BROKEN HEART

Vania gawked because she was too surprised by Rosa's statement. Her body was shaking violently and stiff.

Rosa stepped closer to Vania. She pulled Vania's hand so that Vania was automatically attracted and almost fell into the chair beside him.

"Rosa! Don't be rude you!" shouted Dio angrily. He approached Vania and hugged her. His eyes looked worriedly at Vania. "Vania, you are fine, right?"

"Huh, you really love a cheap girl like her huh?" said Rosa disappointed. "In fact, we are already engaged. But instead, you chose to date and sleep with him! Aren't you worried about something?"

Dio squinted at Rosa. "That's enough, Rosa! You think a cheap trick like this will make me sympathize with you even more?" replied Dio. "I do not love you. It's just a family engagement. I have absolutely no interest in marrying you!"

"Be it a family engagement or not, you should know how to respect me and my family!" said Rosa. "You really are a weak loser! You can only run from reality and enjoy your fake love with a girl like that. Embarrassing!"

The people in the cafe looked at Vania, Dio, and Rosa. They whispered gossip. Most used their cell phones to take pictures and recorded the fights.

Dio realized that. He immediately embraced Vania's body and took Vania's bag.

"Let's go," said Dio. He led Vania to leave Rosa. "Get out of the way!" Vania pushed Dio away. She looked disappointedly at the man.

Vania looked at the ring Dio had given her. The ring was still on her ring finger. She should be happy to see the ring. In fact, she was disgusted and angry.

Vania quickly removed the ring. She threw it right in Dio's face.

"We broke up!" cried Vania frustrated. She walked quickly out of the cafe. Shame and anger haunted her. Vania rushed home.

When she got home, she immediately locked herself in her room. The make-up on her face was washed off by the tears that had been flowing for an hour.

Vania's hand grabbed a tissue. She wiped the tears that couldn't stop flowing. Incredible betrayal! Vania did not think that she would become a victim of Dio's fake love.

Vania's mind re-imagined all the sweet moments when she was with Dio. Never once did Dio look suspicious.

That man was always full of love every time he was with Vania. Vania thought she was everything to Dio.

In fact, she had already thought about her wedding plans with Dio which might be done next year. Everything had been beautifully and perfectly designed in Vania's mind.

Unfortunately, everything is ruined now. Vania is disappointed to know the fact that Dio is already in a relationship with another woman.

Her disappointment was piled up when she realized that she was Dio's mistress.

Yes, that is a very embarrassing fact. Even though Vania was once a sugar baby, now she has completely repented.

She never once sold himself to old men. She made love to Dio because she really loved Dio.

When Vania has been sincere to the man, now Vania's hopes have been blown away so easily.

"What exactly did I do wrong? Why is my luck this bad?" Vania lamented with sadness. Her sadness heart is still there. It's getting bigger and bigger. Vania screamed and cursed at Dio while facing the mirror in the closet in the room.

After exhaustion, Vania laid down on the bed. She hugged her bolster. Her face was staring into the cupboard mirror.

Vania could see how pathetic she was. She already believed in something mortal. With unsteady steps, Vania went to the bathroom.

She splashed himself under the shower for almost an hour. She hoped that all that was experienced could be lost. She wanted the bad things of the day to be gone by the flow of the shower.

After that, Vania wore pajamas. She chose to sleep. She hoped when she wake up, it's all just a dream.

At night, Vania just woke up. She was lazy to get out of bed. However, her stomach felt very hungry. She realized that today she had not eaten anything other than coffee and bread.

Vania took her cell phone. She did not have the energy to cook. She chose to order food online.

Vania waited while checking messages from Dio and Rosa. She got scolded by Rosa. The curses made Vania felt even more embarrassed and didn't want to go back to work.

On the other hand, Dio asked Vania to forgive him. He had even been in front of Vania's house since this afternoon.

"Eh? Since afternoon?" Vania hissed awake.

She was confused about what to do. If she opens the door for Dio, doesn't that mean she's an affair?

Even though her feelings were hostile, Vania finally stepped out of the house. She peeked through the curtains of the window pane in the living room.

There, Dio was still sitting there waiting for her. The man fell asleep on the porch chair.

Usually Vania will melt when she sees Dio acting like that. Dio, who is actually sweet, is hard to resist. Plus, Dio does know how to respect a woman. Never once, Dio said harshly to Vania. Because of that, Vania was so happy to be dating Dio that she was willing to sleep with Dio.

However, now Vania is very disappointed. Dio had lied to him. Because of Dio, Rosa was furious at Vania.

Now Vania doesn't know what to do next Monday. The sound of an online motorcycle taxi is heard. A sign that Vania's food order arrived.

Vania was forced to step out. If she didn't take it, she would be at a loss. Vania does not like to lose. Moreover, she had to save a lot of money for the seven-year mortgage.

Vania hastily opened the door. She stepped out to approach an online motorcycle taxi. She took her order.

"Thank you, sir," said Vania. She walked towards her door.

Unfortunately, Dio had already woken up. The man immediately hurriedly blocked Vania's steps.

"Babe, we have to talk," said Dio. "I don't want to break up with you."

"Get out of the way! I'm sick of you! You are a big liar!" Vania half shouted back. However, because of hunger, Vania's voice was barely audible. "Vania, are you sick?" asked Dio anxiously. "Your face is pale."

"I've been hurt since I found out that I'm just your mistress, Dio!" said Vania fiercely. "You satisfied? You have embarrassed me in front of many people. I thought I was the only one for you but I'm your only mistress! What is my sin to you, Dio? You have the heart to make me your mistress!"

"Vania, I'm sorry. I have no bad intentions. I'm really serious about wanting to marry you. My love is only for you, Vania," explained Dio.

"Love you say? Bullshit!" cursed Vania. She was again shaken by Dio's unreasonable words. "If you love me, you will definitely treat me well. At least you won't ask me out and make me your mistress!"

"Vania, I love you. Only you I love, "said Dio. "I was forced to get engaged to Rosa because Rosa's mother is my mom's best friend. My mother is sick and she asked me to marry Rosa in order to fulfill her promise to Rosa's mother."

"You think I would believe all that?" Vania said mockingly. "Dio, I'm an adult. Don't lie to me again! Just once you lied to me. I don't want to fall again because of you!"

"Vania, I'm not lying. You can check the hospital where my mother is being treated," explained Dio. "Tonight I can take you to see my mom if you want."

Vania looked suspiciously at Dio. She really wanted to meet Mama Dio. However, her stomach growled instead. A sign that she couldn't hold her hunger anymore.

"You are hungry?" said Dio. "Let's eat. I brought you lots of food."

"No need! I already bought it," Vania showed the food she had just ordered. "I've bought a lot. Let's eat it," replied Dio.

He took Vania and took a jumbo paper bag filled with food. Then, he invited Vania into the house. Dio took plates and bowls. He took good care of Vania. He really is a sweet couple. That's what Vania thought.

"Eat. After that, we can talk again," said Dio softly. "I'm hungry too. Shall we eat together? We plan to go on a date today."

"We have broken up," said Vania curtly. "Just go home after eating. There is nothing for us to discuss now." Vania took the spoon. She ate voraciously.

Surprisingly, Dio did not eat much. The man preferred to remain silent and serve Vania well.

Vania's stomach is really full. Now she is no longer dizzy and weak. Her energy was back as it was all.

"This is your favorite fruit pudding," Dio gave dessert to Vania.

"You have no plans to leave now?" Vania replied. "I've kicked you out so many times."

"I'm not planning on leaving. I want to assure you that I sincerely love you, Vania," explained Dio.

"If it's sincere, you should break off your engagement with Rosa. Be fair, Dio! I have feelings! You think I'm not depressed now? What does Rosa think of me? I'm embarrassed if I have to meet Rosa. He's my boss!" Vania babbled out her thoughts.

"Vania, you can quit your job," said Dio. He tried to provide alternative solutions. "You can work at my company. Actually I'm the head of the company. I could easily give you the position of my assistant."

"But I'm still your mistress? You are crazy!" snapped Vania disapprovingly.

"Give me one year, Vania. In one year, I will finish everything. After that, we can get married. Please? Don't break up with me? My love is only for you Vania?" Dio grabbed Vania's fingers and held them tightly. He kissed Vania's fingers. His eyes narrowed at Vania. He hoped that Vania would grant his request.
