Chapter 28 : New News and Catching Up

Before entering Zrervin City Cain stopped and was focusing on his left arm , with support of a rock as leverage he cracked his arm a little then using ground Manipulation he made a clay mold to cover his arm like a plaster mold and started to go into the city .

He first went to the adventurer guild and met with Venturax , looking at Cain in a suprised expression he asked

"Where were you till now ?! I was worried you know . Even Miles Noah the owner of the Bear's claw came to ask if you had left the city and WTF is wrong with your arm ?!"

"Hey Cool down , nothing much happened i was going to the Luxite forest so that i can gather herbs i thought it would take around 3 weeks but in the middle a herd of Tuskers attacked me and while escaping I broke my arm , so coming back took time ."

"You need to meet the guildmaster soon to show your presence as only you were not there here while all others were in the city and since the representative of the Fluid Primordial is coming this week it will be troublesome , go meet her soon"

"WHAT!? This week , wasn't it supposed to be next week"

"No , we were informed a week back that they might come back earlier so yeah they might come within 4 to 6 days"

"FUCK... Tell me what all important things happened in the past one and a half month "

"Come here lets sit , there's a lot to tell"

After this Venturax started to explain what all happened in the past month and a half . The security in the city and the patrolling in the City had increased to maintain order and not create any issuses as it was close to the arrival of Aurora Aquis , they didn't want to draw any attention in a bad way . The adventurers lowered the phase at which they did quests and many were unsually quiet , the incident with the Mynard Dungeon was resolved internally and the guild didn't allow spread of information on it . The news that Aurora Aquis had already reached the Capital of the kingdom came 2 weeks back so she will likely arrive here soon as this was one of the top cities in the Kingdom . Even many other issues such as internal fights between adventurers were reduced and the crime rate also had decreased in the City as no one wanted the attention of who was coming, while Cain's disappearance was not observed by many Venturax told this was most likely because of the guild master's intervention.

Cain after this talk thanked Venturax and headed towards the guildmaster's office.

At the office Cain sat infront of Olivia as she spoke

"What the FUCK ! did you do in the Mynard dungeon , and those were normal flames either and now that i observe you closely you've grown a lot stronger compared to what you were last time Though if not properly observed looks like you are weaker than before"

Cain listening to this told the same story which he told to Venturax , she looked like she believed Cain as no one had seen him going into the dungeon and the Cain even gave some herbs which were indigenous to the Luxite forest .Now she looked like she completely belived him , but Cain had bought this herb at a wandering merchant when he was coming back to the city by paying 60 Gold Welks but looking at her expression Cain Felt it was worth it.

Cain then took out a stone and gave it to Olivia , in a suprised expression Olivia asked

"where did you get this?"

"I told you i was attacked by Tuskers right , it was because i stole the last remains of the Mountain Tusker there. You can have it but cover for me and help me through this pinch and you owe me a favor in the future"

Olivia Took the stone and examined it , then she took the stone and stored it in a shelf and gave Cain a necklace and spoke

"I owe you no Favor take this masking Necklace , it masks your presence and makes you look weaker , I have no use for it as I'm too well known and my disciple is not that strong that he needs it . But if you reveal little of your aura it will break use it with care . I'll take care of your absence , They is going to come here in two days "

"WHAT , It was a week now two days ?! is it someone else "

"No , its Fluid Primordial's daughter , they are going to meet the Duke then after checking his men are going to come here technically they'll come here in 4 to 5 days"

"FUCK!!"

"Don't be worried much i created a alibi for you if it becomes necessary and i'll assure them so don't worry much , just go take rest for 3 to 4 days and don't go out much and come as soon as the guild announces"

"Fine , Thank you "

"Just don't forget you Owe me a favor"

Cain hearing this got up and went out of the guild and headed towards the Bear's Claw Tavern.

When he went he thanked Miles for worrying about but asked not to do it again as it might create difficult circumstances for him . Miles looked at him and spoke

"Though you have your arm broken , you look tired just take rest I understood why you told that . Just it will be better next time to inform and leave "

"Of course and thank you for showing concern and the usual I'll be staying in the same room "

"Yeah , Hot bath water and our best meat dish coming up"

Cain then for the next 2 days stayed holed up in his room and did nothing , absolutely nothing except 'practicing' telekinesis to fly around in his room and eat food in the air .

The next day Cain went out and at afternoon he visited the best Restaurant in the City as he wanted to eat something good since he was without food for more than a month .

Though it was a well known Restaurant Cain didn't wear any special clothing and just wore his normal clothes which he wears as an adventurer and went in to the Restaurant .

The people at the Restaurant didn't stop him even with the lousy wear as he showed his Adventurer Card and they knew many adventurers were very rich .

He then sat in a table for four and called the waiter and asked

"Every Meat dish which you have and I want the best the cheff can offer"

"Sir , but it would likely cost more than 200 gold Welks"

Cain hearing this took out 200 Gold and tossed it to the waiter and spoke

"I'll give more if it impresses me "

The Waiter smiled widely and bowed to Cain and spoke

"Surely sir , we won't disappoint you" and walked towards few other staff and they headed to the Kitchen , they were in a rush because they had got a very rich customer .

Looking at this Cain thought 'Being Rich is fun , just look at them . Wait for me all the money in the world your owner is coming to collect you'

After some time the Waiter brought 10 dishes , Cain looked at them with hunger in his eyes they all looked delicious and mouth watering .

Cain slowly examined each dish and took in their smell with a deep breath and using a fork he started to eat the meat slowly enjoying every bite . Cain was gourmet in his past life , he loved food a lot so he knew how to enjoy it .

Cain was in his own world as he finished 4 dishes and went on to the next dish he heard some one call him sir , Cain shook his head and started to smell the dish but he started to hear the same thing. and next he felt a pat on his shoulder calling him sir.

Cain was angry he turned and looked at the Waiter who was looking at him in a tensed expression and spoke

"Sir can three people share seats with you here ?"

"For this Fucking reason you had to disturb me huh ... Fuck you ! Fuck NO! GET LOST "

"Sir please forgive us but almost all the seats are filled and these are esteemed guests so please "

"Fine but tell them not to disturb me"

"Thank you sir!"

In a few minutes three people joined Cain.
