Chapter 261: ORIGINAL

The atmosphere seemed to have gone colder,

As the skies then boomed with a thundering laughter.

The wind seemed to stab him over and over,

As he, brazing the ever-growing chill, shiver.

He couldn't believe his eyes.

Not even, after seeing it a dozen times.

He tried to make sense of what was happening,

Surely, this shouldn't be possible,

he's not understanding.

He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath,

Hoping that when he opens them, 'it' wouldn't be there.

.

.

.

But what he expected had failed.

The disobedient clone remained.

The clone before him, that was supposed to follow his command,

Was standing there, staring at his eyes.

More so, his expression that paints softness and kindness,

Oddly gives him an unwanted intent.

A warning.

Eligorr was fearing for his life,

But what made his heart thump faster,

was the fact that the other just smiled.

It was unnerving.

Eligorr do not know how to feel,

He gulped and felt his fingers freeze.

He breathe in and out, but it's not working,

His anxiety just gets worse, with the stranger's steps closing the gap between them.

And when his heart thought it won't take more pressure,

He suddenly heard 'him' spoke.

"So you're the one causing my brother the hassle.

The reason why I couldn't rest."

"You're...you're supposed to be dead!"

"Yes, you are correct."

Eleazar then rose his finger up,

"But some of you, just couldn't help it.

Some of you, just keep wanting things that weren't supposed to exist.

Making those worthless experiments,

Despite knowing there's a clear limit.

From making the dead restless, by trapping their souls on their own bodies,

To using captured women to provide you with armies...

To using an angel's essense to create more pawns,

I'm going to be honest, does that sound good at all?

Azazel's quite dumb.

How long does he think it'd all last?

How long does he think it'd last for God to handle everything?

For Him to send an angel to turn his hardwork to nothing?

As you can see, everything Azazel worked hard for, all disappeared.

Well, except you, as we can see.

But don't worry, I'll take care of it quickly,

I'm reliable after all.

You'll be joining your fallen brothers, eventually.

So worry no more if you're being called."

Eligorr gritted his teeth at the threat,

"I believe, enough has been said!

You have no right to claim your body,

You're dead, and you're supposed to remain dead!"

His body once pale, turned beat red.

Eleazar on the other hand, couldn't believe the statement,

"Oh, I don't plan on claiming my former shell.

I'm just summoned to drive you away from it.

And you know, bring you back to hell."

"Stay away from me!

Just...leave and die!"

Eligorr frantically warn him to leave,

But that never did faze him.

"I would have been sleeping a long slumber right now,

But demons are too foolish to make me rest somehow.

What's worse is that...you almost corrupted my brother with your antics.

This have all gone too far, I'm going to handle this."

"No, you can't!

This is mine!

I want it to be mine!

You can't-

I won't leave!

This isn't fair on my part!

It was given to me!

I'm supposed to keep it.

I'm supposed to live!"

Eleazar again, smiles.

"I only hate three things in life."

.

.

.

"One, demons."

He zooms towards Eligorr in a speed he cannot believe exists.

In a split second, Eleazar managed to trap him with his grip.

"Two, foolish creatures."

Eleazar then punches Eligorr in the cheek,

Making him lose his balance in a manner too quick.

"And three, those who hurts my brother."

He then draws his sword and puts it deep into Eligorr,

Making the demon holler.

"Unfortunately, you're all three."

Eleazar spoke nonchalantly.

Lluming could only watch as his brother avenge him instead,

Feeling his eyes water, after seeing it play.

He then yells his brother's name,

Couldn't help feeling, of wanting his embrace.

"I'll talk to you later, Llum-Llum.

Just let me handle this foul of a demon."

Eligorr then quickly summoned clones to trap Eleazar,

But despite the quick change in position,

The angel seemed relaxed.

"Why you-"

"A dead person doesn't have to fear, you know?"

He then gains a weakening blow.

Eligorr was shot up to a far distance,

As Eleazar then ran to stab him twice.

Eligorr quickly tried to dodge,

As Eleazar threw his summoned spear, way too fast.

Despite the demon's best efforts, it wasn't enough.

As he noticed he failed, the moment he saw the pool of blood.

It resulted into him losing his limbs,

But before Eleazar could come near him,

The angel heard a scream.

Lluming had been shot by his wings,

By two of Eligorr's clones he had yet to kill.

Eligorr took the opportunity to convince Lluming to choose wisely,

But before he could finish his sentence,

Eleazar ignored him completely.

The angel ran towards his brother before Lluming could be stabbed,

And was quick to decapitate both clones at once.

Lluming by then, was too weak to stand,

And only looked at his brother with thanks and warmth.

Eleazar sighed in relief and ripped a part of his clothing,

Wiping the blood and dirt on his brother's face.

Lluming felt his tears come back again,

He wanted to much, to shower him thanks.

Before he could speak a word of gratitude however,

He saw something that filled him with horror.

Eligorr had sneaked up to Eleazar while the angel was busy taking care of Lluming,

Stabbing Eleazars chest in every hope of killing him.

Blood oozed from the angel's mouth as realization had dawned upon him,

"Ah, I got distracted 'cause you looked so dirty."

He smiled and giggled as blood continued to fall,

And Lluming could only yell at him, confused to why he was calm at all.

Eleazar held his face as he stares into his eyes,

"Don't scream at me like that. It's not nice."

"But-I don't understand."

Until, they were interrupted by Eligorr's laugh.

"See this, this is what happens when you prioritize love!"

He then quickly pulls Eleazar away from Lluming,

Trampling him in the soil as he then turned to pick the smaller angel.

"And you're next, blondie!

I'll send you off to hell!"

But before he could stab him,

He felt his body began to fade.

He looked at horror as his precious skin rot away.

And his bones began to shatter and break.

His eyes were filled with a million questions at once,

As Eleazar stands up, and answers him from behind.

"I'm the original, have you forgot?

Whatever happens to me, happens to you twice as fast."

He then finishes Eligorr off with a stab,

Making Eligorr wonder,

Why he failed that much.

.

.

.

Lluming quickly embraced his brother despite the shaking knees and painful limbs.

Eleazar, who was stunned at first, was too enjoying the moment to even speak.

Lluming fake coughed to get a reaction from him,

And Eleazar could only pinch his brother's cheek.

"Don't do anything silly again.

You're making me a nervous wreck."

"That's the first time I heard you say that."

"Whatever, I got a heart attack.

Do you know how surprised I was when I heard you became reckless again?

Tsk, it was a whole level of pain.

Even painful than being scold by Michael.

Or-or, being cursed by Selaphiel."

Lluming laughed at his brother's words.

But after a 3-second silence, nods.

"Seriously...you're too old to know what's right and wrong.

Always choose the good path, because I won't be long."

The embrace got tighter after reality was recalled,

And Eleazar could only feel bad for his brother.

"Look, I won't die so long as you're still living upon my words.

I'm not asking you to be exactly like me,

but just a good example.

And, well...make sure you won't regret your life, alright?

Serve well, and with your heart."

Lluming soon opened his eyes and saw that his brother was also beginning to crumble away,

"Eleazar..."

"I can't stay."

Lluming then held his brother's hands as he smiles one last time,

"I love you.

Thank you for coming by."

Eleazar smiles back as he holds his brother close,

"Of course. That's what brothers are for.

Now, now...be a good boy.

Do your best.

Live life with joy."

The moment his brother's remains disappeared from his fingers,

Was the moment his smile faded like a glass cover.

His eyes soon lost the happiness he had moments ago,

And felt his sorrow cover him whole.

When he looked at his hand however,

He realized his brother had left something over.

It was his brother's blue emblem.

That quickly entered his heart the moment he noticed it.

He soon felt the heavy feeling leave,

And only his great respect and love for him remained.

He felt satisfied and free from everything he had been carrying,

And even if he was wondering himself how it happened,

Knew that there are more people who needed his help,

So he must think ahead and offer them aid.

His eyes then scanned his surroundings thoroughly,

Wondering where he is needed the most to be.
