They were all horrified by the fact of a squad member being killed in one swift movement. Grace was bitten in half by a chimera wolf and her other half was tossed to the side. This hit Jasmine and Vincent the hardest at that moment.

"Alex, Get it ready! I'm going in," Eric shouted.

"Wait! I can't. I need time," Alex said.

"I'll give you what I can."

Eric and Landon ran forward heading to the beast. Landon went swiftly past him using his wind corridor ability. This time Landon jumped up throwing out a wind blade with one hand and threw out a stream of fire right behind it looking like a flamethrower. When the flames touched the wind blade it ignited with fire and hit the snake tail.

The flaming wind blade hit the tail and stopped looking like it was still trying to go through it, and then it suddenly exploded. The snake tail was halfway cut through and charred from top to bottom. It fell down like a limp noodle.
