2. New World Online

Asuna's POV...

"Wakey wakey, Asuna" Miss Akagi sung at my door. I ignored her and continued to sleep. There was no sound anymore so I thought she was gone. I turned to get up from the bird when I saw her,

"AHHH" we both screamed at the same time.

"Do not sneak up on people like that' I told her after calming down..."it's annoying when people do that"

"You are late for food, what were you doing yesterday?" She questioned.

"Nothing", I answered quickly. She looked at me questioningly and started smiling. I also started smiling and she told me that my food is ready but I should hurry and come down. She then left the room still smiling.

I rushed into the bathroom as soon as she left my room. The bathroom was painted blue with pink hearts designed on it and white ceiling. There is a large mirror behind the door and a bathtub at the far end of the bathroom. The soap and everything else were beside the tub and the towel was hanging on the wall. I removed my blue pants and tank top that I used to sleep yesterday and put them on the floor. I opened the tap into the bathtub and laid in the warm water. I stayed liked that for some time and started to wash myself. I got out of the tub and cleaned myself. After that, I got out of the bathroom and headed towards my closet.

"[Hmmm, what should I wear today, my favorite dress or the white one]" I thought about it for some time and decided to choose the white one.

I put on my white pants and brazier and picked a white top that reach just below my breast with white jeans. I combed my hair and applied some pomade. After that I looked at myself in the mirror and got out of the room when I knew I was done. When I reached the dining room,my food was on the table but no one was present there.

"[Maybe she's gone to work]" I thought. I sat down and ate my food gently. I washed the dishes and did everything required of me. After that I went into my room.

My room is also blue with pink hearts designed on it. There is a large bed at the right side with two blue pillows.

I switched on my Asus laptop and sat on my bed. I logged into my blade and soul game with my assassin character. I have two characters in this game, assassin and soul fighter but my main character is the assassin. My assassin's character is at level 60, and my soul fighter is at level 55. I completed my daily quest and joined a team to complete my weekly quests. We were 6 in a team but we formed an alliance with another team because the boss in the dungeon was having crazy HP. We first went to the Hall of The Keeper and completed it. We moved on to the Hall of The Templar and completed that one too. We went to Dasari Palace Gardens and completed all the dungeons there.

"Hey, can you believe it?" A clan member named SILENT sent a message in our clan chat. He is also using an assassin character. The name of our clan is PlayToWin. All the members in our clan use money to purchase things in the game and because of this our clan is ranked 1st in the server.

I replied his message "Believe what?" I looked at his message thinking about what he would say.

"The new MMORPG game, you have to try it. It's the best, it's really nice, Lisa, and it requires the visual reality equipment" He wrote in the chat.

"Have you tried it, or you just watched someone's gameplay?" I asked in the chat..."and what is the name of the game?"

"I tried it myself, I bought it yesterday and created my character. Plus I won't be telling you the name yet. If I tell you, you will start competing with me in the game so I will tell you when I reach level 30 and become powerful ,hehe" He wrote in the chat which surprised me. "[When did I compete with him.]"

"Were you not the one who invited me?" I added an angry emoji to the message and sent it..."ok, then explain how the game works" He sent a laughing emoji and told me to go and search for the game myself.

"What is your name in that game, same name?" I asked him.

"Yh, same name" he answered.

"Ok bye bye, see you the next time I come online" I quit the blade and soul and decided to find the game he was talking about.

I opened the youtube application on my laptop and searched, (New MMORPG games). I watched all the videos but none of them required VR equipment.

"Ohhhh, maybe i should add VR to it" I searched again. The games that appeared were in foreign languages and I could not understand them.

"[So there is no VRMMORPG game that I can understand?]" I spent hours searching for the game until I got frustrated and shut down my laptop. I checked the time and it was 6pm, I went downstairs to eat my food. After eating, I washed the dishes and came back up to lie on my bed.

I took my phone and logged into discord. I clicked on PlayToWin which is my clan chat. I clicked on General in the chat and sent a message,

"Hellooo, guildies"

"Hey" My guild leader named KingKai replied. After the leader replied, everybody started logging into discord because a lot of notices popped up on my screen saying that someone has logged in. Everybody started replying my message but the one that made me annoyed was SIENT's message. He asked me if I am still searching for the new game.

"I have now reached level 20" he sent the message with a laughing emoji. I sent a smirking emoji to the chat.

"Guys, what is the name of the new game?"

"New World Online" Nezuko, one of my clan member in blade and soul quickly answered as soon as I asked the question. SILENT sent a crying emoji which made me laugh out loud.

"See, not even a day has passed and I got the name of the game, hahahaha"

"WHAT, you did not know?" KingKai questioned.

"I just heard about it this morning, but I did not get the name" I answered..."why"

"I told everybody about it yesterday. We have bought the game and created our characters, we were leveling up earlier. I even thought you have gotten the game and you were leveling up alone"

"That annoying SILENT refused to tell me the name of the game" I sent with an angry emoji.

"Hahahaha, You cannot surpass me in this game even if you join right now, haha" SILENT said with an annoying emoji.

"Hey, SILENT, there is an event coming on that's why we were helping each other level up this morning" Willow also a member of my clan gave SILENT a piece of her mind..."do not forget we also helped you"

"haha, same as always :)" Deathnote messaged.

"If you want my pardon, SILENT, Help me level up tomorrow." I sent with a smirking emoji.

"OK, whatever you say, Lisa" SILENT said which made me smile. Lisa is my game name.

"Where did you guys get the game anyway?" I asked with a question emoji." "[He did not even refuse?]

"Go to the site and order the game lazy" SILENT started his annoying things again.

"I AM NOT LAZY" I angrily sent the message and logged out of the discord. I quickly searched for the game's site and ordered it in addition to the VR equipment and went to sleep.

~~~Tuesday, 4:00 am.~~~

I woke up and checked the time on my phone. It was 4am. I switched on my laptop and opened the youtube. I searched for the New World Online and watched it. I also read the comments and one of the comments written was that thousands of people have already bought the game and it has become popular. I read almost all the comments and most of them were about the classes and the dungeons in the game, some were also talking about the outfits in the game. "[The game must really be interesting]" I switched off my laptop and went to take my bath after training in my gym for some time. My gym is made of glass walls but no one can see through them. All types of training equipment have been put in there.

I put on the same type of dress I wore yesterday but with different colour. This time the top was purple with blue jeans.

I went downstairs to the kitchen and prepared spaghetti for myself. I washed the plate after eating the food and went back to my room to complete my daily quests in the Blade and Soul and the Black Desert. I had nothing to do anymore so I went back downstairs to wake Miss Akagi since the time was now 6am. I woke her and helped her with all the things she needed. After doing everything she needed to do, she got ready and left for work. As soon as she left, someone came to knock on the door. I opened the door to see a man with a package.

"Please are you Asuna?" the man asked.

"Yes, that's me" I answered.

"This is your order" He gave me the package and collected his money then left. I closed the door and brought the package into my room. I put the package on my bed. I opened it and sent a message to my clan's discord group that I have gotten the game when I saw what was inside.

"Hurry up and come then, we are in a dungeon" KingKai sent in the group.

"OK" I removed the game and the VR equipment from the package. I searched for the game's site on my phone and created my account for the game. "[ I can't believe they have gone to a dungeon on their second day]"

The name of the game was written on game with white color and a blue dragon has been drawn on it. I set the game and wore the VR equipment. There is a lot of space in my room because it is big so I do not have to worry about anything. An interface appeared with the name of the game on it. I was then sent to an open area with blue cubes everywhere but i did not see anyone. Something popped up in front of me requiring my name. I typed Lisa in the space provided and the classes showed up. The weapons for the various classes were moving around, I read about all of them and chose the double short sword weapon which most people called the class swashbuckler in the comments I read earlier. After choosing the weapon, another interface popped up showing my status. "[All assassins need is speed and attack power]" I thought. I was given 100 points to distribute. I put 20 at Strength, 50 at Agility,10 at Intelligence, 10 at Vitality and 10 at Dexterity.

I pressed OK and was sent to an area with many other players moving around. [Is this game even new or they just found out about it, because this place is crowded]. This must be the starting area. This place is big with a fountain in the middle. The sky looks real and there are many different houses. I looked at my surroundings and opened my character interface to see myself in there. I am wearing a blue top and a blue skirt with my swords behind me. My hair is very long, it stopped behind my ankle and it is also blue."[My everything is blue?]" My eyes are also blue. I opened my skills interface and checked the skills I had. {SLASH} {WIND CUTTER} {WATER BALL} {POWER ATTACK} {FIRE BALL} {TORRENT} {DOUBLE SLASH} {HEAL}.

"Hmm, I will be moving around a lot when I am fighting because of the class I chose" I shrugged at what I said.

I was about to move when a panel popped up in front of me. It read, you have acquired a new friend request. "[Who could it be?]" The only person that popped up in my head was SILENT.

I pressed the message and someone's name appeared.

"Oh okay, but how did he even know I have entered the game" I put my hand on my chin. "[Oh I forgot I sent them a message in our group chat on discord about the game]" I accepted the request and opened his status.

"WHAT?," I screamed which made all the people around look at me, "why does he always choose the same class I choose and he is a she?." I ignored them and moved to an uncrowded place. SILENT is also using double short swords. She's at level 23 and she is wearing white armor with white pants . Her swords are blue and they look like lightning. Her hair is blonde and it is short. She sent me a message in the whisper chat saying,

"Hey, where are you?"

"The starting area, where else would I be?" I answered..."So is this your real face?"

"OK, I will be right there" she replied..."Is this your real hair?" "[Really annoying]".

"Get over here now" I closed the chat panel and leaned beside a building nearby. Minutes after waiting, SILENT arrived.

"What kept you, and why did you not tell me your gender" I asked her.

"You see, this is what I was talking about when I said you would compete with me" She said annoyed. I looked at her questioningly until she said "you chose the same class"

I made a silent oh and and walked closer to her.

"You should have told me earlier...but I remember telling you I like using assassins in games" I said smirking.

She pushed me away."OK,OK lets get going, they want to see you"

"Hey,hey we will help each other so do not worry" I assured her.

"Are u okay with that hair in real?" She said pointing to my hair.

I looked at her and started laughing "My hair is not that long, it just reaches below my waist"

She then started smiling and elbowed me. "We should get going"

We talked about many things on the way. She showed me some of her skills and taught me some of the way other people interact with each other and stuff. We then reached the place we were headed to and I saw everybody smiling at me.
