The way-part 3

As they all sat around the fire and started to eat meat from the rabbits and some vegetables that Ondrej never saw before but were tasty it was also all on a small twig which made it rather easy to eat, as they sat and ate few people started playing music on some musical instruments it seemed like everyone held high hopes towards Ondrej's leadership and were glad they embarked on this journey as they sung and danced Ondrej watched being happy that they didn't fear him since they knew he was with them after watching for a few minutes he turned to Clover who had her eyes after she ate glued to the people dancing and singing as the music played "So how does one become demon ?" Ondrej asked out of blue and Clover snapped out of it as Terence, Laura and Elize turned towards him as if asking the obvious, Clover didn't mind it and said "I was born like this and abandoned since everyone thinks this is a curse " she said softly trying to not cry Ondrej just patted her head "It's not curse everyone is different look at Terence his skin color is different and i'm not saying he's cursed in fact he is gifted in his line of work he is amazing smith" as he said that Terence chuckled as he smiled being glad his work was complimented and Clover smiled too not much but she did and softly said "I-I can make fire" she opened palm of her hand and a small greenish flame danced around before she closed her hand again Ondrej smiled "See everyone is special in they're own way" Elize pouted as she heard that and then fellt Ondrej's hand on her head "Yes you are too" he said as he smiled softly "Anyway imma hit the hay for the night tell me when it's my turn to patrol around" as he said so he stood up he let go of the girls and found a spot where to sleep as Silver curled up near him and Ondrej just used him as a pillow.

As the night gone the people who knew how to fight swapped when it was they're turn to patrol around the caravan when the day came everyone started to pack up and got ready to continue the women Ondrej rescued last night joined them and were given some plain looking clothes as Ondrej got in front of the caravan Clover and Elize joined him both looking at the other rather competitive which Ondrej just shrugged of since he didn't want any of this to develop into a problem while they were on the way everyone went into the formation as before with the exception of the girls following behing Ondrej while he didn't mind this he did ask them to stay vigilant as they started the travel they went towards the city which they would only pass as the target was behing it as they went the forrest they traveled throu was rather quiet only bird's songs were heard Ondrej didn't find it weird as they were almost near the city edge as they traveled throu the forest by it few of the mutated ants ran past but they didn't seem to be themselves as even few of the wasp mutants flew up in the sky Ondrej halted the caravan and waited as they flew past before continuing towards the base it would probably take them only a hour or two if they don't find anything that could threaten the caravan as they traveled Ondrej just smiled as the travel was rather easy when they arrived few slavers were in front of the door to the base trying to get in and when they saw the caravan they tried to run for it instead Ondrej shot one in the leg and blew it of as he shot with his rifle another shot rang out as Clover nailed the second ones head while Elize shoot down a third one with her smg while Ondrej shouted to two others "Stand down and you're not gonna get hurt !" as he shouted that the two dropped they're M16s and put they're hands up "Now you're going to sit to each other facing away from each other" they did as Ondrej said and sat there before one of the militia men tied them with a rope that he took from one of the carts.

Ondrej just sighed as he went to the one with missing leg that was trying to crawl away and stopped the man by stepping on his back as he pulled out his Cutglass and sliced the slavers throat as he turned to the other two "Now tell me where is your boss so i can get rid of you vermin" as hes said so the two were frozen still before one of them spoke as the caravan went toset up while Ondrej handed Elize the card to open the base "We were send as scouts if none of us make it back they'll presume we were killed " Ondrej added to that "And if i don't kill you you'll tell were here" the one that spoken shook his head and the other nodded " So i can just kill one and he'll say he ran into ants and the people who were with him died" as he said that he killed the one who was uncooperative and set the cooperative one free telling him what exactly to do in threatening tone.
