The cyber attacks from her finally ceased we were able to finally get back on track with the development of the company. While I could technically coast by for a few years off of the development of the optics that wouldn't make me a household name. I need to develop appeal for the company while everything is still fresh in the minds of the world. I needed to show the world that I was more than just a zealot awaiting the coming of a god.

For now, I would be publicly known for my development of the optics but soon I plan on pushing the boundaries of scientific innovation in various fields. I'm thinking of space travel...

I wanted to be angry about the lack of information but I wasn't. I should have expected this bullshit from the system as it was a common trope in system novels. Rather than continue to focus on frustrating systems, I decided to meet Tony. It's been a while and I needed to nurture our friendship otherwise he would start thinking I was only friends for convenience's sake.

Tony decided to invite me to a bar that he likes to frequent along with Bruce Baner and Steve Rogers. Bruce was here reluctantly as he had a thing for Natasha even though he was trying to get back together with Betty Ross. According to Tony, he brought him here so that he could finally pick a lane instead of being half committed to either. As for Steve Tony wanted to see if he could get him drunk enough to hit on some women.

While I wasn't thrilled with being bait for Banner's issues I was curious to know how he would react. I considered this to be the closest thing to a controlled environment I was going to get from Banner. Which is probably exactly what Tony intended when he set this little get-together up in the first place.

The idea seemed more likely as I noticed that Rhodey his supposed best friend was nowhere in sight. Although one could argue that he was likely working I doubt it, if Tony wanted him he could easily pull some strings to make it happen. My First meeting with Dr. Banner was as I expected very awkward for him as he seemed somewhat bitter.

Banner: Alright I'll come right out and say it. Tony, you're an asshole!

Tony: I don't know what has gotten you so upset Bruce what's wrong?

Banner: You know what the problem is don't pretend

Tony: I thought you would want to meet with one of our newest additions to our little club. I had no idea...

Steve: Tony cut it out already

"I was hoping to meet with a supposedly brilliant mind but the thought of me dating Natasha outweighs your scientific intrigue"

Banner: I'm sorry it's not your fault but how would you feel if you were forced to sit with someone who has taken a woman that you were interested in?

"I wouldn't know I have never been in such a scenario"

Banner: Don't give me that bullshit be serious it's bad enough when Tony acts that way we don't need two

"I am being honest I'm a highborn essentially nobility by your understanding if I had desired a woman she would easily been mine as for wives those were usually political contracts between houses"

Steve: So you have never dated anyone before coming to this dimension? How did you know if you were compatible with each other before you married?

"It would be decided by our houses so getting to know one another wouldn't matter..."

Tony: Hate to break all this up but someone just broke into the Avengers tower

While we were having our little get-together someone decided it was a smart idea to break into the Avengers headquarters. As we arrived on the scene I was both surprised and annoyed to find that the invaders seemed to be around eighteen possibly nineteen years old. This meant Steve would definitely have us use the kiddie gloves with them although one appeared to be a living shadow.

Tony: You kids seem lost tours only take place in the morning and it's a school night shouldn't you be at home?
