After giving myself another once over I went to Drake to tell him I would be gone for a year and when he asked where I would be going I told him I would be training in Familiar Forest for a year he said it would be fine as long as I came back at the end of the month.
"What's happening at the end of the month?" I asked.
"With the news of your birth going around theirs a lot of people who want to meet you and I'm told Fefnir is coming as well." He said surprising me that they would want to meet me so soon after my birth.
"Why would they want to meet me so soon." I asked.
"After the fight Fafnir had with the devil that man's peerage came for revenge and while Fafnir was busy with the fight and a sudden burst of mana caused Fafnir to lose focus and allowed the devils to escape. Fafnir told my father that the mana he felt rivaled Tiamat for a split second and that he swore that mana came from you. The devils that survived told the higher ups the same thing and they came back with a aren't to attack Fafnir to take the egg but Fafnir managed to teleport you outside Dragon mountain before they attacked." His answer to my question left me shocked and had me thinking on if going to Familiar Forest was the right Choice if the devils will be after me.
"Wouldn't it be unwise to invite the devils here if it's their goal to take me?" I asked.
"That's why Fafnir is coming to show the devils that you're also under his protection for those dumb enough to try something on Tannins watch." He said.
"Ok well I'll make sure to come back for that.
Is there anything else?" I asked.
"No that's all. Do you know how to get to Familiar Forest?" He asked as I started walking away and I just answered with a nod as I started to fly in the direction of Familiar Forest using my swift skill.
~45 minutes later~
At my top speed it only took me 45 minutes to get here and find a cave that was near a water source. As I landed in front of the cave world slowed to a crawl and out of instincts I jump back and at the spot I was just standing at was hit by blast of what seemed to be acid or possibly a corrosive poison.
Looking up at the entrance of the cave I saw a hydra that was twice my size walking out of the cave with a hiss leaving it mouth.
'System observed the target.'

Looking at the Hydra's level a grin made it was onto my face and the system sounded.

Looking at the quest as nothing but a bonus I activated my aura and my swift skill I appeared behind its first head with both of my hands cupped together above my head I slammed them towards its head with all of my strength destroying its first head before dodging a bite and a blast from its other to heads.
As I land a few feet away I noticed that its head was already regenerating and and two more seemed to take its place. Using observe on it once more I noticed its stats had changed.

'It's stats has increased and it's still at full heath but it's MP gas decreased meaning it uses Magic to regenerate.' I thought as I looked at its new stats.
'If I keep going on like this it will eventually grow past me in terms of strength. How did the legends say to stop it regeneration again?' I thought as I took to the air to dodge a combined blast from the 4 hydra heads.
'Think what did Heracles use to skill the Hydra from legend?' I before I notice the Hydra seemed to jump and use its head has a bat to hit me away.

It's hit caused me to grunt as I rocketed towards the ground landing next to what seem it be a Flaming Salamander and that when it hit me. 'It was fire, fire is its weakness.' With much more vigor than before I dashed towards the Hydra using my speed to appear behind one of its heads I unleashed my dragons breath.
As I burned its head way I saw that nothing was regenerating back in it place and used observe to check its hp.
Hp:18,750/25,000
I did a fourth of its Hp meaning each of its head represents a portion of it heath. But now that it know I can use dragons breath on that scale and out speed it, it's gonna keep its guard up for that.
'I got an Idea' I thought as I started moving mana towards my hands before willing the mana to start burning.

As I man caught on fire I could see visible fear in it eyes as I approached it before swinging my fist forward to unleash a huge blast of fire that swallowed all of its heads whole leaving nothing but its legs and torso behind.

As I look at the amount of magic that just costed I realized without my Dragon Magic cost decreased I probably would've died from a massive mana drain if I didn't get that skill.
As I made it back to the cave I looked at my gains from the fight
