109 Unexpected guest

Before, Shuhang had always thought that the reason was due to him partially losing mind from Ddraig's madness accumulated from all the infinite existing realities. Now though... he's beginning to question that more and more as time passes. There is just in no way possible for Shuhang to suddenly want to use 'Juggernaut Drive' just to fight THE Dragon of Dreams out of no where. And if he didn't use 'Juggernaut Drive', then there would have been no reason at all why Shuhang would lose his mind due to Ddraig's overwhelming 'madness'.

White: "Hm... Yes, I remember. I thought it strange as well. Since friend Shuhang never mentioned it afterward, I never brought it up either, thinking it impolite to pry. I'm guessing that something did happen?"

Shuhang gave White an unsure look, but ultimately nodded his head in the end.

White: "I see. I think it happened when we first arrived in that 'Secret Realm' by our 3rd, or maybe 4th secret realm we visited? Unlike the other secret realms, which were like a world of their own, that one was vastly different than the others. Thinking back, it seemed more like a [Prison] than anything else..."

After sometimes passed, Venerable White finally finished listing out the places they went to. With that, Shuhang's hazy memories of that event finally cleared up.... some what.

(The places that Ah White explained as 'minor worlds'... I wonder how he would react if told that they weren't just minor worlds, but were actual worlds in a different reality. Heck, I wouldn't even be surprised if he one day just started whipping out a different, altered version of his 'kaleidoscope' magic considering how many times he's witnessed it.)

Putting that thought aside, Shuhang went over the lists of worlds they went through again. Two of those worlds stood out the most to him as he actually recognized them unlike the others. At least not unless he was able to visit one more since there could only be so little that White could tell Shuhang as white lacked the 'knowledge' of those worlds. There's also the possibilities that those were 'original worlds' as well considering the vastness of the multiverse.

As for the recognized world; The 'danmachi' world and the 'Campione!' world, and the final destination, the 'DxD' world. Shuhang wasn't sure if they were related or not, but those worlds have existences known as 'Gods' in them. Just to be safe, he put a mental note on that to explore it later. Oh that's right... The world he sent his disciple, Joseph Guy, also had 'Gods' in it... (Coincidence? No it shouldn't be. Although hazy, I remember that he Summoned me through one of the charms I've given him.)

Shuhang: "Then... According to your calculations, how long did you think we spent traveling before making it back here?"

Another thought suddenly hit him. How was it possible that the went to that many.... 'adventures' in only the time span of a week? Perhaps...

White: "If I'm not wrong... It was likely to be much longer than one week. At that time, I some how felt that time flowed differently in each minor worlds we went to. We should have spent close to around 2 months of time in those minor worlds "

(Ah... That explains it. Different reality, different flow of time. And from Whites description...or lack thereof, it seems we made quite a bit of trouble in each of those worlds. The biggest question though... why did my memories go hazy at all. What triggered it? And what made my power go unstable that forced us to continuously jump through those worlds?)

Noticing the frown on Shuhang's face, Venerable White opted to stay silent, waiting for him to finish his contemplations. This in turn also gave him some times to ponder over the memories that suddenly surfaces during his most recent meditation.

Even after a long while, Shuhang still couldn't figure anything out so he asked White one final question.

Shuhang: "Ah White, during my scuffle with that Dragon, did you notice anything strange about me?"

Suddenly hearing a question directed at him broke Whites contemplations. He wasn't bothered however as he was in the same boat as Shuhang and couldn't figure anything out either.

WHite: "Something strange? Hmm... As soon as we entered that minor world, the Dragon suddenly appeared out of no where and started attacking and you responded in kind. Other than that... Oh! There was one thing."

Hearing this, Shuhang's body tensed up unknowingly.

White: "You started chanting in the middle of your fight when it looked like you were at a disadvantage. There were also the mumbling of many... Souls? Intermingled within as well. As I was too focused on protecting myself from the chaotic energy however I couldn't hear the spirits word very well."

(Chanting...? If I'm not wrong, it's most likely the chant for 'Juggernaut Drive'. Makes sense as there's no way I can fight the Apocalypse Dragon in my current stage without going all out. Even then, I doubt I could win.)

White: "If I recall correctly, it went something like this...."

'I who shall reclaim my throne,

($@+£>><#|)

Am the True Dragon of Origin whose existence Dominated all things in creation...'

(Wait, what the hell?! Whose God damned chant is that supposed to be...?!)

Startled by the unexpected information, Shuhang wasn't able to retort properly as he listened to the rest of the chant.

.

.

.

Dumb founded.

That was the only way to describe the current facial expressions of Shuhang's. All sorts of emotions swirled around in his heart as questions after questions arose. Yet, no answer came to him no matter how much he kept thinking. In the end, he only got more questions and no answer.

"....ang. Friend Shuhang?"

Shuhang: "Ah? Oh... Yes?"

White: "...was there anything you wanted to ask me?"

As soon as he opened his mouth to answer, Shuhang closed it as he didn't have anything else to say. Even if there were, he didn't know how ask and his friend, Venerable White, most likely wouldn't have the answer anyways...

After thinking about it a bit more, Shuhang decided that they were done for now. As thanks for indulging him, Shuhang gave White one set of the [Evil Piece] that he acquired recently. To no surprise, White's eyes had gained a most intense glow and smiled brightly. It's definitely because he will be able to 'play' with it as much as he want without being interrupted like last time. This time, there's actually even a whole set!

Now back in his room, Shuhang immediately Sat in meditation and sent his spiritual sense inwards to his inner world. He had decided that if he wanted answer, the best... Person... To ask would definitely be Ddraig, and no one else.

To Shuhang's surprise, the first thing that entered his vision wasn't Ddraig as he had expected. It was actually a tiny little girl in black Gothic Lolita clothes. She was currently staring at his 'Nascent Soul' with an excursionless face.

--pfft!--

(Wha--!? The hell is Ophis doing here?) thought Shuhang in confusion. Before Shuhang could direct a question towards to the nearby Ddraig who was floating about, something shocking had happened. It was so sudden that neither Shuhang nor Ddraig was able to respond. In fact, Ddraig was so surprised that he actually sunk under and started to drown a little.

*PUCHI!!*

With her tiny little hand, Ophis stabbed Shuhang's nascent soul directly at the heart area.

The inner world shook violently.
