Thea bent her knees and jumped off the branch that was located above the horned rabbit. She silently fell through the air nearing her target as she reached striking distance, she extended one of her tentacles, forming it into a spears tip and pierced it through the rabbits abdomen. Before the horned rabbit could even react, and before Thea could even land, it was dead.
Thea was greatly disappointed with her first battle, she had at least expected it to react and jump out the way with its high agility but it couldn't even see Thea before it died.
While for many people the horned rabbit would be a great first opponent, maybe even too strong, Thea had optimized her body and increased her starting stats, beginner opponents like the small rabbit she just faced wouldn't bring her any combat experience, status experience it would bring though.
Thea checked her status to see how much of an increase the small rabbit brought her.

[Name = Althea Magna]
[Race = Bohemicum]
[Titles = First Grand Space Mage, Reincarnated, Primum Bohemicum, Sweet Tooth, Heir to Magna Territory, Loved by Lily, Lewd [Temporarily Locked]]
[Level = 1 (3/100)]
[Strength = 10] [Mana = 75]
[Defense = ∞] [Charm = 50]
[Agility = 8] [Luck = 1]

3 exp… although it made sense with how weak it was, it was still surprising, she would need to hunt 34 horned rabbits just to raise to the next level.
She put the rabbit in her inventory and started exploring the forest again, she had left her home just 10 minutes ago and would have about 35 minutes before her mother came looking for her. As Thea was running through the treetops again she saw three more red dots come into the maps view. Two of them were close together and one was on its own.
She decided to go for the two together and when she came in range again she saw two horned rabbits grazing together. Just like before she attacked them and they died in a single strike. A little bored she headed to the third red dot that was alone.
When the red dot came into view she saw a large, 1.5 meter tall, muscular boar instead of a horned rabbit. When she inspected it this screen came up:
-----------------------------------
[Name = Berserker Boar]
[Race = Beast]
[Level = 5 (182/500)]
[Strength = 12] [Mana = 2]
[Defense = 13] [Charm = 0]
[Agility = 6] [Luck = 0]
-----------------------------------
[Passive Skills: Select to Open]
[Active Skills: Select to Open]
-----------------------------------
Thea was a little surprised. The boar was only two levels higher than the horned rabbit but its stats were proportionally better. Thea's own stats were close to the boars, so she decided to face it head on instead of sneak attacking it.
She wouldn't need to worry about it running away, as her agility was higher and the boar couldn't hurt her as she had infinite defense. Before facing it though she decided to inspect its skills, as the horned rabbits she had hunted before all had the same skills, there was a high chance that all the monsters of the same type had similar skills.
-----------------------------------
[Passive Skills: Hard Headed, Berserker]
[Active Skills: Charge]
-----------------------------------
Curious about the skills she inspected each of them:
[Hard Headed (LVL.1): Head and neck have been hardened after continuously headbutting objects and beasts.]
[Berserker (LVL.1): Target gives up significant intelligence for higher physical stats. Target becomes more aggressive.]
[Charge (LVL.1): Rushes at target, using head and tusks to headbutt opponent.]
These skills explained to Thea why the boars physical stats where higher. This brought Thea another question, why was she able to see the beasts skills when she couldn't see her mothers when she inspected her. She could only see Lily's status but not skills.
Not dwelling on the question too long she jumped down to the forest floor and stood in front of the boar. The boar hearing her land, quickly turned around and faced her. As Thea had only seen it from the back, she now, could really look at it.
It had dark brown fur covering its thick body, you could visibly see the muscles it had, it had long thick tusks coming out of its lower jaw that pointed upwards. The most notable thing was its eyes, they were completely red, having read enough manga's and novels in her past life she guessed this was because the boar was berserk.
As she finished looking at the it, the boar started charging at her. Thea having full faith in her defense stood there planning to take the first hit, forgetting about the simple laws of physics.
As the boars charge hit her, Thea was slammed back a couple of meters into the tree behind her. Thea wasn't hurt, but confused, 'Isn't my defense infinite?' she thought. Then she realized something, 'Just because my defense is infinite doesn't mean I have the body mass to stay in place after all that kinetic energy hit me.'
Having figured out her physical limits, she was both happy and angry. She was happy because this physical exchange enlightened her about her current standing but angry because the dress she was wearing was ruined, it was a birthday present she received a few days ago!
Unlike with the rabbits she hadn't prepared anything against the boar, not even her cool little ninja suit, and Thea paid the price for being overconfident. She now had no choice but to explain to her mother where she was, as her mother would surely notice the tears in the dress.
Full of anger towards her own naivety, she turned to the boar, equipped her ninja hair suit and her unique eyes glared at the boar fiercely. The boar felt a great sense of intimidation and fear, but having given up the majority of its intelligence, so it just ignored the feeling.
The boar then got ready to charge again and rushed towards the small, 1 meter tall, 3 year old, ninja girl. It struck her dead center in her abdomen and killed her.
At least that is what it imagined as when it had started its charge, Thea had already pierced both its eyes and brain with her two tentacles, quickly killing the boar. She stored the boar in her inventory and walked home slightly scared at how her mother would react towards her first act of disobedience.
