Titans of the Twilight

As far as Sylvester knew, the ancient Buddha Sect started the practice of fusing souls with the power of fate. This sect was a long-lasting hegemonic power of the God Domain. The Founder of the Buddha Sect was also the founding leader of one of humanity's first clans, the Battle-Saint Clan!

He had hoped desperately that this being was telling jokes. But he knew it was the truth. In the first place, if such a being had evil intentions or temperament, wouldn't it be simple to refine his soul and extract the memories? The prince's grandfather had told him of such miraculous and devious things during the early days of his youth.

This man was a member of the ancient Titan Clan of the heavenly slaughter race! The name of their race had the word "slaughter" in it. The law tattoos all over this titan's body were a visible indication of his origin, as only the royal Titan Clan members would have such style.

The legendary labors of twilight. A privilege for twilight vessels.

The heavenly slaughter race was one of the twelve primordial races from antiquity, or in other words, one of the first twelve races to ever exist in this universe, just like his mother's clan! The hero race only exists due to the primordial races losing their power and copulating with each other.

As for a figure that still held his primordial power?

The Skyfall flame may protect his soul, but Sylvester didn't believe it was strong enough to stop a titan if he genuinely wanted to destroy the former.

"Your ancient blood is indeed the reason we may converse," said T'Zhanè, looking amused as he read Sylvester's thoughts. "Your soul has a lineage stamp. No matter what form you are born in, you will always remain royalty with the same lineage. That means your heritage is truly extraordinary."

"I don't get it," exclaimed Sylvester. "Why would you, a heaven slaughterer, be here in the hero race's Samsara River?"

T'Zhanè raised his brows, as he did not expect this being to know his current location.

"I will be frank. I practice the Cosmic Vision Scripture. Thanks to my disaster vision, I have foreseen that whatever event occurs in this river of time connects to the destiny of my clan. It led me to sift through this place for the past thousand years. Ten days ago, a golden light was ejected from this realm and was captured by the supreme Samsara Fate laws in chaotic space, redirecting it to a planet in an underdeveloped galaxy of the lower realms.

"Ejected, just as you were about to be, when I destabilized this spatial zone. I assume this is the kin you search for. You are truly an amazing pair."

T'Zhanè's words caused a shockwave to hit Sylvester's heart.

Had Xavier made it out already? How strange…

Then, leaving through this method was necessary, and he had to let the titan take him to that planet! He had been successfully suckered. How could he return without his punk baby brother after watching the boy give his life away for himself?

"You are a brilliant youth. Without asking me anything, you understand much already. Now tell me," said T'Zhanè calmly and without arrogance befitting his advantage, "I know that a disaster is approaching my people. What information are you able to offer me about this?"

A disastrous event involving the ancient Titans? Thought the prince, as he willed Skyfall to cover his spiritual body in a barrier, preventing his thoughts from being free lunch. Indeed, he's referring to their imprisonment by the Sky Nova because of their ambitions to conquer the legendary realm, becoming the rulers of the entire Divine Universe. But if I tell him about this, won't that change every aspect of history? If the Titans survive and become truth rulers, will that really be good?

Of course, Sylvester had no idea his understanding of history and ancient races was terrible. He never paid attention to history classes at all. Only when his bloodline was involved would he participate attentively.

The legendary domain's natural laws were at least 1,000 times denser than the lower domain. This resulted in a much more robust society. Any life that formed there would be extraordinary in comparison. Sylvester's ancestors had once told him that the ancient Titan Clan was the leading clan of the heavenly slaughter race.

Their might was excessive and oppressive.

They created a system of power that allowed the entire race to become experts of various classes. Unfortunately, these creatures had evil ambitions to dominate every other antiquity clan descendant and the capital to do it.

This capital was the terrifying twilight power.

With the mysterious twilight power, Great Pharaoh Heavenly Slaughter was able to equip his entire race with a class system that turned them into unstoppable fighting machines. There were initially twelve primordial races from antiquity, but the Heavenly Slaughter race slaughtered or enslaved seven of those races before they were stopped.

In Sylvester's era, there were only five antiquity races left alive! The rest had been killed to nearly the last man, although some remnants may be hidden in different corners of the vast universe.

However, not soon after the heavenly slaughter race had begun its conquest, the legendary Sky Nova race of the God Domain made its third appearance in history. They shook the entire Legendary Domain by decimating the entire heavenly slaughter race. They made the heavenly slaughter race surrender before banishing the souls of all remaining ancient Titan Clan members, whom they had no method to kill completely.

Thanks to Twilight's power, killing Titans permanently was unreasonably difficult.

Those beings possessed truly undying bodies. They were known as champions with immortal souls. They could die once after reaching a certain formula layer and still be reborn at a Twilight Temple. This was a complete reconstruction! It would be as if they never died. They would only lose a portion of their formulation, depending on when they last visited the temple.

Ancestor Titans were virtually invulnerable, with more life force than Draco Volos. Their top experts could live for billions of years before a decline. Nothing penetrated their physical or mental bodies. Sky Nova, said to predate the universe, separated souls from their bodies and imprisoned all peak Titans separately. Sylvester had no way of knowing if this was true.

Sylvester considered for a moment more and then retracted his nirvanic flame to allow the giant to see his inner thoughts. Immediately following the withdrawal of the blaze,  T'Zhanè's body shook, his face paling sheet white. It was as if he had just seen the most horrifying event possible.
