Red Wind

Only Saints following righteous or orthodox paths would be respected as 'humble.' As a Saint who focused on the evil path, or the Sinner Path, Trevor Graves was the worst type of scum. Charlotte didn't bother responding with words and instead slashed out with her skymantle.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Replacing his hood, Trevor frowned deeply. though it couldn't be seen through the golden light shrouding his face.

Trevor's arms trembled with the strain of each exchange he had with Charlotte. Despite making all efforts to gain an edge, this woman was far too strong, and her skill level was frighteningly high. Every impact between them erupted like thunder as they used every ounce of strength to unleash a flurry of strikes that were almost powerful enough to shatter the planet! The weight of each attack was measured in brutal tens of AP!

This didn't match the reports on House Trillwolf's collective might at all.

Trevor felt he should have waited a while before capturing her previously, and the harvest would have been much more significant. She slipped away before he could drain her most private hole. Well, he had fun with the rest, anyway.

Trevor continued to clash against Charlotte while he spoke out, "Are you so dismissive towards your former husband? We were once one, you know."

"All you ever fused with is the same ass that you can kiss!" Roared Charlotte with madness.

With those words, Trevor seemed to have crossed Charlotte's bottom line. She completely snapped and attacked berserkly with her halberd skymantle.

"I have never given myself to you, and today you will die, you filthy bastard!" screamed Charlottle as scarlet forces surrounded her.

"Tch, you're just a lost clone who believes herself to be my loyal kitten," Trevor made a tooth-sucking sound as he lamented the failure of this mission. Charlotte was momentarily distracted by these seemingly outrageous words when Trevor vanished and reappeared in the distance, holding his messaging crystal. "This mission is busted. We'll have to try another method."

Trevor sensed a certain familiar force signature, and he quickly produced a black crystal from his spatial ring and crushed it as soon as it appeared. The next thing Charlotte knew, spatial laws radiated outward, and Trevor was teleported away instantly.

"Coward!" screamed Charlotte Slaughter.

She knew Trevor had just been toying with her, but she still felt totally peeved that he escaped so easily. Turning to the black-robed man a couple of hundred meters away, Charlotte smirked evilly. She couldn't possibly kill Trevor, but what about his puppet?

Two brutal battles occurred in the skies above the House Shu estate grounds. Meanwhile, Jody was holding on for dear life to the Winter Spirit Wolf, who ran at insane speeds.

"How could she be so sure I would even be able to endure this?" He grimaced because of the powerful shock waves combining from the fights above and the heavy wind pressure. He felt the threat of death from these shock waves.

"Don't worry, young master, Chucky will protect the young master!" Chucky the Winter Spirit Wolf barked at Jody a few times. It took Jody a few shocked seconds to realize he could understand this origin beast's barks completely.

"I can talk to Spirit Wolves?" Jody marveled.

Chucky clearly barked just now, yet Jody comprehended it perfectly. It wasn't like this with other animals. Has he always been able to do this? Why hadn't he noticed? He was always around spirit wolves. Isn't his mother's Wind Spirit Wolf Synergy rude in that case? She never once spoke to Jody.

A serene energy barrier suddenly covered him, and he no longer felt as threatened by the terrible shock waves.

Whatever was going on today, Jody became aware of one thing. Forces were targeting him with a strength that he couldn't even fathom, and they didn't want to simply tickle him. Without Charlotte's quick thinking and efficient actions, Jody would likely have been kidnapped. He was worried about Charlotte. Could she face those foes all alone? Jody simply had no clue how prominent these people were, and he couldn't gauge it at all.

Then again, he had no idea how powerful Charlotte was either. But how powerful could a young lady like her be? Jody suddenly remembered Selma's words to Charlotte about not seeing her in decades...

"Josiah!"

Jody was pulled from his thoughts by his father's bellowing voice that seemed to shake the entire estate with its majestic might.

"Pops, I'm here!" screamed Jody at the top of his lungs.

His father had told him previously that if Jody could hear the former's voice, then Osiris would also be able to hear the latter. Sure enough, in mere seconds, the Winter Spirit Wolf slowed to a stop before bowing deeply. Osiris Trillwolf appeared in front of Jody like a wind ghost. He looked fierce and enraged.

As Osiris lifted his son into his embrace, the latter felt touched.

"Ke Si," said the House Lord coldly after arriving at his son's side.

As Jody heard a soft bell chime behind himself, he simply looked at his father, whose face softened just a little when speaking to him, "Little Joe, go home. It's too risky to have you here. You'll be safe with your mother."

Osiris placed his finger on Jody's forehead, and the boy instantly lost consciousness. The House Lord looked toward Charlotte's fight before speaking to his butler, "Take him. Keep him healthy, my friend. Tell Isis that I'll have to apologize to Niagara. Today, it seems I must erase the House of Shu."

"Yes, milord." Ke carefully took the third young lord in his arms before disappearing into Osiris' shadow.

"Hmph," Osiris' eyes radiated a deep, chilly crimson sagelight.

He fixed his gaze upon the looming Lord of House Shu's manor, its white guard walls flanked by an army of imposing Anubis statues, their lifeless eyes aglow with ancient secrets in hieroglyphic script. In a sudden burst of motion, Osiris' body surged to ten times its original size, and thick red fur coated his powerful torso. Four magnificent wings of blazing wind mana stretched forth from his back, each an incarnation of unstoppable might.

That's right, mana and not rukh!

Osiris operated the strength of his original combat soul and actually produced a torrent of magic force! He could wield dual primary forces! Then, Osiris seemed to explode into action.

Lord Trillwolf vanished in a flash and appeared above the Lord of House Shu's manor like the wrath of some vengeful god. An aura as large as his shadow poured from him, enveloping the stone building like a tidal wave.

The Mages inside the hall felt a powerful force pressing down on them, and when they ran outside, the sight that awaited them held their breath. Above them was a ferocious, intimidating beast that made them fearfully hesitate. Yet, as they looked upon it closer, something stirred within them - an unfamiliar feeling of awe.

"House of Shu, you have sinned against my House and my family. Do you admit your crimes?" Lord Osiris demanded imperiously from 300 meters above, a red tempest raging around him.

His voice covered the entire estate, terrifying the nobles of the House. The pressure from his body made it feel like the entire sky would soon crash. Silently, tremendous amounts of mana gathered into an enormous quad-layered magic circle made of red wind in the sky behind Osiris. As Rukh Marks startled to crawl into the magic circle, its corrupted power rising unstably!

"Lord Trillwolf, how dare you!"

"We already said we would no longer do business with you. Do you want to be killed?"

"Activate the Wild Waves Brutal Shark Formation, now! Get ready to attack."

The elders of House Shu immediately composed themselves upon hearing the familiar voice of Osiris Trillwolf. They didn't know what taboo art he used to transform in such a terrifying way, but they believed the House's defensive array could kill this intruder. They had all seen the detailed reports on his strengths and weaknesses. The honored elders all took key positions on the mana nexuses of the House's grand defensive formation.

"House Lord, awaiting your orders!" one of the Honored Elders called out to their leader.

However, he discovered the usually fearless Kemu Shu was currently standing at the temple entrance, frozen in terror. His gaze was fixed on the corrupted magic circle forming behind Lord Trillwolf. It seemed of those present, only House Lord Shu, as a Prism Mage, realized the terror of that corrupted circle. Likely, the other elders could not even sense it as Osiris had hidden his skyland phenomenon.

"Leg-Legend…he's a legend..." Kemu Shu stammered, unable to mask the fear on his face.

How could Lord Trillwolf possibly be this powerful? It was madness.

"Stay your hand!" Sky blue sagelight shot into the air from deep within the estate near Lake Nicaea as two figures appeared before the Wild Waves Brutal Shark formation.

They were both middle-aged men with impressive auras but were like two rabbits before the monstrous Lord Trillwolf. The more powerful of the two grand elders spoke pleadingly, "Lord Trillwolf… no. Your honor, Legendary Trillwolf. Please, quell your anger. There must be a peaceful explanation to all of this."

Down in the House Shu estate, the Five Element Wolf Pack had already reunited with their Spirit Wolves and escaped the premises with the panicking disciples. Sensing this, Lord Trillwolf lost the last of his reservations.

"If you truly wish to act ignorant, then you will die ignorant fools. I gave you a chance."

Osiris's voice booms with ferocity, commanding the very elements to twist and contort into a red tempest. A monstrous wind wolf materializes from the maelstrom's heart with bared fangs and maniacal eyes. The grand elders are paralyzed by its crushing pressure, unable to move or even catch their breath. The grand elders frantically activate their defensive treasures to no avail. The wolfy maelstrom rips through their barriers like flimsy paper before piercing their hearts with its deadly claws and tearing them apart, leaving no trace behind but bloodied shreds of flesh.

The wolf-shaped storm howls in triumph as it devours their souls, leaving nothing but twisted corpses in its wake.

"FATHER!" Kemu shouted in despair and anger.

The Wild Waves Brutal Shark Formation was now firmly in his grasp, and he sent a surge of mana into its core. Suddenly, like a missile launched from a cannon, a twenty-meter-tall ice shark burst forth from the formation, aiming straight for Osiris. While part of him was eager to show off his new power, another part wanted to back down and rethink such an aggressive move.

"A pity," Osiris raised his hand casually as the quad-layered hex circle lit up with sinister crimson light.

Kemu's eyes widened in abject horror, having only just now remembered the terrible eight-star corrupted spell above Osiris. This was a level of power that only Magus Legends or greater should have been capable of producing. Just when Kemu decided to surrender, Osiris' rukh and mana exploded as he activated the hex.

"Unbounded Hell's Red Wind!"

A titanic maelstrom of crimson winds sharper than a thousand blades engulfed the House Shu, pulverizing anything in its wake. The gale warped the shrieks of terror and agony into a grisly symphony of death, echoing through the world like an omen of despair.

In the distance, Charlotte Slaughter seemed to fall into an enlightened state as she watched the scene unfold. Seconds later, Osiris had returned to his normal size as he appeared in a gust and landed among the Five Element Wolf Pack. His chest was bare, and his aura heroic, although his face was slightly paler than usual.

"My lord…" Elder Fontaine was completely stunned at the lord's decisiveness. "Nothing will be left of house Shu after attacking with an eight-star hex. Even the land will be unassailable by anyone who doesn't have your blessing for the next thousand years. Won't the White Demon learn of your strength?"

"To ally with my nemesis is to become my nemesis! They condemned themselves to death. Let this be a lesson for any who wish to cooperate with the White Demon Temple," Osiris spat disdainfully. His teeth were still sharper than steel blades as he gnashed them, "Besides, revealing this level of strength is of no consequence. He is far more powerful than this. Maybe even stronger than I could defeat in direct confrontation."

"It is not safe to stay here, milord. Let us depart!" Fire-First Mercer said as he rode his Spirit Wolf up to Osiris.

"Indeed. Let's move!"
