Part 91: Feelings or Work?

Tuesday morning arrived and she was wide awake by the time the sun made its presence known. She had washed her hair, blowdried, and straightened it by the time the clock hit 7 am, after checking her schedule she decided she had enough time to eat breakfast at the cafe and properly greet Ms. Johnson as the previous day she was a zombie to the outside world.

Upon entering the cafe the mouth-watering aroma of coffee and blueberry muffins was wafting through the air. Most of the tables were occupied except for a select few and fortunately, her favorite table was available. Quickly she made her way to the counter to place her order and pay before someone could take her table.

"Good morning dear, you look so refreshed. Feeling better?" Ms. Johnson was quick to take in her appearance.

"Good morning and yes I feel well-rested and filled with life," Alison smiled.
