Part 83: Tomorrow

It was Saturday morning and Alison couldn't help but sigh as she sat on the porch swing with a cup of black tea cradled in her hands. The previous night had been a success, she made the decision of her life, and together as a family, they celebrated with food and laughter.

After their guests had said their goodbyes and gone their separate ways Leo hugged Alison one last time before saying good night and retreating to his own room leaving Alison and Dean in the living room each with a slice of apple pie.

"So are you ready for what's to come?" Dean asked.

"Not as yet but I know I will be."

"Then I guess we know what comes next," Dean said as he stood with his empty plate.

"What comes next?"

"The hard work of course now we have to prepare and get ready." Dean smiled as he held out his hand for her, "Will you join me?"

Alison laughed, "I'm in too deep to turn around now."
