Chapter 6: Rock Them Up

Langress and Arenyx went deep inside and sat down at an empty table and ordered some whiskey to drink. Surrounded by the noise of kpop disco music, Langress wearily said:

"What kind of music is this?"

Arenyx replied:

"Kpop of Korea, it's BTS music."

Langress said:

"What? The brats who are singing this must have no taste in music."

Arenyx replied:

"How are you old-fashioned?"

Langress drank and said:

"Where's your man?"

Arenyx replied:

"They're here, probably looking for someone in the Predator."

Langress said:

"Then tell them to hurry, I don't want to listen to this music anymore."

A moment later, a man in a suit sat down at Langress and Arenyx's table, next to him were five bodyguards standing around. The stranger said slyly:

"Hello sir, I'm Luca Benquimost the owner of the Bloody Lady bar. You look like a newcomer here."

Arenyx replied:

"That's right. It's grateful to be greeted by the owner."

Luca said:

"You guys look so strange, didn't you enjoy the party?"

Arenyx replied:

"Yeah, we're waiting for some friends to come over."

Luca said calmly:

"Is it these people?"

Luca showed them pictures of two of Arenyx's soldiers being killed on his phone. Arenyx startled and was about to draw his gun, but Luca's five bodyguards soon pointed their guns at him. Langress said:

"Calm down, they outnumber us."

Arenyx sat down and replied:

"You're the most aggressive, why don't you attack now?"

Langress said:

"I need more information from him, I can't just attack."

Luca replied:

"This gentleman must be very knowledgeable. Bravo."

Langress raised a glass of whiskey in thanks. Arenyx said in rage:

"What do you want?"

Luca replied:

"I know you want information from the Predator faction and we have it. But what we want is a trade, information for information."

Arenyx said:

"So what are the lives of my two soldiers?"

Luca replied:

"Oh, they're disgusting. Calling themselves Heroic faction but nothing heroic, they injured one of my strippers so we had to deal with them. And now, shall we give it trade?"

Arenyx said suspiciously:

"What do you want?"

Luca replied:

"I need information on the werewolf prince, Josh Lymcan. He's being hunted across the country by his own brother, the werewolf king Robzin Lymcan. Having even the tiniest bit of information on him is all very important."

Arenyx said:

"The wanted werewolf prince? Sounds interesting, what happened?"

Luca replied:

"I heard that the former werewolf king was murdered by the prince himself. So the whole kingdom is hunting for him to punish him."

Arenyx said:

"What do you need him for?"

Luca replied:

"Give him over to the Predator faction, and I'll make sure we get more customers and more blood. All for the sake of business."

Langress said:

"But the point is, we don't have any information on that prince. And if we find him and hand him over to you, it won't work. The Predators have added an army of werewolves, maybe the new king has allied with the Predator faction. I will need that prince to stop the new king."

Luca replied:

"But we have precious Predator information, don't want to exchange it?"

Arenyx said:

"But how can we be sure that information is important?"

Luca replied:

"So let me tell you, all of Insider's bars are more or less filled with Predator vampires. Are the sources confirmed? They say everything when drunk from work, their plan, even the smallest, I have heard and written all in my notebook. A classic way of getting information."

Langress said:

"So you said you wanted that werewolf prince?"

Luke replied:

"Yes, and you'll get what you want. Like the Predator camp, for example."

Langress smiled excitedly and said:

"Okay then, I don't have any information about the prince right now, but I will bring him to you. The deal is done."

Luke replied happily:

"Fabulous! Looks like we've got a deal."

Arenyx whispered to Langress:

"You said earlier that you would need the prince."

Langress replied:

"Not anymore, he's the one we're after. I'd do anything to get the Predator's place."

Luca said:

"And lastly, I'd like to have a word with you. Mr. Langress Mcloucht, The World's Strongest Hybrid."

Langress replied sounding surprised:

"You know my name? Seems like no need for introductions."

Luca said:

"You're getting very popular, Mr. Langress. All vampires know that the strongest vampire hunter has returned. So may I touch your bloody hand."

Langress replied:

"All right."

Langress held out her left hand to Luca, he quickly grabbed it and stared at it like a treasure. Luca said:

"This hand has killed thousands of vampires mercilessly, have you ever felt remorse?"

Langress replied:

"Never, I know what I kill. Just some scums."

Luca said calmly:

"So have you ever paid the price for your arrogance?"

Langress was a bit taken aback, he said in confusion:

"What does that mean? I'm arrogant and confident because I'm really strong, there's no price to pay."

Luca replied sarcastically:

"So how did you feel when you lost against The Betrayer? Betrayed by your own teammate, old brother, whom you trusted so much. It hurts, isn't it?"

Langress became angry and attempted to charge forward and the bodyguard pointed a gun at him. Langress said angrily:

"How do you know such things? What do you intend to do with my mind?"

Luca replied calmly:

"I'm a spiritual vampire, I know everything in your head."

Suddenly a vampire came from behind and stabbed Luca, but Langress immediately threw the knife and killed him. That vampire had a tattoo of the Predator faction, the other Predator vampires also stood up to prepare to kill. People became frantic and ran out of the bar. Luca said aristocratic:

"Well then, our deal is accepted. Do your job and I'll tell you the location of the Predator's base."

Langress replied:

"Will we meet again then?"

Luca said:

"Of course, take this as a gift for this deal. Then we'll see each other again."

Luca threw Langress a USB stick, which Langress grabbed and said:

"Next time don't use psychic tricks, I don't like anyone going into my head."

Luca smirked and replied:

"Hahaha, see you guys next time."

Luca walked aristocratic and with bodyguards left the Bloody Lady bar by a private elevator. Langress put the USB in the inside pocket of his jacket and said:

"It's time to fight, I really want to kill some people."

Arenyx replied:

"You always bring us a lot of trouble."

The Predator vampires grew claws and growled at Langress and Arenyx. Langress waved fingers back to mock the enemy rush here and say:

"Come here if you want my blood."

The vampires roared and charged. Langress immediately pressed the button to pull out the sword and Arenyx immediately pulled out dual desert eagle pistols. The two attackers were shot in the head by Arenyx and Langress swung his sword to deal with the one sneaking in from the left. The battle took place in chaos. Langress said:

"Don't call me for help, I don't like people getting in my way."

Langress jumped onto the dance floor and was surrounded by many vampires. Arenyx said angrily:

"Do I look like I need help?"

Arenyx fired bullets at the vampires that attacked him but they kept dodging and crawling on the ceiling and floor. A vampire lunged at Langress but he stabbed him in the stomach and slashed him in half. His guts and blood were all over the dance floor. Three men attacked at once from three sides, but Langress quickly grabbed one by the neck and threw him at the second. The third man was grabbed by Langress and lifted him up. Langress was disturbed by the music and had a headache, he said angrily:

"This fucking music thing."

Langress threw a third name that broke the DJ machine, it crashed, so it changed to a rock song called Devil Never Cry by Tetsuya Shibata. Langress enjoyed the song's vibrant melody, he shook his head to the music and said excitedly:

"Yeah, that's the music."

The remaining vampires charged forward, Langress quickly jumping high to dodge all of them. He landed on the ground and crushed the heads of two men. Their brains and eyes flew everywhere. Langress was pushed hard by a vampire on the DJ machine, causing it to crash and turn off the music. Angry Langress said:

"Hey, that's my new favorite song."

Langress immediately splashed holy water on the vampire's face, melting him. Langress continued to throw a few knives down a few more men and said:

"Predator vampire for a century and still this weak?"

One confidently replied:

"Not yet."

He pumped himself some strange liquid and slowly his body transformed. That vampire transformed into a mutant vampire with a huge body and a long, thorny right arm like a mace. Langress said in surprise:

"Well, that shit is new."

The vampire lunged forward and swung his mace at Langress. He immediately jumped up and many people running were killed by that vampire. Langress kicked him in the face but did nothing. The vampire swung his mace hard at Langress and slammed him into the wall. Arenyx looked at Langress and said:

"This idiot, has he ever faced off against a mutant vampire?"

The other vampires rushed to attack Arenyx while the mutant vampire continued to confront Langress. Arenyx pulled out his mp5k submachine gun and opened fire on the enemy. Langress stood up and said:

"Now that's what a vampire is, but..."

Langress put on brass knuckles and dashed towards the mutant vampire. He threw a mace at Langress but he jumped to dodge and punched him repeatedly in the face. The face of the mutant vampire was imprinted and burned by the cross. Langress quickly grabbed his neck and tore his head and spine. Blood spurted out, soaking Langress's face, hair, and shirt. Langress threw the vampire's head down and said arrogantly:

"You've never been able to confront me."

Langress smashed the vampire's face like smashing a cake. The others were so scared that they immediately ran away, and Arenyx angrily said to them:

"Hey what's wrong, too afraid?!"

Langress put the brass knuckles in his pocket and said:

"So this is all?"

Arenyx replied:

"Maybe. Hey, your hair's covered in blood."

Langress said:

"Oh yeah, this is normal for me."

Langress took a towel to wipe his face, he said:

"Luca gave me this, I don't know what for?"

Langress was about to take out the USB when suddenly a spear rushed forward and pierced his chest. He stepped back and said:

"Who is?"

Lancerlord's assassin was waiting and immediately launched at Langress. That person kicked Arenyx to the floor and thrust his spear deeper into Langress's chest. Langress spat blood, he said angrily:

"You think it's easy to assassinate me?!"

Langress pulled the spear deep into him and punched the assassin. He jumped to dodge and swung his dagger at Langress's head. He immediately raised his hand to the block, the dagger slashing through Langress's hand and almost hitting his head. Langress said:

"Just a little more and you'll hit my skull, you're pretty good."

Arenyx pulled out dual guns and opened fire on the assassin. He immediately dodged and pulled the dagger out of Langress's hand and threw it into Arenyx's hand, causing him to drop his gun. Langress grows claws and claws hard at the assassin but misses his cloak. The assassin's cloak was torn and revealed to be a female assassin with pink hair. Langress and her glared at each other. Langress pulled the spear out of him and swung it at the female assassin. She lightly dodged like a cloud and punched Langress in the face. Langress said:

"Oh come on."

Langress fell to the floor next to Arenyx, he said:

"Damn it."

Langress's wound heals quickly, he mocked the assassin:

"Looks like you need to try again. I can't die because my recovery is ten times faster."

The female assassin picked up her spear and replied:

"Yes, you are the toughest target I've ever met. Lord Lancerlord paid a lot to kill you."

Langress said:

"Oh of course, it's always Lancerlord."

Langress stood up and continued:

"Tell him he'll need more than an assassin to kill me."

The female assassin replied:

"Just me is enough."

Langress said excitedly:

"Then let's go, I don't hesitate to hit women."

The female assassin replied:

"I can't kill you now, next time I will. Goodbye and see you again."

The female assassin left, Langress said calmly:

"Well then, see you again. Arenyx let's go."

Arenyx still a little sore, he wearily replied:

"Hey, wait."

Langress and Arenyx return to base and give the USB to Bryant. Inside the USB were the locations of all Luca's bars. Bryant said sounding disappointed:

"What is this? The location of all of Luca's bars, what does he want us to know these bars for? And how the hell are you guys messing with a bar, killing ten people and making cops discovered the bar of the underworld!"

Arenyx replied:

"It's Langress boss, he messes everything up."

Langress smiled and said:

"So what? Now that I have Luca's help, I have an agreement to know the location of the Predator faction base. At least much faster than you guys. Now the important thing is to find that werewolf prince."

Bryant pissed off and said angry:

"If you weren't Langress Mcloucht, I would never have let you use the Heroic faction as a shield to do many things on your own."

Langress shrugged and replied:

"I joined the New Hope faction at first just as a mercenary, I don't like taking orders from anyone because they just slow me down."

Langress left and thought to himself:

"I have another werewolf to hunt."

Bryant and Arenyx were powerless against Langress's extravagance. Bryant said:

"Can't you manage him?"

Arenyx replied:

"Impossible, he never listens to anyone and always does his own thing. Father Jonathan also advises Langress but he does very little as he says. It is impossible to manage an arrogant person like that."

Bryant said:

"I know, I know. Without Langress it's going to be harder for us. But we have to find a way to curb Langress's extravagance, or else more trouble will come."

Arenyx replied:

"Yes Boss."

Arenyx left Bryant's room and continued his work. Lancerlord's female assassin was observing outside the Heroic faction base, she thought to herself:

"Where's that idiot Langress? He doesn't want to hunt anymore?"

Suddenly there was a call, she picked up the phone and called:

"Lord Lancerlord, it's me."

Lancerlord replied:

"Emma Overheat, how's the mission?"

Emma said:

"I'm still going, sir. But Langress is hard to handle."

Lancerlord replied:

"Emma, ​​I've always believed that you are my best assassin, don't let me down. You must by all means kill Langress or at least weaken him. Got it?"

Emma said:

"Yes sir."

Lancerlord replied:

"Langress is a very powerfull Hybrid, no matter how you knock him down or torture him, he will always rise to kill everything like an animal. Good luck Emma."

Lancerlord turned off the phone and Emma continued her mission. The first hunting day was over.
