Battle royal - Chapter 1
Johan gave a sign to the two classmates sparring that it was going to become a battle royal. He allowed others from the class to enter too. It went from two sparring to a full-class battle royal.
Johan placed barriers around the field with magic. Inside the barrier, there were some rules, Johan, no one can get killed. Daggers and knives aren't allowed, but wooden weapons are. If you get hurt too much, you become eliminated meaning Johan will drag you out. The last one standing wins.
The battle royal has already started. Klaus is in the middle with the two others who were just sparring. The others began fighting, some used magic. Without warning Klaus went into a stance, holding his hands in front of his chin, crossing each other, while pulling his chin inside to his throat. Since Klaus entered a state where one's desires control you, he has no idea what is happening, instincts and his subconscious have taken over. Johan is mostly focused on Klaus in this battle royal, the guy who said he never practiced martial arts, and who is using a CQC stance. Klaus is in a defensive stance, his instincts waiting for the right time to strike. They ignored Klaus and started to continue their fight. Klaus' desire, instinct, and subconscious acted, those three parts of him did not want to wait anymore, so he sneakily went behind the lean guy. His instincts told his body, that the lean guy was more dangerous than anyone here, so Klaus' body began to fight like a snake, no not like a snake but like someone else. His body started to strike the guy, but he blocked it. The other guy took the chance to relax his body, while they were fighting. Johan looking over Klaus, uses a CQC defensive stance, but he is fighting similar to the martial arts known as Jeet kune do, targeting the other guy's temple, solar plexus, and the liver. The more Klaus fought the faster and more destructive he became. Johan is amazed, he examines and analyzes Klaus's body, his body is well formed, nothing wrong with his joints, and the only bad thing about him is his mana pool.
The first one out is the lean guy, Johan brings him out. "Good fight Nash, you did well." He said to his student, with a smile. He gives Nash a pill that recovers injuries, but the fatigue is still there, so Nash needs rest. "What's wrong with him? When I fought against him, it was like he was a wild animal." Said Nash. Nash is confused about what happened. Johan looks at him, "To be honest I'm not sure myself, but it seems like his desires and instincts have taken over." Johan is surprised and confused about what is going on with Klaus.
Johan looks at the buff guy, wondering if Lance can put up a fight, he was already exhausted when he fought Nash. Klaus is in front of Lance, ready to fight him, but unexpectedly Lance forfeits the match, he knows that he can't fight properly in the state he is in. Klaus' instincts and desires couldn't see that, so he started sucker-punching Lance, beating him up to a pulp, without Lance could do anything. Everyone is looking at how cruel Klaus is, sending a chill down everyone's spine. Klaus gets satisfaction from beating Lance up, he doesn't stop he just keeps on hitting and hitting. Johan rushes towards Klaus, pushing him away, but he is so focused on Lance, that he doesn't notice Klaus is already charging against him. But in the last second, he blocks it. Johan knows he can't control Klaus, because of that state he is in. So he decides to use magic, he paralyzes him with a lightning spell, knocking him out.
He gives the recovery pill to Lance in time, and he then puts Lance to sleep, so he can rest and get his fatigue back. He brings Klaus outside the barrier so he can rest too, he doesn't give him the pill since he hasn't gotten any injuries, since he was giving injuries to others. The battle royal ended. The one who won it all was a girl named Luna, she uses mostly ice spells and ice attribute magic, and her magic pool grade is third-tier, and her magic grade is second-tier. A very powerful student, it's normal for her to come on top. The listing goes like this.
