"You look so beautiful." "Your dress looks so perfect on you." "I can't believe how stunning the flowers are. I wish I do be the one to grab it next." "I am having such a lovely time here. This place looks so incredible." "You both look good together." Everyone said as they come one after the other and sometimes in a bunch. I tried my whole best to give out a brighter smile but I am a little bit unhappy because my dad hasn't arrived yet and I need him to hold my hand in and watch his daughter's hand one last time. I tried to call him several times but he was not picking up the call. " My angel, are you upset with dad because he is not there with you right now, please give me some time I'll be right there with you shortly," he said immediately after he picked up. "Not at all dad I'll be waiting for you patiently" I sighed in relief." bye dear" " bye dad."

(30 minutes later🕧)  

"Anna, you need to walk in right now we can't wait any longer," my close friend jane said in a hurry while helping me with my wedding dress. I got to the processional and stood there for some minutes. I took a deep breath and decided to walk alone to where my groom was standing waiting for me. "Why is her father not walking her in" " poor girl she has to walk in alone without her father" "what's taking her father so long" "poor girl, I feel so sad for her" I looked at everyone and their face was like they were mocking me but I tried to keep up my smile. suddenly, my friend screamed as I turned to look in her direction .she walked up to me" Anna, your father had an accident and he's in the hospital right now. I was shocked and couldn't believe my ears, my legs felt stiff for some minutes"Anna what are you still doing" my friend said hitting me on the back to bring me back to the real world. I took off my shoes immediately " Dad dad" I screamed as I rushed to the emergency room. Immediately I heard the Holter monitor sounding. I moved closer screaming to the doctors to do something about it" Mr. Anderson Robert passed away on the 29th of July 2021 at 12:39 pm due to excessive bleeding caused by a very deep injury on his neck, may his soul rest in perfect peace."

"Please doctor can't you find a solution to the problem," I said amidst tears" We tried our best but there's nothing we can do again he is gone. The doctor said as he ordered the nurse to cover him and move his corpse to the morgue...

(At the funeral)

        I cried my eyes out as I remembered my dad and how he encouraged me anytime I'm bad at my music. I prayed to God for the first time that the ground should open up and swallow me. people walked in and out to show their condolences I cried more as I was patted on the back before they left." Poor child, her data died on her wedding day" "I heard the father borrowed a lot of money from a loan shark " " how will she pay back his debt " "I also heard that he borrowed money from his bank and used his house as a collateral" "where will the poor girl live now? I asked Jane to help you pick your clothes so you can start your journey from here" he said as he handed me my box of clothes. I started crying as I walked out of the funeral, I didn't know what to do or where to go. I am alone in this world. my mom died of cancer when I was little. I cried my eye out as I walked to the bus station. I don't even know where to go. I entered the bus with no destination in mind. The bus started moving and I slept off. I woke up at the last bus stop and rubbed my eyes as I entered the neighborhood. it was still early I had a little bit of time to check for a cheap apartment to live in.

I later found an apartment to live in so I deposited the money and packed my box into it. When I settled down in the small apartment, I received a call from an unknown number"Hey where are you" a voice sounded from the other end of the phone" I don't know where I am and who are you to ask me that question" I replied the person" I am from the loan shark your father borrowed money from and we need our money" " sir my dad is dead and I only have a little cash on me" I don't care if you have a little amount of money on you but all we need is our money" " ok sir I'll send the money with me to you. please send your account details." okay, I'll send it but remember the interest is increasing by 40 percent, every day" he said as he ended the call. in a few minutes received a message and checked it. it was the loan shark and he sent his account details. I sent the money to him and kept some for feeding myself tomorrow.
