May I have this dance?

"Now I am digging my own grave" Leila yelled in her mind before slowly letting a sigh escape her lips.

Leila goes upstairs and knocks on Drew's door gently. Drew who was working with his laptop responded, "Who's there?"

"Open the door!" Leila said.

"What are you doing?" Leila asked as she entered the room.

"Just studying!" Drew replied.

Leila was about to say something when Drew spoke up, "Don't worry! I will try to get the money by this week".

Leila raised her gaze and asked, "From where?".

"I will take care of it" Drew muttered with trepidation.

"The man took back the complaint," Leila said nonchalantly making Drew's eyes narrow into slits.

"Is it true?" Drew asked emotionally.

"Yes. I talk with him and he listened to my request" Leila said with a huge smile.

"I'm sorry for troubling you," Drew said in a sincere tone.

"Behave nicely. Just focused on your studies" Leila squared her gaze at Drew with a lot of warnings in his eyes.

"Thank you," Drew said with a small smile. "I think...your Boss is generous" Drew's eyes lit up.

"Oh! He is a very generous person" Leila's lips twisted indifferently.

"Who is generous?" Bonie's voice came from the door.

Leila swiftly turned and replied, "My friend!".

"What happened to your hand?" Bonnie asked when her eyes fell on Drew's injured wrist.

Drew took a glance at Leila before he answered, "Ermm, nothing serious. I fell"

"Come to the hospital to check" Bonie advised with concern.

"Okay but I am fine," Drew said, gently waving her hand convincingly so he wouldn't look suspicious to Bonnie.

"Leila, Come and put some makeup on me," Bonnie said.

"Are you going somewhere?" Leila asked amusedly.

"Oh... Marriage reception. Ahhh...I just want to sleep" Bonie frowned deeply.

Crimean Hotel...

Five to seven men in business suits and shoes stood together with delicate glasses of wine, talking about stocks and companies smilingly.

"WoW! Our Candy friend Jackson finally got married. Congratulations!" Rubben clapped excitedly.

"Mr Nolen!" Jackson waved his hand to the man who was entering the door. Nicholas followed Jackson's gaze. A hint of something swept by the bottom of his eyes quietly. Then he took his eyes off instantly.

Nicholas did not like to take part in useless social activities. He avoided the crowd and stayed in a quiet corner.

"Mr Nicholas Wayne!"

A slightly ambiguous female voice reached him from far away. Nicholas followed the voice and looked at her with an indifferent expression.

"Why are you here?" Nicholas squinted at her coldly.

"Why? Is there any rule that I can't be here?" Tina took the champagne glass in her hand.

Nicholas with a stoic expression walked by her, totally ignoring her.

"Have you heard any weird rumours going around?" Tina grinned making Nicholas pause in his tracks, he turned to look at her.

"Miss Tina, Enjoy your drink" Nicholas looked as if his eyes would burn holes in Tina's body.

"Interesting!" Tina rolled her eyes with a mischievous smile.

Meanwhile, Nolen lit his cigarette and was standing in the open air far from the door. He took a puff and closed his eyes to relax. When he opened his eyes, he saw a familiar person standing in the corner.

Abandoning his cigarette, he walked towards her. "Doctor Bonie Green!"

"Yes..... "Bonnie caught her breath and looked at the man approaching her.

"Hello, Doctor Bonie" Nolen lips curved slightly as he took a complete look at her. Bonnie was wearing a red crystal, sleeveless dress making her look like a young goddess.

Nolen took a step closer to her, his gaze intensely focused on her, but Bonnie instinctively took a step back.

Nolen was again to take another step closer but paused abruptly when Bonie shouted, "Stop. Please don't come closer".

"What...?" Nolan was at a loss as he continued to stare at her.

Bonnie pursed her lips in embarrassment. She gave him a sideways glance. "Actually... My dress tore earlier... so, I.... "

A smile was spread out on Nolen's lips. He took off his brown-coloured jacket and put it around her shoulders.

"Thank you". The stiffness was forcibly removed as Bonie forced an even softer smile.

"What a coincidence! I didn't expect you here" Nolen said.

Bonnie pushed her hair behind her ear and replied, "Yes. I am a friend with Bride".

"Oh... Groom's Friend" Nolen shrugged. "Why are you standing here alone?" Nolen asked without thinking much.

"I... I-" Bonie gave a hesitant answer.

"Why don't we go inside?" Nolen quickly altered his question. He slapped himself for being stupid.

Bonnie took a look at the hall. Her face slightly changed. "Well... I don't know how to dance. So, I should stay here".

"May I have this dance?" Nolan asked in a gentlemanly manner.

"Oh no, I don't know how to dance" Bonie politely rejected.

"I am a good dancer and I wouldn't let you fall. So, Please" Nolan said soothingly. Bonnie looked around before she gave her hand hesitantly.
