#Chapter102 CLARA
Throughout the time we were in Samuel’s study, I couldn’t stop looking at him. I couldn’t stop recalling how his lips had felt on mine, how every touch had ignited something deep inside me that had ain dormant for so long now. I couldn’t focus on the very important conversation that was happening right in front of me. I could just focus on his face, the way he smiled and looked satisfied at Kyle’s acceptance of the ceremony. My eyes couldn’t help but take in all of him. His forearms, sharply veined and dusted with a smattering of hair his broad chest, his muscled legs, his long fingers, his presence. I needed to take control of my thoughts otherwise I would have embarrassed myself then. Samue’s eyes flicked towards me twice, his darkened eyes almost black, his Adams apple bobbing, as if he knew the direction of my thoughts and couldn’t wait to show me what he thought about it.
