~Prologue~

My friend Jim and I are so happy. We're finally graduating in high school. The ceremony will be held tomorrow and there will be a party afterwards at school.

Therefore, Jim and I decided to relax for the day. We went to the places we usually go to after school.

"Where do you plan to go after this?" I was surprised by Jim's sudden question.

"You mean after playing this game?"

"No, what I mean is, what place would you want to travel to? Since I'm certain that you'll not be leaving this town and will also go to the community college."

"Oh! Didn't your Mom told you that I've submitted an application to the school where she teaches?" I calmly stated.

"What?!" He yelled surprised.

"What do you mean what?" I asked, sipping on my milktea.

I quite sense Jim's sadness due to the fact that he will be left behind by his childhood friend, which is me. However, there's a glint in his eyes that shows he's mad at the situation. I move my eyes unto his jaw which was clenching and his hands formed into a fist. Ever since we've entered middle school there is something about him that changed.

Somehow he became more possessive. Though I've clearly put a line between us. Telling him that he would be my best friend forever. He still acts like boyfriend.

"Snap out of it Dude! I promise to visit you every class vacation." I told him while clasping his hand.

Jim pulled me into a hug and rest his head on my right shoulder. For several minutes he breath in my scent. But then to my surprise, he bit my neck. I instantly shove him, feeling displease at what he did.

"What the hell Jim?!"

"What's wrong Cleo? Didn't I tell you that you'll be mine no matter what?"

I can see an evil smirk plastered on his face. I felt scared, terrified to be exact. As blood gush out his bite mark. I run away from him, its what my instinct is telling me. I have no idea what was going on. Why would he force a bond?! I haven't met my wolf yet. Even if I have undergone the moon ritual to meet my wolf. Why would he do that?! I have a fated pair.

Looking back at him. Jim is not even moving, but I can sense some evil aura that surrounds him.

I run and run as far as I can, just to get away from him. Fortunately, I was able to get home. When my mother saw me, she was in shock.

"Why do you have a lot of blood?" My mother asked.

I only look at her and cried. Remembering what happened. I don't even really know where to start and how do I tell her that the Alpha's son bit me.

My father then lead me in to the sofa to sit down and try to relax. He quietly observe where was I bleeding. Dad gasp in disbelief.

"Who did this?!" Dad's tone filled with rage.

"I...I was in park...with Jim..a-and then he-he.." I stutter as I struggle to talk.

"Did Jim tried to mark you honey?" My mother cried and look into my eyes, as she try to look for an answer.

I deeply inhaled and gather my thoughts. However, before I could even speak, our door was knocked open and saw my older brother lying on the detached door.

"What is happening Alpha?!" My dad asked.

"Beta Greyson, did you know that you daughter seduced my son and forced him to mark her" Alpha Lucian contemptiously remarked. "You do know that a werewolf who hasn't done the moon ritual aren't allowed to bond. It is a grave sin to the Goddess, its the same as challenging her authority in provision of giving us a pair."

"Alpha Lucian, it seems to me that Beta Greyson's daughter desires power and authority within the pack. I can't believe you seduced the young Alpha just to obtain your desires." Gamma Mihael said.

"No! That's a lie. We all know I would never do that." I cried out in disbelief.

My mother was hugging me, while my Dad approach my brother Kira. He has a lot of bruises and seems to have lost a lot of blood due to a hole on his stomach. My brother was barely breathin'. He look into my eyes and mumble some incoherent words. Right after he's done mumbling, his heartbeat stopped. I didn't have the ability to hear my brother since I am not blessed by Goddess with a wolf spirit yet. I saw my dad wailing and shift into his wolf to fight the Alpha.

Some of the pack warriors were ordered by the Alpha to capture me and my mom. They immediately obey the Alpha's command. Before they could even get to us mom told me to run and save myself.

Mother shift into her greyish blue wolf. Its eyes are yellow. I break into a sob as I run further and deeper into the woods. Without rest I run 'til my soles gone numb. Suddenly I heard loud thuds behind me. As I look back, I saw a large reddish brown wolf chasing after me.

Although I tried my best to escape. It appears that my hope to successfully escape was false. I can never escape this hell. The brown wolf pinned me into the ground and bit my left shoulder. Thereafter, I lost consciousness.
