NEVER DOUBT GOD
It was morning when Kimberly started praying to God "Good morning, Lord! Today's a new day, a chance for a new start. Yesterday is gone and with it any regrets, mistakes, or failures I may have experienced. It's a good day to be glad and give thanks, and I do, Lord. Thank you for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all that you want me to be. Amen.
When she finished praying she glanced out the window, it was wonderful and Zebras out side Walking Kimberly thought of catching one and riding on it, but it was unnecessary, she threw a pen towards the zebra and it ran away, Kimberly was happy and started laughing with upon doing that, Kendal Came towards Kimberly " today we are going to see the president of Zambia Mr.. Hakainde Hichilema how do you feel ?" Kendal asked the friend she was just smiling and and looking at her saying nothing Kendal pitched her " what !" Kimberly responded, " why are you not answering me when an m speaking to you ?" Kendal, you know what !" an m going back to sleep " Kimberly " no! " " no!" I was just obsessed with nature, can't you see where an m looking right now an m sorry I know it's irritating but it's funny sometimes I want to play with you,"
Kendal giggled " I will always be with you in good and bad times remember I love you so much my Kim "
Kimberly's face went down and she looked sad " even though you are going to be with me in bad times, an m going to die soon I feel so sorry for myself God please help me I m just young and an m about to die any soon this Cancerous tumor is doing me badly you know " Kimberly started crying so much when Kendal heard this she shoved and nodded looked at her best friend " you know doubting God is the waste mistake a person can ever make on this world, I want you to trust in God only, let me remind you us people we can disappoint or even betray you but God can't he loves us every one equally and nothing can separate us from the love of God ." Kimberly " I know but why can't God just deliver me from this sickness ",
Kendal " you know nothing is impossible to God if you ask and he will deliver you from the sickness, you have a big problem ever since you had this sickness you keep limiting God let the Holy Spirit take control of you when you have received the holy Spirit no matter what problems you face, you will feel at ease that's the power of God, he is the King of Kings remember when we were Young you had taught me this and I kept it in my heart, don't let problems overpower you I have discovered one thing when you had this tumor you avoid being with people, you don't guide your heart anymore, you let the devil take control over you, let me remind you Kim if you follow your brain it is compromised with distraction but if you follow your heart it is certainly and perfect that's why having the holy Spirit is important in one's life, I edge you to follow God there is more than this to the world",
Kimberly " I know but I m having difficulties in terms of trusting God what should I do ?"
Kendal " accept God as your Lord and personal saviour have faith in him without faith you can't please God, you have to trust in him an m telling you the fact remember the story of Peter in the Bible when Jesus called Peter to walk on the water yes ! he was walking on the water but when he started doubting what happened ?" Kimberly answered " he started drowning,"
Kendal " yes !" when he was drowning did Jesus come and save him ?" Kimberly replied" no!"
Kendal " when peter shouted save me, Jesus came and grabbed his hands and helped him." that's what is happening to you Kim unless you shout help me that's when God will come and remove all your sickness in your life when I was smoking and drinking alcohol it never brought me joy it only bringing me more calamity, what do I mean by that?" It never used to satisfy me, how would drink feel good but the next morning back to normal remembering my problems, I realized that I only satisfied my flesh and not my soul and that's dangerous what I can tell you from today never doubt God, "
Kimberly" I know I pray every morning to God and give to people in need isn't that enough ?"
Kendal " it's not enough !" unless you stop doubting God," Kendal removed the phone from the pocket and started reading the Bible verse to Kimberly"John 20:24-29
24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus ), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.
25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"
27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it on my side. Stop doubting and believe."
28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
When she finished reading the Bible now you have heard from today be a good girl and trust in God, believe in him, and do not lean on your understanding, Kimberly was happy, she changed her mood and hugged her best friend " you know having a friend who always cares about you is good from today I will put God first in my life first and foremost, I will spend time with my family and Kendal went to bath.
