"That bitch!" A tall man with flowing, ebony hair sneered, his dark eyes narrowing with anger and his brow furrowing in frustration. This man was none other than Elaine's ex-boyfriend, Damien

The dimly lit bar buzzed with activity around him, the clinking of glasses and the murmur of conversations fading into the background as his emotions took center stage. 

He had called in with the intention of confronting her, hoping to rekindle a spark that had long since faded into ashes. Yet, she had ignored him, dismissing his effort with a cold indifference that made him angry.
