The examination was divided into two tests. The full body inspection, and the Five Element Affinity test.
The full body inspection will be done by having a grandmaster insert their Spiritual qi into his body to find and match any body type in the records.
As for the Five Element Affinity test, five Elemental orbs from each element; water, earth, wind, fire, and metal will be presented for him to hold. His affinity for the elements will be correspondingly graded depending on the level of light that was emitted.
"An Na, if you could please?" Peng Fan, asked the best medical expert they have.
An Na himself isn't a doctor, but an alchemist. As a rank 2 alchemist though, his medical knowledge surpassed everyone here.
All professions, no matter what they do, being a rank 1 means that you're acknowledged by the cultivators as a master of your craft. A rank 2 means that you're one of, if not the best one in the county.
"Senior An." He bowed. In reality, Peng Tian is quite nervous about this. Not because he doesn't have talent, but because he has already started cultivating, if it were to be known that a 5 year old is already at the 3rd stage of body refining, there won't be anyways for him to keep his secret anymore.
Luckily though, he had already prepared for this when he was in the womb.
[Minor Manual Adjustable Body]
Description: Having this body will allow the person to have control over their organs to a certain degree.
This wasn't actually something a normal human can have, actually, it's not something a normal organism can have.
[3% slime]
Yup, slime, the gooey little things you find in rpg games.
In fact, the last advantage he could wrestle out of the reincarnation process, and the reason a normal person like him was able to divide his soul into different parts in the first place was because of this.
[Penultimate Asexual Soul Reproduction]
A skill that only a slime can have, as for how he got it?
A story for another time.
Peng Tian was originally going to add more slime into his bloodline, but anymore and the immune system of his mother was gonna kick him out of the womb.
With this, he shouldn't have to worry about the body inspection, but he didn't know how much An Na is gonna be able to detect.
"Hm? This is?!"
The Peng family's faces were full of worry "What is it?"
An Na turn around and said "Congratulations, tian'er has a grade 2 body-"
"WOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Cheers erupted all around.
"Grade 2?!" Everybody was excited
Grade 2 or [Intermediate] by the status panel, means that one has the potential to reach the Nascent Soul realm.
Peng Fan grew emotional, he has a peak grade 1 body, so one of the biggest regrets in his life was that he probably won't be able to reach Nascent Soul in his lifetime.
"Grade 2 huh?" He muttered, tears could be seen leaking out of his eyes.
"HAHAHAHAHA!! A treasure indeed, no less from yu'er's son, no less from me, Peng Fan grandson! HAHAHA!"
From the moment his daughter was born, she has brought nothing but joy for him, every moment of his life is always spent on thinking about the wellbeing of his offsprings.
"Ai'er... our grandson is gonna be a great man, please watch over him..." flashes of pain can be seen in his eyes.
After the excitement subsides, Li Jun, the housekeeper led a handful of servants each holding an orb in their hands into the hall.
The first one was a Water Elemental Orb, Peng Tian put his hand on it.
The orb starts to shine blue lights. Everyone in the hall is an experienced master who knows what it meant.
'Grade 1 Water Affinity.'
Some slight disappointments can be seen in their eyes. Having a grade 1 Affinity was already amazing, but after seeing the grade 2 body, many couldn't help but be a little disappointed.
Peng Fan though, wasn't too disapointed. 'Grade 1 is fine too, this is normal, yu'er herself also have Grade 1 Water Affinity, probably got it from her, like mother like son.' He was satisfied.
As the test continues though...
The orbs continued to shine one by one
Earth.
Wind.
Fire.
And....Metal.
If what comes after the first one was cheers, the one that comes after this one was...
Slience.
Absolute slience.
"Doesn't this mean..." Someone muttered.
[Five Elemental Affinity Innate Body]
Let alone the surrounding counties, the number of people who have the Five Elemental Affinity in the whole Saint River Kingdom barely exceeded single digits.
Everybody turned to look at Peng Fan, as the number 1 expert of Greenland county, he understood the most what this signified.
'A peak grade 2 body..." Peng Fan stares at his own grandson.
'Maybe he can...' his mind faltered for a moment.
'No, I can't put that responsibility on him'
'Even if it cost this old dog's life, I won't leave it to my descendants to deal with you' his eyes shone with a hint of madness.
...
The examination was public, so the news spread quickly.
Black Breeze City, within Blood Eagle Alliance's main headquarters.
"Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!"
A man was receiving a report from his subordinate. His office desk was smashed down along with the floor. The subordinate reading the report was sent flying into the wall from the man's Spiritual qi.
"Why! Why! WHY!"
The man was the Black Breeze City lord and Blood Eagle Alliance's leader, Huan Jun, also known as the no.2 expert in greenland county.
"Come! Send the order, every city under our control are to gather their troops and attack River Wind City! Go kill the devil's spawn for me!" He called out to one of his subordinates inside the room.
The subordinate was clearly conflicted as he weakly said "Sir..."
"What!" He demanded.
"An order like that would require the consent of both the Head Elder and the Vice-leader, they'll never agree to it."
"Damn those old fossils!" Rage immediately erupted out of his face once more.
"Peng Fan! I swear! I will make you and your fucking offspring's life a living HELL!!"
...
After the examination ended, the Peng family had a little meeting.
All of the adults' eyes were sparkling.
"Ahem."
Even after 5 years, Peng Tian was still uncomfortable with having so many people treating him so well. But today he has a goal to accomplish.
"G-grandpa?"
"Yes?"
"Can I start cultivating now?"
Buzz!
Everybody's smile grew stiff.
A normal child usually starts cultivating at around 9 years old. Cultivation was a tedious and long process. Children his age usually haven't develop the mental strength to hardwork enough yet, and doing it haphazardly will result in a shaky foundation. Not only will this harm his growing body, it will also makes it harder for him to break through realms in the future..
"You sure, Tian'er? Cultivation isn't just reading you know, if you do it wrong, it hurts you know?." Said one of his uncles. The adults looked at each other, worried about ruining the future of this prodigy.
"I know, fourth uncle, But I still wanna try it." Determination on his face.
'Not only have I tried it, I've already been doing it for 5 years' he thought sercetly.
Peng Fan stared at him for a while before asking.
"Why? Why would you want to cultivate?"
"I-I heard that there's a lot of orphans in the world, many of their parents got-" Peng Tian glanced at them "-they got killed..."
Their faces turned ashen.
Dammit! Which bastard open their stinky mouth!
Peng Tian gaze seems to falter for a moment before hardening again "I-I'll do anything protect you guys"
Peng Biyu couldn't take it anymore and goes to hug her son, some bitter tears leaking out "You don't have to worry Tian'er, if anything happen, grandpa Fan will protect us."
Peng Fan couldn't help but ask "By the way, who taught you that stuff?" In the sweetest voice he could've mustered.
"U-um" Peng Tian looked around the room, and pointed at one of his uncles "It was Eldest Uncle who told me."
'Sorry, Uncle Mo.' He apologized in his heart.
Uncle Mo: Σ(▼□▼メ)
Three massive killing intents immediately locked onto him. 'PENG! MO!'
The innocent uncle Mo looks around for support, but the other fìve uncles all suddenly grew very interested in patterns of the floor tiles.
The uncles: (_ _)
"It's already getting late, let's get you to bed, sweete." Peng Biyu suddenly said.
"Ye-yes, mom." The sun hadn't even gone down yet, but Peng Tian obeyed obediently.
With the confused gaze staring at his back slowly turning into a pleading one, Peng Tian decided that it was really the time to go to bed.
...
That night, citizens of River Wind city heard a noise coming out of the city lord's mansion.
"I...did...not...do...it"
Rumors say that a wronged ghost was harboring grudges and was hoping for vengeance. Some say that the ghost was an ancestor of one of the servants, some say that it was a wandering ghost looking for a suitable successor. Nevertheless, the fact that it happened the day for the city lord's grandson's famed examination, the name 'Mystical prince' gradually became one of the most talked about topics in taverns and bars all over the city.
...
The dawn of the next morning...
'I can finally earn some money.'
Peng Tian was looking at the plie of specially selected cultivation methods for him in the study room.
One advantage of the Soul space was that they can exchange and store different types of information very easily. Unfortunately, while they have the [Cultivation manual for dummies], they basically didn't have any usable martial arts.
It wasn't that they didn't try to learn them in the womb, but most of the things their parents train in were either too high-level, or just not strong enough to be worth it in the long run.
The first thing he did was to insert a portion of his soul into each scroll to create a soul bond.

In the soul space...
Peng Tian was sitting in the area designated as the 'market', in front of him was a blanket with the 3 manuals he just got.
"Here, here, a grade 3 cultivator method, a grade 2 auxiliary skill, and last but not least, a grade 5 martial art."
In front of him was a crowd of people who didn't have anything to do, which was roughly around 70% of the population.
"How much for the cultivation method?" A buyer asked
"100 favor points." Peng Fan answered
At first, everybody was just helping each other out, but as time went on, more and more people started slacking off, so a system was created. Everybody will start off with 1000 favor points, with a total of 500,000 points in the system. What about the guy who died, you asked? He didn't hesitate to use them all, so there haven't been any points lost.
"That's too expensive!" The buyer frowns
"No bartering." Deadpan Peng Tian
Anybody who has any goods at this point basically has a monopoly over them. The Poor Kids faction originally objected to this system, but they were overruled.
Lesson learned today: Writing in the shower is terrifyingly effective.
