Becoming Katie's Male Bestie

While Travis was out, he went to a shop to buy some snacks. As he did so, he ran into Paul's girlfriend, Katie. Katie exudes radiance with her golden blonde hair gracefully falling to her shoulders. Her captivating eyes shine in a mesmerizing shade of blue, emanating warmth. Her elegantly defined figure showcases curves that complement her natural charm.

When she saw Travis, she smiled and walked up to him.

" Hey Travis! It's nice to see you," she happily said.

" Katie, yeah, it's nice to see you too. How have you been?"

" Alright, just normal day-to-day, school problems. How about you, how's home schooling even though you do it in your dorm?" She asked.

" Pretty peaceful I guess. Are you busy?"

" No, I'm just here to buy some stuff. I was gonna go to Paul later on but my plans are canceled for today."

' Just as I thought. Katie is very kind and mean. Very, very kind. I noticed that before when I once saw these two argue, she's quick to apologize even when the other person is wrong, you could call it maturity or being a pushover, but I see this as a way to get in. I have to put myself in her mind so that when Paul asks for us to fuck while he watches, he won't mind,' he thought.

" Why don't we hang out? I've been meaning to know you better, you know."

" Oh really, sure I don't mind as long as you're paying of course. I'm joking; we can split the bill," she said.

" No, it's okay, I'll pay."

They went to a Cafe that's not too far from campus. There was a Cafe inside campus but they didn't feel like going there, so they went out.

" So tell me, when did you and Paul start dating?" He asked.

" Umm back in high school on our final year. I still remember how it happened; he asked me for prom, luckily I already had a crush on him. So it worked out for both of us," she explained.

Travis didn't care, but he listened since he needed to know the lore between the two before he could make a move on her.

" Wow, that's nice. A three-year relationship. I'm sure you're both gonna end up getting married by the looks of things," he said.

" Well that's what I hope for and my parents of course. I mean, three years together is not a joke. If we ever broke up, I'd probably be shattered to bits," she said.

" Yeah same, so you already introduced him to your parents. That must have been hell."

" Nah, they actually didn't mind. As long as he took good care of me of course. Also luckily we got into the same school so that made them even more happy. Enough about me; I'd like to know more about you. Why are you attending classes online? I mean, everyone liked you, especially the girls," she said.

" Oh so you liked me as well?" Travis asked with a smirk.

Katie blushed but hurriedly shook her head. " No No, not me. My friends. I could never like you that way," she said.

" Are you sure?"

" Yes, now answer me."

" Well as you said, everyone liked me, which kinda disturbed me, since everywhere I went, people would ask me questions etc, I got bored of it all and decided to take online classes," he said.

" Oh, most people thought you had some kind of illness. Well that clears the rumors. By the way, I have this one friend who has a huge crush on you. Would you like to meet her?"

" No, I've already set my eyes on someone."

" Ohhh, I wonder who the lucky girl is. Tell me. I promise I won't tell."

Their orders came right as he was about to speak. Travis knew that it wouldn't be the best time to say anything, since it would make the date awkward so he was happy that the waiter came with their order.

While they ate, the two had a nice conversation; they made each other laugh, shocked, and many other things, which Travis was sure to make their friendship grow beyond the normal kind, which by modern terms is called Male Bestie. And every man hates a male bestie except a man who is one.

After they ate, they left the Cafe and went on a walk around the perimeter of the school. They stopped by a park and sat on the swings as they spoke. The sun was already setting, so they enjoyed the cool breeze.

" Have you ever had a girlfriend?" She asked.

" Well yes, only one though. Back in high school."

" Ohh what happened, did y'all break up or something?"

" Not really, we just stopped talking after we separated."

" Is it the girl you were talking about before?"

" No, I've already moved on from her. The girl I'm into is 10 times better than she ever was," Travis said.

' I wonder who she is. Maybe it's someone I know. Maybe me, haha yeah that would be something. But for real if it was me, what would I do?' She thought.

" It's getting late now. We better get back; I'd like to study, since I have nothing to do today."

" Alright, let's go."

They walked back to campus and stopped right in front of the dorms. Travis saw this as a great opportunity to make his move. He slowly wrapped his arm around her waist, which caught her by surprise.

' Hmm, what's he doing?' She thought.

" Is there something wrong?"

" What? Did I do something wrong?" He asked.

" No, it's just you have your arm around my waist. I don't think we should be doing that," she said.

" But we're friends, aren't we?"

Katie stared at Travis, seeing how confused he looked, she hurriedly wanted to confirm what they were.

" Yeah, but.."

" So what's the problem? We're just friends showing each other affection. There's nothing wrong with this. But if you want, I can stop."

" NO, it's alright. I do this with my girlfriends. So it's not a problem. Just don't do this in front of Paul; we don't want him to suspect something, right?" she said.

" Yeah, don't worry. It's our little inside joke."

Katie giggled. " Yeah, it is. Well, I'll see you tomorrow. Oh wait, give me your number since we're friends now."

" Good, now I can text you. What should I save you as?"

" Just in case Paul checks your phone. Save me as Trix. It sounds pretty neutral," he said.

" Why, it's not like we're doing anything bad."

" Listen, no guy wants to know that another is super close to their girl. So we better prevent any suspicious things that could make him insecure, you know?" He said.

" Good idea. Well, I better go, bye."

Before she ran, Travis pulled her into a hug. Katie blushed when feeling his body around her, she took a whiff of his cologne and felt euphoria going through her mind. Travis pulled back and smiled, which painted her whole face red.

' He's so handsome,' she thought.

" I'll see you then."

He turned back, leaving her to process what just happened to her. Travis, on the other hand, had a wide smirk planted on his face as he walked away.

' I freaking love this feeling!' He thought.
