[Second Task Loaded]

This were words that Aiden heard that steered him into waking up. At first he didn't pay no mind to it because he just thought it was a hallucination, or he was just hearing things. He laid down in exhaustion thinking of everything that happened at that "time". As he was thinking about this stuff, A man came in. "Starting today, you will be living with me" The man abruptly say's with a gentle smile.

Once Aiden heard it, he was having mixed emotions. As someone who was an orphan, he should be delighted that someone will be taking him in, but he still had an uneasy feeling. The doctor in charge of Aiden stated that he will be discharged tomorrow after a final check up.

The day quickly passed as Aiden was discharge, it didn't take him soon and realize that the man who took him in was named Jay Guy, as they walked out the hospital, people we're looking at his adoptive father and didn't bother to say a thing. They only looked at him of shock. They stopped at one of the circular pad thingies, and the next thing Aiden knew was that he was already in front of a big, luxurious house.

Aiden was astounded and didn't move for a quick second.

"Cool right? This is one of the teleport pads we use, you can see them almost everywhere since it serves as a last second decision if someone was injured, they could just go find one of these, think of a hospital they want to go to and they will be teleported there" The man said in response to Aiden's reaction.

Aiden was also surprised at the house in front of him. The house may not be big as a castle like seen in stories. but big enough to know that the person living in there was a bigshot in the city, as they entered the house, its interior design was airy and bright. There was a lot of space and it was a very bright room that always luminated the sunlight.

The furniture's were also well coordinated and luxurious, as Aiden was admiring the furniture's, and the textures of each room. They arrived at his room, where he was gonna be staying. It was had a very cozy feeling and also some contrasting textures. They moved Aiden's clothes and other stuff in the room and went out again.

There were very few yet large sculptural designs, it was really charismatic that it was very attracting to the eye's of people. Aiden arrived at a virtual training ground, Jay then, his "adoptive father" tossed a sword to him. "Fight me, I want to see your skills" Jay said.

Aiden was still adjusting to the sword he was given for it was heavy sword, but Jay didn't give him time for this and gave out his first slash. Aiden was luckily able to react in time and dragged his sword in front of him, he was only barely able to block it and also fell down almost 4 meters behind him because of his small physique.

"Get Up!" Jay said with a serious tone. "A son of the Guy Family mustn't be this weak" he added. Aiden was barely able to get up because of the impact and Jay was already walking towards for him for the second strike. Walking not running.

Aiden got up when Jay was closed 2 meters of the distance. He immediately got up and raise his sword to a defense position as Jay raised his sword. As he went for the strike, Aiden suddenly closed his eyes, but he didn't feel the impact he felt before.

As he opened his eyes, he saw that Jay stopped the strike. "Train harder, every first day of the month, we will come back here and we will spar, if you don't show any improvements, you might as well kiss your new home goodbye" Jay said as he left the virtual training ground.

Aiden suddenly dropped tired to the ground out of fear. "I didn't even choose to stay with you nor did you ask my opinion if I wanted to stay with you, and now you're forcing me to train? How annoying" Aiden whispered under his breath. "Well, at least I get to train everyday, I guess that'll work" as Aiden added this words. He suddenly recalled what happened at that night.

He shaked his head and set it aside as a bad dream, there was no way he could've been able to kill someone, he was also curious as how he was able to survive that, but if he was able to survive that, then the other people must also be alive right now. He was happy by this thought as he stood up as he grabbed the sword. He was now able to discern the weight of the sword that he was given.

Unlike a branch it was a real sword, knowing these, he wouldn't use a branch in a real fight so he decided to do some strength and endurance training. He continued this for 15 hours a day and this is how he spent his days. After the first month, he was able to somewhat hold the sword somewhat fine.

Every month he would have visible changes and improvements, this is how he spent his first entire year in the Guy household. A lot has happened after a year, he was now able to hold a sword properly, he also had some simple techniques with the sword which was able to fend off some of his dad's moves.

He wasn't dumb either and also learned of his dad's background. Jay Guy was currently the head of one of the most powerful guilds to exist in all the regions. The ruler before Tsukoshiki Ishizami issued to make guilds. There were 2 public guilds which was the adventurer's guild and the mercenary guild. The name of his dad's guild was Grigora, meaning fast in English.

Out of every guild there is, it was said that his dad's was the guild that had one of the fastest services, and also the guild that finished requests the fastest. Although despite all of this, the Grigora Guild was only the 4th most powerful guild. But out of every guild there is, it is considered very admirable.

Reading through books he also recognized his father, and also knew his rank which was currently Red Star Rank, which was very high. He remembered that his father once said that he was gonna awaken when he turns 7 years old. He was excited about this, he also started guessing what his ability would be.

His father's ability was bone manipulation, which allows him to use his bones in any way he wanted to. It was said after you were given an ability, it will be stuck with you for the rest of your life, the only way to improve is having a large mana bank, and be creative on the ways of how you use your ability. This just means that when getting an ability, luck plays one of the greatest factor.

Just like that another year passed, In those months, a private tutor was hired to personally teach Aiden for 5 hours everyday, after his class, he goes straight to the training ground to train. It's what basically what Aiden's been up to over the past months.

The day he turned 7 arrived, he was in the guild that his father manages. They went to the part of the guild where they can test a person's Mana Bank, Ability, and many more. Inside that room was just his father and him, and in the middle was an orb.

"All you have to do is put your hand on the orb, then it will do everything" Jay said.

Aiden did as he was instructed and placed his hand on the ball. The ball glowed in a black light hue, and then glowed in a white hue. When this white hue appeared, Jay slowly put his palm on his face and sighed very deeply.

Aiden foresaw this reaction when the orb glowed white, he once red in the book that there were a lot of people that didn't have any abilities, when they were tested, the testing orb all glowed white. They were labeled as vermins and were always tossed aside.

When he recalled these words, he was upset and frightened about this. He was upset because he didn't get an ability he always longed for, and frightened by the fact that his father might throw him away.

"Let's.... Just go" Jay said with a disappointed look on his face. Aiden followed his father with his head down. They arrived home and Aiden went directly to his room instead of going to the training grounds.

He waited there for half a hour before he was called. When he arrived at his dad's office in the house. "Training grounds, now" Jay sternly said. They approached the training grounds and just like two years ago, Jay firmly threw a sword to the direction of Aiden. He held back just so that Aiden can get it just fine.

Jay also grabbed a sword, and just like last time, he immediately went for the strike first. But unlike last time, it was almost as if he was using his full strength. Although it was clearly still holding back, it was very different to how he held back last time. He also let out this immense pressure that would make anyone afraid of him to people who had a lower rank than him.

At the third strike was where Aiden tripped, he lost his balance and fell because of the impact he received from each and every powerful strike from his dad. Although its noticeable that Aiden is already having a hard time. He was already on a formation that says he was gonna strike again.

Having known this Aiden quickly used his sword as a shield while he was on the ground. This strike cause Aiden's sword to break in half, he closed his eyes in fear thinking he was gonna die. 1 second passed, 2 seconds passed, and many more. He was confused why his head wasn't sliced in half yet.

He slightly opened his eyes only to see a blade that was about half a ruler in front of him. Aiden gulped realizing the situation he was in.

-----------

Jay stopped his sword out of enragement. He was sure that what he saw back then was the power of a rank higher than his own, which all came out from a baby, he was sure he didn't mistook this for someone else. That power even created a big hole in that area, when everything was cleared, there was nothing else there except for a little boy, and yes that was Aiden.

He adopted Aiden for the sole reason of surpassing the current ruler Tsukoshiki Ishizami. In short, he was planning to make the kid with an unusual amount of power as a kid feel indebted to him. He always planned to use him in order to surpass the current ruler and use him to get anything he wants. This was why they went to the training grounds. When they were testing for Aiden's ability and mana bank, it glowed a white color indicating he was a useless vermin. He thought it was just a mistake and decided to push the limits of the kid and might awaken too.

But his plan didn't go to plan and end up failing, this disappointed him even more.

In the end, Aiden was kicked out from his adopted family, he was left in the dorms of a certain public school. Before he was left there, his former father only said this words, "From now on, you are not allowed to call yourself a part of The Guy Family, as for your background you only have to say that your parents died and that you're an orphan, do you understand." Jay nodded with a dejected face in response.

He was quite lucky that he did not receive anymore harm to him, so he just decided to stay positive about it, and kept quiet of the last two years he spent with Jay.

-------------

"Aiden.... AIDEN!!!" The teacher shouted. Aiden dazed of while in class and just woke up to the teacher shouting at him. "YES MAAM!" He stood up and said in response. He noticed how embarrassing his action was and immediately sat down. He also noticed some of his classmates with a light grin on their face looking at him, he slightly averted his eyes to the other side.

This was his situation after 8 years, he was now used to his current lifestyle but of course, he still practices with his sword after all those years, he had grown more and more proficient on handling a sword. It also serves for him to vent anger whenever he gets beat up, or teased.

In any matters, his life may not be that good right now as he gets bullied from time to time, but his life was still steady and nothing major has happened.
