Meat of your humanity

Ivo really didn't want to have to tell anyone else. Especially someone he hadn't even met. "I don't know..." he started, before trailing off and looking down at the floor.

Davi gave Thiago a strangely charged look. "What are you thinking?"

Thiago shrugged, the pistons of his chrome arm firing with a soft wheeze. "Strategy. I mean, we're looking at minimising the danger of Parallax, or Rodrigo, being able to access his Opsys, but we haven't considered the other way." He gave Ivo a searching look. "He could give us an in with them."

Ivo schooled his face into a mask of neutrality. It was pragmatic of Thiago to see things that way. But it made Ivo feel like a tool. "Do I get a say in it?"

Thiago nodded. "Regarding telling Maguari? I have to be honest, I don't think you should go to a meeting until she knows. After that? Of course. You'll be as involved as you want but, I gotta be honest, I think you're pretty involved."
