CH75.3 COMMANDER TAIRISH

After some time, Jaxith, Irene and Senka were still going on with their way to Duskthorne.

Jaxith was calmly walking with his hands in his pockets while Irene was crossing her arms and looking annoyed, she was even stomping while walking to try annoying Jaxith.

"Could you stop that?", Said Jaxith in a serious tone while still looking forward.

"I'm simply doing my part as a clown.", Said Irene while looking annoyed, Jaxith looked back at her.

"You are doing what?", Asked Jaxith incomprehensibly.

"That's the official clown entry, so let me do my job for now, but if you want me to stop then you know what to say.", Said Irene provocatively, Jaxith narrowed his eyes seriously before looking back at his way.

After a few minutes from stomping, Irene decided to provocate Jaxith further.

"Some people are horribly abusive, Senka, don't you think?", Said Irene to Senka who was by her side, he nickered positively for her, Jaxith just moved his eyes to the side without looking back.

"It's just a simple apology, but they think they are higher than anyone else to apologize for abusing their strength over innocent children, they are the worst in my opinion.", Said Irene confidently while looking at Senka, Jaxith looked back in surprise, Irene averted her eyes boldly at him.

"What now? Can't you give a girl and her horse the space to talk about important social problems? We are talking about the children abusers here and that's a very delicate and dangerous matter so please don't interrupt us.", Said Irene while sounding like an official government agent then looking back to Senka, Jaxith just sighed and looked forward while rubbing his forehead. Irene immediately sticked her tongue out to Jaxith just after he turned, but at once Jaxith felt her move and turned back to confront her to find her rubbing Senka's ear!

"Good boy, at least you are listening to me.", Said Irene calmly while ignoring Jaxith completely.

Jaxith turned to walk again while closing his eyes in annoyance, Irene averted her eyes towards Jaxith before smirking then raising her thumbs up to Senka.

"She won't stop, she is a cocky one and learning to be smarter.", Thought Jaxith before smiling calmly then opening his eyes.

"Hey, Irene.", Called Jaxith while still looking forward, Irene looked at him strangely.

"Yeah?"

"There is a present for you in the bag on Senka's back, it's the one rolled in the remaining rags.", Said Jaxith calmly.

"A present?"

"Yes."

Irene stopped Senka and opened the bag he is carrying, and after rummaging through the things in the bag she finally found the rags.

"Be careful so as not to drop it in the mud.", Said Jaxith calmly as he stopped and turned to her.

Irene looked incomprehensibly at Jaxith before looking back at the rags.

"I swear that if you are still belittling me I will be really mad at you.", Said Irene seriously.

"Just go on.", Said Jaxith calmly, Irene exhaled before starting to remove the rags rolled over her present, and finally, the rags were completely removed and her present was revealed, Irene stood surprised while her eyes widened, it was the new dress that Jaxith got from the travelling merchant.

"Is that a new dress?", Asked Irene before looking at Jaxith in surprise.

"Yes, do you like it?", Asked Jaxith while smiling.

"Are you kidding me? This is a very expensive dress, it's completely silk, Jax, it's wonderful!", Said Irene happily while looking at the dress.

"Good, I was afraid you might not like it.", Said Jaxith calmly while smiling.

"But when and how did you get it? I literally didn't wear something like that in all of my life, I only saw it in luxurious shops for the nobles.", Said Irene while looking happily at Jaxith.

"I got it along with the rags that I sew together to make the cloaks that we are wearing now, the merchant was an old friend, I met him when you were sleeping.", Said Jaxith calmly.

"You brought it just for me?", Said Irene while smiling.

"Yeah, I saw it and I thought you will truly like it, I wanted to give you something as a gift for your later development, you are hunting animals now and trying to act smarter than before, along with controlling your negative emotions of course, you've come a long way now so you deserve appreciation to keep motivated.", Said Jaxith calmly.

Irene smiled warmly while looking at the ground, she raised her head and moved slowly towards Jaxith before hugging him lightly while resting her head over his abdomen.

"Thank you, I will keep that dress wherever I go and it will be my favourite one, just because it is from you, old man.", Said Irene while smiling and hugging Jaxith.

Jaxith smiled and rubbed her head gently.

"You are welcome, young girl.", Said Jaxith.

"Aaaaaand.", Said Irene while breaking the hug and looking up at Jaxith.

"Your apology is accepted, and I won't negotiate about it.", Said Irene confidently while smirking.
