"The fireball hit a part from the main research center, probably a room or two was destroyed.", Said the afraid elf who is now looking towards the academy direction giving his back to the battlefield, everyone on the defensive wall was standing up again after the fireball passed them safely.

"Go and check if any of the students was injured by that explosion, our top priority is the students' safety, if you find any strange things, you know how to inform me, right?", Said professor Claus while looking seriously at the innocent, afraid elf.

"Y-yes, I know, but don't you need me here, professor?", Asked the elf politely.

"No, me and the archers captain will deal with this.", Said professor Claus while walking closer to the elf and putting his hands over the elf's shoulders.

"No need to be afraid, it's safe inside the academy campus, I know this is not your job and these moments exactly are the worst for you, but at least we have to make sure that no one is hurt, they may be needing your healing skill, okay?", Said process Claus calmly while smiling.

"Fine, grandfather, I'll go right now.", Said the innocent elf before professor Claus removed his hands from over his nephew's arms and the elf started running towards the stairs.

"Grandfather!", Called the innocent elf before going down the stairs and looked at professor Claus who in turn looked at him.

"Be careful, you are my only family.", Said professor Claus' nephew in a calm tone, professor Claus smiled and nodded positively.

The innocent elf started running down the stairs and immediately professor Claus turned to look at the alpha scarlet giant again who was starting to charge a new fireball!

"ALL THE DIVINE CASTERS REGROUP HERE AND GET READY, WE ARE PERFORMING A COMBINED SPELL! HURRY UP!", Shouted professor Claus loudly and immediately the divine casters started regrouping behind professor Claus.

"What does they want?", Asked the archers captain.

"They want to cause the greatest amount of damage they could possibly do before the divine barrier gets active, that's why they summoned an alpha scarlet giant, he can shoot fireballs from such a wide range, he's still not in the range of the archers and will keep shooting fireballs like that.", Said professor Claus seriously while closing his eyes and raising both of his arms above like he's praying, the divine casters wearing the blue robes behind him did the same like him.

"Why can't we target him with one of radiating towers?", Asked the archers captain.

"Because I want all of them to be ready at the same time, it will give lieutenant Arathel a more organized way to use them without being afraid that one of them is still not charged.", Said professor Claus seriously and while talking, blue aura of energy started moving from the divine casters behind him into the professor's body, the archers captain was looking calmly at him.

"The combined spell, a type of spell that is casted by the leading divine caster but the divine energy used in that spell is shared by all the divine casters contributing in that spell, this has many advantages, such as that if the group of divine casters has only one person specializing in a specific art of divine casting that no one of them can use, it helps them to contribute with divine energy for that one person to perform for longer times with them rather than using all of his divine energy until he becomes useless for the group and so they lose an effective caster that no one one of them can substitute, or....", Thought the archers captain before looking at the alpha scarlet giant who arched his body a bit to start throwing the fireball that he has created now, but immediately a large blue glowing circle started appearing on the ground below the alpha scarlet giant and it was even below some of the demons around the alpha scarlet giant too, and immediately.

SLASHES!!! BOOOOOOM!!!!!

A large number of ice spikes emerged from the blue circle furiously in a high speed and started piercing everywhere inside the body of the alpha scarlet giant and the demons around him, blood was gushing and spraying and the pain cries of the demons getting shredded was loud and immediately the large fireball that was created by the alpha scarlet giant fell from his hands and exploded on the ground burning several demons more! Literally a devasting blow by a single spell, the spikes was very high in the air and was nearly the height of normal scarlet giants.

"Or performing a very strong spell that will consume so much divine energy from the divine caster casting it so the other divine casters provide him with divine energy to perform it and avoid getting exhausted.", Thought the archers captain while looking at the results of professor Claus' spell then looking at professor Claus himself who lowered his arms and opened his eyes which were glowing blue intensely.

"But I have to admit, this elf is one of the strongest divine casters in our time, I'm sure he can cast this spell several times alone without getting exhausted, he just wants to keep his reserve from divine energy if anything went south, we should be thankful he's by our side during this attack.", Thought the archers captain intensely before looking at the battlefield again.
