The rumbling sound of the feet steps of the demons are getting louder, the green ground surrounding the academy was slightly shaking, the demons are getting closer, the first wave that was summoned are 15 minutes a far from entering the main battlefield.

The demons hordes contained several almighty scarlet giants, they were distinctive among the great hordes because of their size, they were walking slowly between the shorter demons causing the shaking.

The other two types of demons were the famous red demon hounds and the strong scarlet crusaders, the former were walking fast on their agile, muscular limbs even between the wide steps of the scarlet giants, while the latter were actually resembling a combination of horror and splendour in their arranged military marching, their black sturdy armors were shining under the sun rays of this afternoon, their black helmets were covering most of their faces except the eyes and the mouth, the red demonic eyes were showing nothing but utter hatred and anger, their mouths weren't completely closed as the large teeth of those crusaders were slightly protruding out and they were snapping with their fangs as a sign of anger, their height varied from 6.3 feet to 6.75 feet, the sound of their armor clinging together were quite menacing, they were carrying different weapons, swords, shields, axes, halberds and spears, the ones carrying halberds and spears were even hitting the ground with their weapons while marching forward along with their armored boots, those crusaders were the basic units for the scarlet army, a strong well trained knights ready to tear down kingdoms if they were numerous enough.

On the top of the grey defensive wall, on the main side where the main gate lies down, a divine caster in a mage robe was walking in a hurry to the middle of the wall, he was an elf with grey hair that reaches below his neck by a single tip, in fact, he's the same professor that was talking to Elviera while she was doing her glacial spell and was congratulating her for her outstanding skill, another elf was looking afraid while watching the demons getting closer from far away, just now he noticed that this divine caster has reached him.

"The divine barrier will be activated in about 5 minutes, we are about to be ready.", Said the divine caster seriously before standing beside the afraid elf and looking far away too at the demons.

"That is something reassuring at least, they will be here soon, professor Claus.", Said the afraid elf while looking ahead.

"I know, don't be afraid, I'm sure that lieutenant Arathel is having a good plan for such strenuous circumstances, we need to have faith in the gods before anyone at first, they will be beside us against those vile creatures, the sworn enemies of the gods, the elves and the humans, we have to make sure that they won't seek whatever they want.", Said professor Claus seriously while looking ahead before the sounds of armor rustling together were getting closer to them so they looked towards the directions of the stairs to found many archers getting inside the top of the defensive wall with them.

"GET DISTRIBUTED ACROSS ALL THE SIDES, I WANT US TO COVER ALL THE ANGLES DOWN THE BATTLEFIELD, THEY WILL BE DEPENDING ON US DOWN THERE, AM I MAKING MYSELF CLEAR?", Shouted an elven officer whose armor was a bit distinctive than the other archers, his helmet was having a blue feather on the top while the others didn't have one, the archers started spreading across the defensive wall and getting ready to face the enemy from above.

The elven officer walked towards professor Claus and the elf beside him, both of them were looking at the archers getting dispersed.

"Professor Claus, I'm the captain of archers squad assigned for the academy defense, lieutenant Arathel ordered us to be under your command to cover her in the battlefield.", Said the captain seriously.

"Cover them? What do you mean? Are those the only people that will be here?", Asked professor Claus while looking surprised and at this moment, the divine casters started sprinting from the direction of the stairs too like the archers.

"The divine casters too will be helping us, it's better if we started positioning them between my men at once to be ready, they are very important especially against the scarlet giants, the archers will be effective against the hounds mostly.", Said the archers captain seriously.

"Wait, shouldn't all of us be up here together?", Asked professor Claus.

"Lieutenant Arathel are afraid that the divine barrier won't last long, she has a plan to deal with the demons on the battlefield instead of directly losing ground while retreating too much, I'm sure that she will tell you about it once you create your telepathic field with her, it will be much better for coordination between us up here and them down in the battlefield.", Said the archers captain, professor Claus listened carefully to the archers captain.

"I see.", Said professor Claus before looking down at lieutenant Arathel, she started putting the infantrymen and the beast riders in their positions.

"I hope you know what you are doing, Arathel, this is your first battle ever and it looks like it's not going to be easy, behind us are innocent lives and a lot of important researches, we can't let them pass at whatever it costs.", Thought professor Claus while looking a bit worried at Arathel, of course he is worried, she's still young and she is already attempting an adventurous plan at a sudden situation.

"By the gods, what is that over there?", Said the archers captain while looking worried, he was looking at the demons hordes ahead.

"BY THE HOLY GODS! WHAT'S THAT?!", Shouted the afraid elf in fear while looking towards demons hordes too.

Professor Claus listened to them then looked at the direction they were looking at and instantly, he stared in fear!
