Chapter 16

『Hey, guard. Gather all the people in the mansion here.』

『Okay, sir.』

It didn't take long. It took only 2 minutes for people to start pouring into the room. All of them were looking at him in curiosity.

After 5 minutes, noticing that no one was coming in any more, Akio decided to start speaking.

『Hello, everyone. I will keep this short. You can stop the search for doctors.』

This resulted in a series of whispers.

『Why?』

『Is the Madam dead?』

『Did he cure Madam?』

『Is he joking?』

Akio clapped once to gather their attention.

『Ahem. I went into Madam's room earlier. And I am pleased to tell you that I have cured her of the disease.』

No sound was made this time, they just opened their eyes wide and kept staring at him.

『Now, it might seem that I am lying. I know. But the two butlers who went into the bedroom. How was her condition after I left the room?』

One of the butlers stepped forward.

『She was more relaxed than before. Her functions were normal and showed no signs of agitation.』

『See?』

It made everyone happy. Everyone's eyes lit up and they breathed out a sigh of relief.

『But, she told me that she would wake up after sleeping for another hour. And not to let anyone near the room until the time was up.』

Some looked skeptical but decided to wait anyways.

Out of all the people that seemed happy and exalted, two people were only pretending. They were distressed. They had planned everything thoroughly, how could this go wrong.

『Oh, and also, could you bring the master here once?』

Akio was angry. Too angry. His wife was on the verge of death but the master didn't bother to come even once.

『I don't he woul-』

『BRING HIM HERE AT ONCE!』

5 minutes later, the master of the house came with the guard towing behind.

『So are you the one who daved my wife? Why did you-』

He didn't get a chance to talk. As soon as he stepped foot into the room, Akio round kicked him in the face.

The master flew and got smacked on the other side of the room. Everyone present gasped at this scene.

『S-sir?』

『Don't worry. I will not kill him. I will keep healing him. But that doesn't mean this will be painless.』

『B-but why, Sir?』

Akio made his way to the master and answered.

『This person, even though his WIFE is in critical condition, didn't bother to check her once! Hear that, you sick asshole?!』

Akio healed his bloody face by correcting the facial bone structure, stopping the bleeding, and nulling the pain.

『B-but won't it be cured anyway?!』

The way this guy answered got on Akio's nerves. Maybe because he had been disowned now, he knew how toxic such family members tend to be.

『Isn't she your only family? Huh? Or do you have any mistresses, you bastard!』

Again Akio flung to the other side of the room.

『Do you think she's happy? You put your work over her, don't you? People like you don't deserve to live!』

Again he healed the master's face.

『HEY! Butlers, guards, somebody stop him!』

But nobody moved. It was not only because of fear. They too were fed up with him. Every day, they would see the Madam sniffle in loneliness. Everybody at the mansion loved the Madam. She was like a guardian angel to them. They didn't like him at all. They hated the guy who would make their angel cry.

『You punk! Listen to me when I am talking to you!』

The rest of the beating continued voicelessly for 10 minutes. By the time Akio was done, the master's eyes had lost their life in them. He didn't utter a single word.

『Lock him up in a room. Do not let him out until he reflects on what he's done. No questions asked. Now, everyone disperse. Meet you all outside Madam's room in one hour.』

Half an hour later, two people slowly unlocked the bedroom door. They saw the Madam sleeping on her bed. One of them had brought a piece of cloth in their hand. That person crept up to the bed silently on their tip-toes.
