92 NGJ Chapter 92: Advancements
Azazel had left a few hours ago, we managed to play Hota for a total of 10 hours straight. I won 90% of the games of course as the superior Hota player. And I think I ignited a new obsession with Azazel about video games.
But well, that isn't my problem. It probably is Shemhazai's problem though. Poor guy.
I was currently lying on my main bed. I had my bed remade from scratch by my cursed craftsman, ensuring maximum comfort. It was massive too, being an Alaskan King Sized bed that technically qualified as a cursed tool. I even had them make me new pillows.
Of course, for their performance, I increased the size of the Craftsman department by 2x. They were just too useful and I had plenty of undead slots from having the cloak of the undead king permanently on me as a long comfortable black cardigan.
Speaking of undead slots my situation on that had changed massively thanks to me getting lucky and getting what I wanted from Kenjaku.

[Cursed Spirit Manipulation LV.1/100]
Allows the user to dominate cursed spirits weaker than themselves and makes them subservient to the user. The user can also consume natural cursed spirits to increase their maximum CE and have a chance to attain their cursed technique.
Grants the user access to a sub-dimension to store their cursed spirits.
Synergy: Increases the maximum amount of undead available to the user to 1 undead slot per 1 int. The user can store an endless amount of undead in their sub-dimension.

An incredibly useful cursed technique for a necromancer like me. Though somewhat weirdly I couldn't fuse it with Cursed Spirit Creation and Create Undead. I wonder what that is about.
Anyway, I also have the boons.
First, I used my Dark Wisdom to absorb an ability from Hanami. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get his Disaster Plants but I was able to get his stealth which I was able to fuse with Chameleon to get a more powerful version.

-Suppresses all traces of the user's presence, making them unable to be seen, heard, smelt, or their magical energies perceived. This effect is dispelled once the user inflicts damage or is inflicted with damage.

The strongest stealth ability has been created. The additional damage clause is somewhat annoying but it is a restriction like that that makes the stealth of this ability absurd.
Imagine a cursed assassin with this ability.

Next up Jogo man.
This one kinda baffles me a bit. Because I don't know what happened when I absorbed the ability. Maybe my system finally started glitching?

No tooltip either, I am completely lost. I can feel the flames belonging to Jogo deep inside me but they don't listen to me. They feel completely foreign in my body and I do not like the sensation one bit. It feels like this technique and I were on completely different wavelengths.
Well, I will have to fix that later.
Next up is the aquatic menace, Dagon.
I didn't get anything like Disaster Tides. No, I got something way better than that. Finally.

Now, what I got from Mahito was basically the entire reason I decided to tackle Shibuya in the first place. If I did not get that I would have probably shed an immeasurable amount of tears.

-Allows the user to freely alter the shape of souls by touching them. The user needs to touch the souls with an open hand for the technique to work. The user can freely change the shape of their own soul. Effectiveness depends on the level difference between target and user.

I do not feel like I need to describe how immeasurably broken this ability is.
And after that, other than Yuji's corpse I did not gain anything notable in terms of techniques. The grace of lady luck seemingly having left me.
But what I got from Yuji more than made up for it.

It's pretty barebones for now as the technique is in its most basic form unlike Sukuna's who honed it over probably hundreds of years to an absurd degree. Regardless it is an incredible offensive ability if used right.
Now, there were the quest rewards for accomplishing both objectives.

Pretty good, though sadly there aren't many spirits in DxD. And the sorcerer killer quest just gave me 3 gacha tickets. Cheap ass.
Now lastly, there were the changes that happened to me.
First off, I levelled up 37 times which was great.
Secondly.
Domain Expansion.
My skills [Simple Domain] and [Curtain] were fused into [Domain Expansion] though I can still use them of course.

I will really need to work on using my domain expansion. Both for the level and because if I do not know what I am doing using a domain wrong is a massive blunder. They just need to wreck my domain once to make me unable to use my technique for several minutes.
At the same time as me creating my own domain my cursed energy levelled up also. Making me feel like someone who actually understands what he is doing now.

Increases the efficiency of all cursed techniques by 37.5%
And without my input, several of my traits had fused together to form my innate domain. And I have to say. Having an innate domain is broken.

This is what I am talking about. Finally, I have resistance to mental abilities, they are one of the things I feared the most. I could be mentally fucked and not even notice it. Unfortunately, my gamer package did not come pre-installed with a gamer's mind. But this was even better.
Any attack that tries to directly affect my being like say, mind control will have to contend against my innate domain, which would be pretty hard for someone without an innate domain of their own.
Basically, anybody who tries to invade my being will experience what Mahito felt when he tried to use Idle Transfiguration on Yuji. Except unlike Sukuna, I am not as merciful.
As I was wondering about what to do while my clone ran dungeons with Alpha and the rest of my army I received some texts from Sona. This means that the Exorcist arc is starting.
Am I prepared?
Hmm, I think so.
The fat bishop bastard is no problem for me. The knockoff rapist murderer white-haired creepo is less than insignificant even with the Excaliburs. Alpha can easily outspeed him even if he uses Excalibur rapidly.
Wait, priest bastard, had that Light Element Container right?
Suddenly, it was as if tens of puzzle pieces clicked in my mind.
Excalibur. Is a sword. One of the strongest swords at that.
Alpha, uses a sword, basically, only swords as he does not have any other weapon skill.
The light element container, ethically sourced out of children. Allows whoever is bestowed with it to use the light element even if they are a race that takes damage from it like a devil.
6/7 of the Excalibur fragments are coming into town out of their own volition.

Ferb, I have an idea.
I must get Alpha the Excalibur. My collectionist instincts DEMAND it. I can only imagine the utter horror on people's faces when a brick shithouse of an undead comes out with the Excalibur, uses Damnation on them and then proceeds to Excaliblast them off the surface of the planet.
Hell, even the Durandal is up for grabs if Xenovia happens to encounter an "incident". Excalibur and Durandal fusion.
Wait, Heaven has Ascalon too. I am sure they would be willing to do a trade.

WAIT! If I find that Siegfried guy I can get Gram too! And also a bunch of Demonic swords too.
I can just imagine Alpha dual-wielding the Ultimate Holy Sword in one hand and the Ultimate Demonic Sword in the other.

Huh, now that I think about it Issei being dead right now could stir up some questions that will be annoying for me.
I guarantee the exorcists will definitely point fingers at me and blame me for Issei's sudden disappearance.
...They would be correct but I refuse to give them the satisfaction.
Hmm, I guess I could revive Issei? Technically his body has been in stasis ever since it entered my inventory so it's in almost perfect condition and considering how weak and insignificant he is there should be no penalty to reviving him.
Some might raise the question of how I was going to account for the fact that Issei who has been missing for months now suddenly reappearing would turn a lot of heads and confuse people.
I have a simple answer to that conundrum.

It's as simple as making my maids handle it in a few hours.
So, I did just that. It only took me 2 hours to revive Issei, demonstrating just how insignificant he truly was. Then I just dropped him off in his bedroom.
Sure, he may have a feeling of something being kinda off and so will his parents due to the changes they made with him out of the family but those will get smoothened over.
For now, though, I have other things to worry about. Sona called me to the Student Council room to discuss something which marks the start of the exorcist arc.
