82 NGJ Chapter 82: Cloak of the Undead King

---Akira - Full Form---

*Huff* *Huff*

It feels like I will pass out from exhaustion soon. My CE is at 42. I was lying on the cold and desolate ground after finally finishing the final battle.

For this, I had even sent my other body into Necropolis and fused both bodies to have access to my full strength. Even with that and my entire army behind me, it was one hell of an uphill battle.

The final boss of the Necropolis was the motherfucker himself Thant, and his army was so massive it was nauseating.

5,000 Skeleton Warriors Lv. 50 - 100

2,500 Zombies Lv. 100 - 110

1,000 Wraiths Lv. 130 - 180

500 Vampires Lv. 200 - 240

250 Vampire Lords Lv. 250 - 310

125 Power Liches Lv. 280 - 320

100 Dread Knights - Lv. 350 - 450

25 Bone Dragons - Lv. 400 - 500

10 Ghost Dragons - Lv. 550 - 610

It lasted d a y s. It is ridiculous the quantity and quality of his undead. If it wasn't for Wiz and Ddraig who could clear literal hundreds in single spells and Alph who made sure nobody even got remotely close to me I definitely would have folded.

Thant himself, was cancer. He revived hundreds of his stronger undead over and over again just like I did but stronger. He even one shot fucking Alpha himself with [ Expert - Implosion ] which popped my strongest warrior like a balloon from the inside out.

As soon as he pointed his finger at me I already cast [Adept - Burden Shift] to not get killed instantly but instead of being imploded I just felt a sense of vague discomfort as I felt something foreign trying to invade me before the attempt was forcefully broken by something I had that forcefully expelled it.

I do not know what it was but I am grateful for not feeling the feeling of my organs shitting themselves.

That fight definitely was in the top 10 of my most stressful fights.

But having spent so much time I levelled up like hell.

[Brawler LV. 0/50] -> [Brawler LV. 50(Max)]

[Brawler LV. 50(Max)]

+50% Unarmed Damage

+100 Strenght

+50 Agility

+50 Endurance

+50 Vitality

[Sheer Strength]

+25% Melee Damage

+New perk for completing Subclass [Iron Fists]

Unarmed Attacks ignore 10% of enemy armour

Cursed Necromancer - [LV. 88/100] -> Cursed Necromancer - [LV. 100(Max)]

+New perk for completing Class [Curse Affinity]

Decreases the cost of creating cursed spirits, maintenance cost of Curses are halved.

Pretty good hauls if I do say so myself. But those weren't the main rewards for this event, not at all. Because Thant was holding the last components of the artifacts I have wanted to make ever since I came to this world.

Taking the [Vampire's Cowl] from Thant's corpse I fused it with the [Amulet of the Undertaker] and the [Dead Man's Boots] to finally create it.

[Cloak of the Undead King]

Class: Relic

Options:

-Boosts the power of all Necromancy spells by 50%

-Reduces the cost of resurrecting undead and living beings

-Doubles the amount of undead that can be controlled at once

-Boosts the stats of all undead under your command by 20%

This thing was a straight-up cheat code for a Necromancer like me. How truly strong this is cannot be underestimated, just by wearing I can double my army and make them 20% stronger at the same time. But that wasn't all.

Now with the [Blackshard of the Dead Knight], [Rib Cage], [Shield of the Yawning Dead] and the [Skull Helmet], I finally assembled them too to acquire the final gear of Alpha.

[Armor of the Damned]

Class: Relic

Options:

-[Damnation 3/3(Recovers a charge every 24 hours)]: Lowers the physical stats of all targets by 30% for up to 1 hour

-Increases Strenght and Endurance by 30%

-Increases Int and Wis by 15%

-Increases the Physical Stats of units under your command by 20%

Equally ridiculous if not more, as if Alpha wasn't an absolute tank and a half this armor just makes him an actual monster. He quickly equipped it and I couldn't help but whistle at the sight.

Alpha was now a 2.5-meter tall undead, clad in jet black full jagged plate armor from head to toe. His chest plate resembled a metal skull with bright red eyes seamlessly blended into the rest of his armour. His helmet had fearsome goat-like demon horns that curved around them. He wielded a 2-meter-long sword and a tower shield.

All of that coupled with his now glowing red eyes and blood-red cloak made him look like a stereotypical Demon Lord or Evil God. And stereotypes existed for a reason because any grown man would probably shit enough bricks to build several houses if they bumped into Alpha.

Alpha, being Level 408 right now could, without much trouble too. Defeat the Rias peerage by himself.

By that I mean the Rias' peerage along with Sona's Peerage and Riser's peerage. He would struggle a bit with Riser's regeneration and his fire weakness but he could last long enough to splatter Riser to paste once before spawncamping him.

I hate saying this but...

I would lose against Alpha if we fought right now and I didn't have my army. Alpha could easily benchpress skyscrapers and the swings of his sword coupled with cursed energy enhancement could shave the tops off mountains. If I gave him the Gae Bolg I am sure there isn't a single High-Tier being that can rival Alpha except for Ddraig due to her cheaty flames and pierce.

Shaking my head to clear it of the creeping inferiority complex I looked to the last Item I had. It was the combination of several mana charms I had. And this thing would be the key to my operations for a while.

[Wizard's Well]

Class: Relic

Storage: 500,000/500,000

Options: Refills all CE/Mana inside after 24 hours

The large well-like structure in front of me was a literal perpetual CE generator. I could probably upgrade it too. This thing is literally potentially infinite energy, it's ridiculous. Though it's not this world struggles too much with the concept of infinite energy with Ophis roaming around the existence of a dimensional gap that has virtually infinite mana inside it.

Also, I have to pick my new classes. The gap of powers is starting to widen further and further. I am just strong compared to high-class beings. Without my army, my firepower just isn't that great. And the gap between High and Ultimate is a gap I am not even remotely close to crossing.

Serafall and Grayfia could wipe Japan off the map themselves. And what can I do? Get rid of a few city blocks at best? Pathetic.

I decided on my classes.

____________________________

Magician - [LV.0/100]

A Magician, someone who has stepped on the path of the arcane.

Options:

[+10% Power to all Spells]

[+20% Spell Acquiring speed]

Stat gain:

+1 Vit

+1 Agi

+4 Int

+4 Wis

And my subclass

____________________________

Spiritualist - [LV. 0/50]

Options: [Increased Spiritual Affinity]

+1 Vit

+2 Int

+2 Wit

____________________________

Completing these two classes should give me 900 Int and Wit quite good. Plus my new subclass increases the power of my undead thanks to my affinity since they are half cursed spirits and my main class increased my own power level.

Before I went about my way I placed my hand on Thant's corpse. The other undead had crumbled but he hadn't. So I used my newest ability [Dark Wisdom] on his body as it turned to dust.

[ You have acquired trait [Vampirism] ]

[Vampirism]

You can recover CE and HP by consuming the blood of others.

Eh, pretty good, I would have preferred something like an army booster or his unique trait that made resurrecting undead 50% cheaper.

I also got a 5th level spell from this place although it wasn't the one I expected to get.

[Basic - Fly]

Allows the user to fly for (Int/100) minutes.

It's decent. Flying was something I lacked compared to other races and now it was given to me on a silver platter. I just needed to make my air magic stronger. In fact, I plan to make every single one of my magic stronger. I need all of them at least Intermediate or Adept. I won't accept anything else.

Anyway, it was time to leave this place. I had gotten everything I wanted and beat every enemy I wanted to beat. As I used ID escape the world around me vanished as I was returned to my basement. Letting out a breath I didn't know I had been holding I teleported to my garden for some fresh air. You don't know how much you miss clean air when the air you have been breathing for the past few days could only be described as having the taste of depression and entropy.

God that really reminds me of my previous high school and home.

...Anyway, I should upgrade my assembly line now that I have access to double the amount of undead I usually have. And I did just that, creating some Cursed Tailors and Cursed Blacksmiths. They would be used to process the new goods Azazel has sent me today such as materials and new plants that would taken care of by Asia and the new Cursed Botanists I just created.

With my new spirit affinity and class mastery I can easily create cursed spirits to suit my needs. So I decided why not and created some Cursed Warders to maintain the wards around my house for me and get better at making wards so that I wouldn't have to.

Man is having an army of absolutely obedient undead servants under your command useful. Who would have thought? I do not even really need corpses anymore since I have upwards of several hundreds of thousands of undead bones and flesh in my inventory not to mention cursed spirits not needing bodies.

I set apart some Cursed Tailors and some Cursed Craftsmen(Cursed Item Creation) aside and gave them the [ Cloak of the Undead King] with their levels of expertise they should be alter the item without damaging it since the crafters have been making items nonstop for a while. But why would I need them to alter this?

[Cloak of the Undead King] looks like the cape of a homeless man, it is a dirty brown and has holes in it. I have dignity, I will need to wear this 24/7 so I need it to be at least comfortable. So I left the crafters a note and picture detailing what I needed it to look like.

A long black cardigan-like piece suits me.

...Yes I am copying my predecessor necromancer thank you for noticing.

As I was sitting idly on a bench in my backyard thinking of what to do next I got a notification on my phone.

[Rias: Are you free this afternoon?]

[Necromaniac: Sure, why do you ask?]

[Rias: Can we come to your house then?]

[Rias: Akeno and I have something to ask you]

[Rias: It is better to do it in person.]

Hmm, Rias seems uncharacteristically low-energy and subdued right now. Why? This might be something pretty serious. Now I am curious.

[Akira: Sure, come whenever]

[Rias: Thanks Akira! We will be there by 16:00]

[Rias: The innuendo isn't lost on me :3 See you soon]

She is fun.

A/N: Akira is slowly(relative to himself at least) but surely building up his strength. Akeno and Rias consulting a Necromancer? This can't possibly be about MILF's can it?
