Necromancer saves the day [BL]

Jua Gu peered at the young man struggling to climb out of a deadly pit. "Do you need my help? I'll climb down and assist you," he gestured from atop the cliff. "I don't need your help!" the young protagonist shouted, gritting his teeth. "Really?" Jua Gu blankly gazed down at him. "Really, I can do it on my own..." the next second, the young man tumbled down from the great height, falling to his death. "For God's sake!" Jua Gu howled. "This is the tenth time he has died! Why won't he accept my help?" He quickly rewound time until the young man was hanging for his life. This time as well, the young man gritted his teeth and shouted that he didn't need his help. "But I need you alive, buddy!" Jua Gu climbed down and grabbed him by the waist. "The world depends on it, and for God's sake, if you die again, I will kill myself." The young protagonist's eyes shone brightly. "You love me so much that you can't live without me?" He hugged Jua Gu's waist tightly. Jua Gu raised a brow. "No." The young man smirked mysteriously. "It's okay to love me." "No, I don't!" "Because I love you too." "You misunderstood!" Jua Gu, panting, gazed at the lunatic. "Why does every single protagonist think I love them?!" "Because you're lovable," the young protagonist grinned widely.

Chapter 5 - Saved by the bell

Jua Gu woke up to a loud racket and screaming.

His arms and legs were unmoving. He could not even stay awake from all that pain. 'Heavens... it's too much. Is it retribution for all the sins I've done...'

In his life, he had committed a lot of sins. Bringing the dead back to life itself was a crime and a sin punishable by gods. But necromancy he practiced involved this.

He was paying back for a bit of that sin with his pain.

He dazedly moved his intact arm trying to sit up.

But a small weight was holding it down.

Jua tiredly blinked his eyes open. The young boy who was cowering in the corner was once again sticking to him sharing his warmth.

He gently pulled the boy close. 'His body is too cold…'

Suddenly the door banged open. "Take the kid! they are close!!"

The kidnappers ran into the room in a panic and went to grab the kid.

'No! The child won't survive!' Jua tightly hugged the boy.

"Let go you bastard!!" the man kicked him.

A searing pain spread through his body from his stomach to his head.

For a second his eyes went blank and he was not able to see anything from the pian.

The man grabbed the boy by his collar and lifted him like a chicken. "They won't hurt us with him…"

'Let go of him..." Jua stood up with difficulty and slammed the door before the man could run out.

"Fuck! get lost kid!!" The kidnapper tried to kick him.

Jua grabbed his leg tightly. "I said let go." Dizzily he staggered.

The man tried his best to free himself but his grip was unyielding.

"Fuck it!"

The man tossed the kid the other way and ran out of the room.

Jau caught the child right before he hit the ground pillowing his fall with his body.

His already wounded body was not able to hold on.

Distant sounds of sirens echoed in the room. Red and blue light flashes in the room. The sound of loud footsteps came close.

"h-help… help..." he called out in a weak tone. The child was too cold he was not doing well. If this went on the child might lose his life.

"Sir! We have found them!!" a man dressed in a strange coat ran in. "are you okay?" the man touched his arms. "it's broken..."

"ahhh!!!!"

"sorry sorry... someone bring the stretcher! Young boy with broken bones!"

"Him…" Jua Gu pointed to the child right before he collapsed.

Jua Gu was gently lifted onto what seemed like a cloth bed and the men started to carry him out of there. His consciousness hung by a thread. 'Did they find the child…' he opened one heavy eyelid.

Only a hazy sight of the child being hugged by a teenager was seen and the next he was blinded by a golden light and he lost consciousness.

The weirdly clothed man placed his bed onto a moving carriage of some sort and started to tend to his broken arms.

Every single time they brushed against it he felt a searing pain burn through his soul

"Ahhhh!!!!!"

"Increase the Morphine dosage." The emergency responder checked the heart monitor. "Heart rate is too high. please administer meds for that… ill check his legs.

The child had fallen unconscious again.

The responder gulped and gently touched the boy's knees.

Once again, the boy woke up screaming in pain. He thrashed around trying to get away from him.

"Tie him down"

They had to tie him down securely in case he rolled off and made his wound worse.

"Did you increase the dosage?"

"We did sir…"

"Then why is he still conscious?!"

"we... we don't know. I think the boy's pain tolerance is abnormal."

Jua Gu heard their conversation in a hazy state. The drug they injected was working in his body pulling his eyelids down but that pain kept him awake. 'This is torture…'

In years of his life, he had never experienced torture like this.

His soul almost fell apart because of this continuous pain cycle.

Thankfully his soul was stronger than anyone else and it was able to hold on.

"Increase the dosage."

Few minutes later Jua Gu finally felt numb and slept peacefully.
