"If you want to find a place as safe as Artakam, you should look for another historic place where you can linger on." Count Hirorak said.
He wasn't amused by Bardeelus' latest questions. That aside, the Count made it quite obvious that he didn't care about the safety of the people of Artakam, but he just cared for the pillars instead. This negligence from the Count's side was in a way, brutal, but it was also expected from a noble, and royal demon.
Bardeelus could abuse this negligence, however, he could pressure the Count about it. He was a good manipulator, so he added this possibility to the list of many other cards, that he could play here, right on this table. Royal or not, this debate was bound to go Bardeelus' way.
He said, "Sir Count, I care about my people, as much as you care about those pillars. If you don't have a good place for us to migrate to, a place better than Artakam, then we won't be making any deals today."
