Chapter 6

"I really don't know how persons in mangas managed to kill like hundreds of zombies and goblins in a couple hours when the apocalypse just started. I can't do this." Slinging myself over Tanya who was busy packing up essentials she shrugged me off in a not so careful way. 

Rolling on the floor I stopped just in front of the other bag that needs to be packed. Doing a quick check with her I started packing the other needed things. After 15 minutes it was time for us to get going. 

Grabbing the hockey stick I broke off the end and gave it to Tanya to use as a walking aid while I took the axe that the goblin had. Going through the broken door the formation of used was me at the front, Tanya middle and Dave at the back guarding. 

We were careful to be a silent as possible while moving through the hall (along with Tanya's injured leg made it hard to move swiftly) to outside where we'd hopefully find other persons alive. Sneaking behind a few goblins Dave and I got rid of them, some I even disarmed and gave to Tanya to kill so that she could raise her level. She is currently halfway through level two (2) while I'm at level four (4) now. I've also realized that the exp I've gained has significantly lessened. 

By the time we were halfway on the path to outside we killed over 20 goblins and our luck, very unfortunately, ran out. Standing at the end of the last hallway that leads to the lobby, stood a goblin that I'd never seen or heard the whole time since this happened. Slightly starting to panic I stared at what I'd call a hobgoblin for now, wondering if I could ever imagine beating that at my current strength. 

Feeling myself being pulled back I snapped out of my trance looking around to see that Tanya also staring at the hobgoblin in fear but at least she wasn't paralyzed like I was. Signalling to her to move back, I did the same and tested every door we passed, never taking my eyes off the hobgoblin as it moved around oblivious to us (thankfully). 

Finally feeling the handle on the third door open I risked taking my eyes off the hobgoblin.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Had no motivation to write and also got a lot of school stuff to do, it's soon exam time though so i'll have time to study and write.
