Chapter 49: The Battle for the Kingdom

Howl's gaze hardened, his resolve steeling against the formidable opponent before him.

"This can't be... Utsu, what have you become?"

King Utsu, or what remained of him, let out a chilling laugh that sent shivers down the spines of all who heard it. His glowing eyes bore into Howl's, devoid of any trace of the man who once held the throne of Neospacia. "I have become the ruler of my destiny," he hissed, the darkness in his tone matching the sinister aura that surrounded him.

Howl growled then charges forward while surrounding his fists with The Neos energy. Howl's Neos –empowered blows struck with precision, their impact resonating through the air. However, King Utsu was empowered by his demonic form and he shrugged off the blows with the greatest of ease.

King Utsu's eyes gleamed with a sinister light. He swiftly retaliated and launched a barrage of dark energy blasts toward Howl which tore through the environment surrounding them while making it's way towards Howl.
