my longest day inside

oh man it was long and scary something happened in the men's side of jail and the entire jail went on entire lock down with a constant alarm ringing it was like an old time telephone ringing it's annoying u cant sleep your head hurts and u take it off the hook to stop it but it didn't stop till lockdown was over as the day went on we couldn't get any rest we couldn't go to commissary or visiting hours mail didn't come or razors that day for shaving it was intense day the guards even walked around with hands on guns that day it was not a pleasant experience and we all hated the person that got locked down turned on this was day 12 for me I remember thinking I would not survive another 18 days like this as I had barely started eating and sleeping on day 8 was first full day of food and rest I say rest cause u dont really sleep in jail u never know what's gonna happen or to who but there is a kind of mutual respect for cellie sleeping I know it dont look like that but most try to be quite if they think your resting because they all know the struggle to sleep
