It is time

Natasha felt a skip from her heart, her uncle does not know whom he was talking to but she did and she was afraid of what he would do if he was to get offended. She looked at Reaper with pleading eyes hoping he would glance at her for a moment but he never did and just stared at her uncle with the same blank and expressionless face he had the whole time. Natasha was about to speak to break the tension in the air when he spoke.

"She cried for helped." He said just these few words and nothing more. Natasha let out a breath that she did not know she was holding, grateful that he did not take offense to her uncle's words.

"And how did you get in? The place would not be left unguarded." Uncle Nicholas asked. Natasha felt her uncle had become a detective interrogating a suspect and he didn't seem to want to let go until he got an answer.

"I have my ways," Reaper answered and Natasha could not agree more.

'Ways, such as...?" Uncle Nicholas asked again frowning at the man who refuses to speak.

"Do not ask questions you wouldn't want to know the answers to, Mr Wallace," Reaper said staring intensely at Nicholas. "Some things are better left unknown."

"of course want to know...." Nicholas was cut off when his wife spoke.

"Let's not bother the young man, Nick, the important thing here is that our Natasha was rescued and she is alive. " Shelly said and trying to ease the tense atmosphere.

"Aunt Shelly is right uncle, I am fine and it is all thanks to him, plus he is taking care of me," Natasha said. Nicholas looked at the man named Malcolm, he didn't look tense or show any signs of annoyance not even when he was giving him and warning. Nicholas sighed and reluctantly nodded his head. "I came to give something to you, Uncle Nicholas," Natasha said.

She took out her bag and placed it on her lap before undoing the zipper. She pulled out a file and extended the hand she held it in towards her uncle. Nicholas did not understand what his niece was doing. " I can't stay here for long, else I will risk him finding me. I have come here because I wanted t give this to you for safekeeping."

Nicholas took the file in his hand, opening it, his eyes went wide in shock. "These are the documents of ownership, with of the property deeds of your father. "

"Yes, I don't want him to have them so I took them away," Natasha said. Keeping the backpack aside, she looked at Reaper before looking at her family, "I think it is best that I should leave now. I don't know if he placed spies in the neighborhood." She said standing up.

"Won't you stay for dinner?" Aunt Shelly asked, standing with her.

"Natasha shook her head and offered her a smile. "Some other time, Aunt Shelly. Give my regards to Cole, I wish I could have seen him."

Nicholas did not know what to say after receiving the documents. His brother and sister-in-law were gone and he didn't even get the chance to see them one last time or the opportunity to mourn for them, now his niece was going into hiding with a strange man whom he was sure was not ordinary and he was giving everything that belonged to his brother.

"Natasha," Uncle Nicholas called. Natasha stopped and turned to look at him. He stood up and walked over to where she was. "Be careful, Natasha." He said and she have a confused look. "I know you are planning something, I won't stop you, you have been strong enough to come out of this all on your own, I believe what you are doing and the limits at which you should go and stop. Be careful, know who you trust and confide in."

"I will do my best, Uncle," Natasha said and higher him, and he laughed her back.

"You can come back anytime, this is your home, never forget that." Uncle Nicholas said and released her from the hug.

Shelly also went to hug her, "I wish you could stay for dinner, Natty, before you leave.."

"I wish I could too, but it is too risky, didn't want to take chances or get you guys involved in this," Natasha said and Shelly patted her back.

"Your uncle is right, this is your home, come around whenever you feel it is safe for you to do so. We will always be here for you." Shelly said and they hugged.

"I know," Natasha said and smiled at them both. "I will come when the time is right, I promise." She looked at Reaper who was still sitting down while the hugged it out. I am ready now, Malcolm." She said, still not used to referring to him as Malcolm.

Reaper stood up and looked at the couple who looked back at him, one has a frown and the other had a smile. "It was nice meeting you, Mr. and Mrs Wallace." He said and turned to face the door before walking away.

"Are you sure you can trust him?" Uncle Nicholas asked and worry marred on his face. Even Shelly had a worried look too as they looked at the door that was now shut.

"Yes, I can trust him," Natasha said. She knew that Reaper had that air that screamed danger around him and her relatives must have felt it. She could not blame them as she was the only one who knew what the man whom they know as Malcolm truly is. "I will be fine, uncle, Aunt, don't worry."

"Alright then, take care of yourself." Her uncle and Aunt said she gave and nod and walked to the door, turning the knob, she opened it and left the house behind her.

She found Reaper standing by the car, leaning against it, she smiled at him. "Thank you, Reaper," she said and he looked at her for two seconds before nodding his head.

They both got into the car and started driving off, Natasha looked at the house and knew that her relatives still had their eyes on them even as they had left. She didn't want to leave them so soon but it was risky. Endangering what was left of her family something that she didn't want so it was better to stay away from them and hope that Nigel will not go to them and harm them.

'I think it is time." Natasha said, looking at Reaper who once again found himself in the driver's seat.
