57. He is praying
This only meant one thing, his death was certain. He drew in a deep breath and dropped the gun. There was no point fighting when this creature was out to protect her. The soul collector. The grim reaper was the one protecting a soul from dying. Was there anyone who could kill her when death himself was willing to keep her alive? It sounded ridiculous but that was what was happening right now.
Natasha stood up from where she sat and walked to stand in front of him. Reaper stood majestically behind her as he towered over the both of them, looking like an indestructible shield behind her.
Her gaze was fixated on him and so was Reaper's. They both stared at him without uttering a word, making the silence feel heavy and suffocating. "Tell me, who is he?" She asked, extinguishing the silence in the room.
