Kotoamatsukami

Sasuke was engaged in his usual chakra control training when the Rabbit mask ANBU appeared next to him. 

"Uchiha Sasuke, the Hokage wants to talk with you," the man said. 

Sasuke nodded, "Lead the way."

He followed the ANBU and quickly noticed that the man's path wasn't towards the Hokage tower. Immediately, he used the partial transformation, activated his Sharingan and initiated his genjutsu. 

The Rabbit had his guard completely down against a 7-year-old kid and immediately fell for the genjutsu.

After 10 seconds, Sasuke managed to transfer the feelings the unknown ANBU had towards his boss to the Hokage. After that, he started altering his mission by implanting new memories. 

The ninja's mission after the suggestion was to get Sasuke and report to the Hokage.

After the suggestion Sasuke used a layer of genjutsu to make the ninja change his path towards the Hokage's office without alerting him that their previous destination was to an opposite direction. 

Sasuke also added a little twist in his suggestion. 

Sasuke halted and said, "Hokage-sama promised me that you will perform the Shadow Clone Technique for me." 

The ANBU nodded. "Indeed, he told me to do so. Watch carefully." 

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." 

Suddenly, two clones appeared next to the ANBU. 

'Finally, I've acquired this technique. My training is about to skyrocket,' Sasuke thought. 

"We can continue," Sasuke said while putting his right hand in his pocket, sending chakra to the scroll he had received from Inoichi.

The Rabbit ANBU appeared in front of the Hokage Tower and spoke with the guards. 

"Hokage-sama is expecting us." 

"Yes, we have been informed. Please come in," the guard said. 

The duo proceeded to walk into the Hokage's office. There were three additional people in the office. 

'This day will be extremely interesting,' Sasuke thought. 

"Greetings, Hokage-sama, Jiraiya-sama, Nara-san, Yamanaka-san," the ANBU said a little confused. 

'It seems that it's a matter of time until he escapes the genjutsu,' Sasuke thought. 

"Please have a seat, Rabbit," Hokage said while pointing to a particular chair opposite to him. 

Rabbit nodded and immediately went towards the chair. As soon as he sat down, multiple seals got activated, and the Rabbit lost control of his body and chakra. His face panicked as he escaped from the genjutsu. 

"Jiraiya, go ahead," Hiruzen said. 

At the same time, Inoichi looked at Sasuke and gave him a thumbs up. 

Sasuke nodded with a small smile. 

Jiraiya forcefully opened the mouth of the Rabbit and, after checking inside, he said, "He is Root, and it's the usual seal. If I remove it, it will destroy his memories." 

Hiruzen sighed with resignation, "We will proceed with your plan, Shikaku." 

Hiruzen pressed a button and said, "Turtle, go and call Danzo here now. Dog, go to the Uchiha compound and search for the Rabbit." 

'Danzo? The elder from the council? So, this organization called Root is controlled by him. Also, Rabbit, my original watcher, is probably dead,' Sasuke thought. 

Shikaku gave instructions to another ANBU who took the Root ninja away. After the instructions, all the ninja in the room focused their attention on Sasuke. 

"Sasuke, first, I want to say well done. An ANBU will accompany you to the Nara grounds, where you will be safe for the time being. Things might get a little complicated, and your security is extremely important. After this, we will have a long discussion," Hiruzen said. 

Sasuke nodded and said, "I suspect that this organization has multiple Sharingans in their possession. What will happen to them? They belong to my clan." 

Hokage took a surprised expression for a second and looked at Shikaku with the corner of his eyes. 

'It seems that Shikaku didn't tell Hokage everything,' Sasuke thought. 

"We will talk about this later," Hiruzen said with a commanding voice.

Sasuke, together with a Bird ANBU, left for the Nara clan. 

In the middle of the road, while passing in front of the Hyuga compound, Sasuke stopped. 

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu," Sasuke thought, and another Sasuke appeared. 

Immediately, Sasuke felt half the chakra leaving his body. The feeling was really terrible, and if Sasuke wasn't so well-trained, he would have suffered more. This terrible sensation almost sent him to his knees, and only his strong will kept him going. 

'That's why it's not a good idea to immediately use techniques after copying them. I used the technique with the same ratios that the Root ninja used, which were suitable for his body. If it wasn't an emergency, I wouldn't have done that,' Sasuke thought. 

"What are you doing?" The Bird ANBU asked. 

"I will send my clone to train. I want to use my time efficiently." 

'That isn't against my orders,' the Bird ANBU thought and nodded. 

The duo finally reached the Nara clan, and Shikamaru, together with his mother and four more Naras, was expecting them. After delivering Sasuke, the ANBU immediately left for the Hokage tower. 

"Hello, Sasuke. I am Yoshino, Shikamaru's mother. Welcome to our clan," the woman said with a big smile. 

Shikamaru just nodded at him. 

"Hello, Yoshino-san. It's nice meeting the woman who has to deal with Shikamaru's laziness," Sasuke said with a laugh. 

Shikamaru looked at Sasuke with an expression that was saying, "SHUT THE FUCK UP." 

"Sasuke, it's so nice that Shikamaru made a friend like you. Even if it is for a few minutes, he finally trains a little." 

Shikamaru felt the need to interrupt their conversation before it was too late. 

He immediately took Sasuke by his shoulder and forced him to follow him and said, "Do you know how to play shogi?" 

Yoshino watched her son's antics amused.

Sasuke's clone immediately went through the gates of the Hyuga compound. 

"Hello. I am Uchiha Sasuke. Please inform Neji that I want to talk with him," 

Sasuke said politely to the guards. 

After 3 minutes, Neji was at the gate and looked strangely at Sasuke. 

"You never leave the training grounds without a good reason. What's going on?" 

"Please follow me. I will inform you on the way," Sasuke said while signaling glances to the guards. 

Neji nodded and followed him. 

After running a good distance, Sasuke said, "I need you to watch carefully for all the people entering the Hokage tower. I am interested in an elder called Danzo, but I don't know his appearance. I will also use my Sharingan, but your eyes are stronger in detection. Don't try to see through the tower. I am sure that they would have defensive measures, and I don't want us to be detected," Sasuke said. 

"What exactly are we looking for?" Neji asked, confused. 

"I am suspecting that Danzo has stolen multiple Sharingans from my clanmates," Sasuke said. 

"This is unforgivable," Neji said with fury. The Hyugas were very sensitive to their eyes, and Neji couldn't help but imagine this happening to him.

After 7 minutes of watching, an old man with multiple bandages and a cane appeared. 

"Uchiha, I think that he is the one. Check him with your Sharingan," Neji said. 

Sasuke activated his Sharingan and looked at the strange man. 

"I don't see anything strange. His chakra seems normal. What do you see?" Sasuke asked. 

"His covered eye has a foreign chakra, but I can't see under his bandages. He is probably using fuinjutsu," Neji said. 

"He must have a Sharingan in his right eye, and he definitely hides a secret in his covered hand," Sasuke said, a little unsatisfied with the lack of information. 

Sasuke wanted to continue watching the tower but he didn't want to take the risk of being detected. 

"You can go back now, Neji. Thank you for your help," Sasuke said, and his clone popped.

Danzo walked into Hiruzen's office with suspicion. 

'Hiruzen calling me here means that the mission must have failed. Did that idiot get captured, or is it just a suspicion? I need to find out. If worst comes to worst, I have to use that power again. After using it to escape execution after the Uchiha massacre, I really want to avoid using it again at full power,' Danzo thought. 

Danzo knocked and entered Hiruzen's office. 

"Hiruzen, why did you call me here?" he immediately asked without a hint of respect. 

"Sit down, Danzo. We need to discuss your recent activities," Hiruzen said. 

"What are you talking about? You removed me from the council, you took away all my power even after everything I have done to keep the village safe, and now you blame me without any proof," Danzo said with resignation. 

Hiruzen looked at him in the eyes and didn't speak for several seconds. 

"Danzo, again and again, because of our old friendship, I didn't punish you for overstepping your authority. However, now you lie before my eyes. Your ninja was captured," Hiruzen said and got up from his seat, ready to face him. 

"HIRUZEN, CALM DOWN. I CAN EXPLAIN," Danzo shouted, while his mind entertained different thoughts. 

'It seems that it has all come to the worst-case scenario once again. My body will need several months to recover after this. If he didn't have proof, I would only need to create a small suggestion, and that wouldn't be a big problem. However, changing his mindset completely will push the genjutsu to its limits.' 

"There is nothing to explain anymore, Danzo. You are finished," Hiruzen said, and a shuriken appeared in his hands. 

'Kotoamatsukami,' Danzo thought and activated the genjutsu with all his chakra. 

As soon as the genjutsu hit Hiruzen, a popping sound was heard, and smoke appeared. 

Danzo gaped, terrified at the unexpected sight.
