"This is...?"

Seeing the intelligence scroll handed over by Uchiha Yosuke, Tsunade raised an eyebrow. She recalled a similar scroll from last time that nearly cost Nawaki his life. At this moment, Tsunade's expression turned serious.

After presenting the scroll, Uchiha Yosuke's demeanor also became solemn.

"Tsunade Captain, after returning from Naka Shrine, Elder Setsuna handed this intelligence scroll to me in secret."

As Tsunade opened the scroll, anger flared in her eyes. After reading, she slammed her fist onto the table in front of her.

Crack!

The table broke!

"Damn it!"

Tsunade's light brown eyes blazed with fury. She was outraged at being plotted against. The scroll's contents were simple: it detailed how Yosuke foresaw some events, such as Nawaki's death and Tsunade's resulting emotional turmoil, which could be used against her. Additionally, her planned medical proposal was likely to be brought up at the jōnin meeting.

Given Nawaki's death, Tsunade's stance on this issue would only become more resolute.

This intelligence, which seemed meticulously crafted based on Tsunade's personality, was designed to exploit her vulnerabilities, demonstrating that the planner knew her well. After all, very few people knew about her medical proposal plan. This infuriated Tsunade.

Seeing her anger, Uchiha Yosuke, keeping his composure, lowered his head and spoke solemnly:

"Tsunade Captain, Elder Setsuna isn't in great health and probably only has two or three years left."

Since previous intelligence had already been proven true with Nawaki's incident, Yosuke presented a believable but heavy-hearted front, suggesting that the information might actually have come from the enemy.

"Tsunade Captain, I believe it's the work of enemy spies aiming to sow discord between the Senju Clan and the village."

Tsunade smirked coldly as she looked at him.

"Kid, no wonder the Uchiha allowed you to approach Kushina. It's likely due to this intelligence, right?"

She tossed the intelligence scroll to Yosuke, who caught it and feigned shock as he read its contents.

"This... this!"

The content was essentially the same as the mission he'd revealed: to get close to a target. The only difference was the target. Yosuke was ordered by his clan to approach Kushina Uzumaki, the future Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, while this intelligence spoke of a similar approach towards Tsunade, the princess of the Land of Fire's Senju Clan.

"Why so silent, kid?" Tsunade mocked as she observed Yosuke's embarrassed demeanor.

Yosuke's reaction only deepened her suspicion. Despite his passionate speech about the village's founding by Senju and Uchiha, it became clear to her that he was an idealistic child. His personality—serious, fervent, and committed to his clan and village—made him a fitting candidate to replace Elder Setsuna when the time came. She was starting to see Yosuke as an asset with both fervor and loyalty.

Tsunade sighed and thought that once the elder passed, this young Uchiha could take over his intelligence network. It would be almost like having control herself.

"Kid, you're far too naive!" she remarked. From her perspective, the "enemy spy" theory Yosuke suggested was laughable. If an enemy could infiltrate Konoha so deeply, it would mean the village was as porous as a sieve.

Tsunade's interpretation of the intelligence was clear: it seemed like an olive branch from the Uchiha Clan, aiming to bridge the gap and gain the village's trust.

"Tsunade Captain, I..."

Yosuke looked flustered. This task of approaching Kushina was shameful, especially for a proud Uchiha. Most would rather face combat on the Rain Country front lines than undertake this mission. Tsunade, noticing his discomfort, gave a proud huff.

"Kid, the Senju Clan acknowledges your clan's goodwill. As for Kushina, I won't interfere, but remember not to try any tricks!"

Hearing the warning in her tone, Yosuke firmly nodded.

"Tsunade Captain, don't worry. I swear on the honor of the Uchiha Clan!"

He knew full well the risks of pursuing Kushina. Any moves on his part would put him in direct conflict with those allied with the Third Hokage, possibly leading to a fate similar to Nawaki's. Instead, Yosuke intended only to go through the motions for this assignment.

"Kid, let this matter end here," Tsunade declared.

"Yes, Tsunade Captain. I understand the importance of confidentiality and the Uchiha Clan has countermeasures in place to prevent information leaks. I assure you, nothing will be revealed," Yosuke replied firmly.

Tsunade recognized the Uchiha Clan's gesture of goodwill. Using genjutsu to force Yosuke would only harm this growing trust. As for Yosuke, he felt a sense of relief seeing Tsunade accept the clan's goodwill. For taking on the burden of Elder Setsuna's "dark deeds," he thought, 'This is all for the clan'. He was sure Elder Setsuna would approve.
