273 Prisoner Exchange Part 1

Priest Ji came out from his thoughts and said "Me and Lord Jiro were never able to meet the child who has presented us with this opportunity, have we?" he glanced at Jiro and winked who also nodded and said

"No, we haven't met him yet. Moji how is the kid's condition?"

Moji waved his hand and said "Do not worry about that. I made sure that the kid was kept in a private cell and it was guarded at all times and meals 3 times a day were sent to his cell. The kid won't even have a single scratch on his body. I have instructed my people as such.

"But we would still like to meet him. I am sure you understand my curiosity, Lord Moji." Jiro insisted.

Moji's smile instantly lessened as he heard that. He wouldn't have any problem with Jiro meeting the kid but he knew that Priest Ji was somewhat of a psychopath. Moji had even heard that Ji would kidnap kids to sacrifice them and gain more powers. Every member of the Jashin cult was known to do something heinous like that.

Moji glanced at Priest Ji with a little bit of worry that his golden ticket might get taken away by Ji. Jiro noticed Moji's behavior and understood what Moji was thinking. He reassured Moji by saying

"Priest Ji remember if even a drop of blood belonging to that kid is spilled before he safely reaches the hands of the bloodline clan, I will make sure that the next demon heart is made from your sacrifice." Jiro said nonchalantly but the threat was real and Ji knew this better than anyone.

Even though he was called a priest, there were many others above him in the cult and they wouldn't hesitate a single moment to sacrifice Ji to be in the good books of Jiro and the hidden stone, after all they were able to spread this far and wide only because of Jiro's support and his help in keeping the hidden stone's elders and the Tsuchikage in the dark.

Priest Ji smiled and said "No no...I have no intention to harm that young kid. After all, it was because of him that we were able to create such an elaborate plan to get all the main players of the bloodline clan together."

Moji was a bit relieved when he heard about Jiro's threat and Ji's statement so he decided to lead them toward the prison cell where Yami was now staying. As he reached the cell he looked at one of the guards nearby and asked "Has the kid said anything?"

The guard shook his head and said "No...he has always been quiet and kept to himself and only no one has any interaction except Sho or Ron who give him meals."

Moji then signaled the guard to open the door. As the guard opened they saw Yami sleeping on the bed. Moji was about to shout his name Yuta to wake him up but he then saw Priest Ji slowly walking toward the sleeping Yami.

Moji didn't like this and was going to stop him but Jiro waved his hand indicating Moji to not worry about anything. Yami's safety was important for Jiro as well.

Priest Ji came close to Yami and poked his cheek lightly with his index finger. He looked back at Jiro and Moji with a creepy smile and said "Such innocent kids make the best sacrifice for demons. I wish I could have him."

Yami who was just laying there with his eyes closed wanted to attack Ji the moment he touched Yami's cheeks. No one had dared to do that to him since he came to this world.

'I am going to kill this fucking pedophile for touching me.' Yami thought as he felt a little angry.

"So why did the two of you want to meet the kid?" Moji asked. He still didn't know why Jiro wanted to see the kid who he hadn't cared about for the past week or two.

"We actually wanted the kid to be in my custody till the time we exchange it with the bloodline clans. It's not like we don't trust your security but the bloodline faction will be more inclined to negotiate with us who only have border enmity with them while what you guys have is much deeper." Jiro said.

Seeing that Moji wasn't completely convinced by this reason, priest Ji decided to butter him up a little. He walked toward Moji and said "You don't care if the kid lives or dies do you, Lord Moji? If the kid is with us then you don't need to worry about guarding him the whole time. You and your people can focus on killing the bloodline clan bastards. And have you forgotten the 16 new shinobis that I have given you? Just think about how many more bloodline clan bastards will die by their hands if they don't need to protect a civilian child."

'This Ji is pretty slick with his words but what he is saying isn't wrong? I don't give a damm if this kid dies...I just don't want it to be under my watch or else the hidden leaf will be after me. I rather pass on this headache to the hidden stone and let them deal with the fallout if anything happens.' Moji thought. He didn't see any way that he could suffer a loss with this deal. He knew that Jiro and ji won't give an offer which doesn't benefit them but he couldn't care less as his dream of eradicating all the bloodline clans together in one fell swoop was going to be accomplished today.

Jiro then looked at the guard who had opened the door and said "Get the kid cleaned and dressed up properly until my men arrive to take him."

The guard looked at Moji for confirmation and Moji also gave him a small nod. He then proceeded to exit the cell. He did notice Priest Ji glancing at the sleeping kid while leaving the cell but Jiro again assured him that Ji wouldn't do anything to endanger the kid.

As they exited the prison, Jiro let Moji go back to his office while he began walking toward the road where his people were waiting. As Ji was walking side by side with Jiro, he noticed that Jiro had put his hand over his shoulder. Ji felt it to be very odd as he and Jiro didn't have that kind of a relationship where they would be so friendly with each other but he then noticed that the grip of Jiro's arm on his shoulder was tightening.

Before he could free himself, Jiro brought his mouth closer to Ji and said "I don't want you to pull anything funny on the kid. Remember that...the elders will bury me alive if we have to face the hidden leaf because of a pathetic civilian kid." Jiro said as he grit his teeth. He didn't like Jiro's behavior in the cell as it was making Moji more hesitant in leaving the kid to Jiro.

Ji who was now tightly in Jiro's grasp just nodded and Jiro let him go. He clicked his tongue as he had planned on putting one of those failed demon hearts in Yami as well.

'So what if I can't control the kid, I can use the guards around him...hehe..at the end of the day all I want is chaos.' Ji thought as he and Jiro parted ways.

Everything was going smoothly and an hour later everyone was on their way to the meeting place. Yami was now guarded by 5 people who were wearing mist shinobi clothes but from one look Yami could tell that something was wrong with them. Yami guessed that these must be the people who had the demon hearts installed in them.

On the other side of the hidden mist, Kakashi and the leaf shinobis had gathered with the clan leaders and were going to the meeting place. The army of the bloodline clan was also encroaching little by little from the sides of the nearby coast. They didn't want the civilian villages to know as a spy planted there could cause their plans to leak.

At the last moment before going to the meet, Kakashi said that he and the two jonins with him will go dressed as leaf shinobis while the genins of Kurenai and Asuma squad will roam the civilian villages around disguised as civilians. The others including the clan leaders found it very odd but they didn't see it as a problem because Moji and Jiro were more likely to cooperate when they see that two of the three leaf shinobis with them are the copy ninja and the son of the third Hokage.

20 minutes later Yami who was walking suddenly saw everyone stop. He then noticed a shinobi run to Moji and say "Lord Moji, we see the bloodline clan leaders as well as 3 leaf shinobis standing at the meeting area."

"Leaf shinobis?" Moji asked with a frown on his face. He looked at Jiro who shook his head and said "We had no idea that the bloodline clans had established contact with the hidden leaf."
