Deal with the Devil

Yami could have easily dodged the attack by dispersing into bats but then he would have to get back and materialize back. This would not just slow down his momentum but give Moji and Jiro the time to organize their forces better and increase the gap between Ji and Yami.

Seeing that there were so many downsides to using that option, Yami decided to take the head-on approach. He spreads his right hand to the side shaping them like a claw and then lightning started accumulating inside his claw. Kakashi and the others were a little confused as they saw this. They had seen Yami use Chidori a few times but this didn't look like it nor did it have the sound of multiple birds chirping like the Chidori.

The two jutsus casted by Jiro and Moji had already reached almost halfway by this time. They didn't know what Yami was trying to do but they were sure that if Yami was trying to block the 2 jutsus with a melee defensive attack then the least that will happen is his entire arm will be obliterated.

Yami rotated his hand in front of him. A zig-zag beam of lightning left his clawed palm and started moving toward the 2 enemy jutsus. Just when everyone thought that this jutsu couldn't get any weirder Yami shouted...

Lightning Release : Lightning Hound.

The lightning beam became bigger and started to take some kind of shape. Slowly slowly the shape of an animal bigger than a dog was formed. It didn't have eyes of any color just holes but it had razor sharp teeth and even sharper claws. Everyone on the battlefield could hear its growl. Seeing a jutsu like this Jiro and Moji were both taken apart.

No one had the time to react much to it as the spears made of compressed earth had almost reached the hound. Everyone thought that the hound will neutralize the spear or weaken it and then Yami will deal with Moji's water drill but as the spear reached the hound, the hound lifted his claw and slammed it into the ground. Jiro didn't understand how that was even possible. Even the clan leaders and others from the bloodline clans were astounded seeing how such a strong jutsu was crushed.

"Did it just snap the earth spear jutsu which is an A-rank jutsu like a twig?" Mei asked as she looked at her father for an answer.

"What kind of a jutsu was that?" Elder Wu asked to which Yoshiro said "The power that the jutsu has just shown tells me that it is an S-ranked jutsu."

By this time Moji's water drill had reached the hound. It was a very strong jutsu as it devastated the land it passed close to. Moji was confident that the hound would be destroyed when it comes in contact with his water drill.

This time instead of waiting for the water drill to make contact with him, the hound pounced on the drill and bit it head-on. Immediately, a crater was formed around both the jutsus. Moji wanted to go ahead and release some other jutsu to aid his water drill but the energy being released from the clash pushed him back.

"Dammit…I am unable to interfere." Moji said.

BOOMMM

A big explosion occurred releasing a shockwave on all sides. Everyone was curious to see what the aftermath of the clash was. The stone and mist shinobis that had surrounded Yami were also pushed back from the attack. As the dust settled everyone saw that Yami was pushed back nearly 4 feet but Moji was pushed back 7 feet.

"This kid keeps giving surprise after surprises" Riko said with a big smile on his face. Due to the explosion, the walls meant to block him were also destroyed which gave Riko the chance to regroup with the other clan leaders.

"But we seem to be late." Elder Wu said as he pointed behind Moji and Jiro. As everyone looked in that direction, they saw a big animal walking toward the battlefield with a man standing on top of its head.

Most of the forces on both sides were petrified in fear just by looking at such a large animal. They had never seen or even imagined something like this. Most of them had heard stories about how the monster looked but they thought it was an exaggeration. But now seeing him in the flesh they understood that they not lying… in fact the animal looked more dangerous than it was described.

That wasn't the most shocking thing though. As they looked at the man standing on top of the animal then they immediately recognized him to be Priest Ji but something was wrong with him. He was missing one arm and his eyes had turned black completely. He had blood trickling down his mouth and eyes and it was black in color.

"Ji, what happened to you?" Jiro asked with a look of fear evident on his face. When Ji had told them to go and hold off the enemy until he communicates with the monster, Ji was totally fine but now he looked like someone straight out of a nightmare.

Ji glanced at his severed arm and then rubbed the blood trickling down his mouth between his fingers and said "Haha…let's just say I had to make a deal with the devil."

By this time the monster had walked exactly in front of Jiro and Moji. The mist and stone shinobis around them and backed away from the monster.

"I hope with this new deal, I can finally get what I deserve, huh?" Moji smirked as he spread his hands and looked at the battlefield as if implying the entire hidden mist island belonged to him.

The bloodline clan leaders and the others clenched their fists as they heard that. After performing so many atrocities against their bloodline clans, Moji still had the audacity to say this.

Ji chuckled and said "Yes you will get what you deserve." And immediately a scream spread throughout the battlefield.

Aaaaaa

The spike on the monster's tail had pierced through Moji's stomach. The tail lifted up the entire body of Moji and brought him in front of Ji at eye level. Everyone was taken aback seeing the sudden attack on Moji. They didn't expect Ji to betray Moji at such a crucial moment.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS JI?" Jiro shouted. Ji ignored Jiro's angry question and looked at the dying Moji with a smile on his face.

"W-why?" Moji asked. He didn't understand why Ji would do this.

"Because you are fucking useless. The new deal doesn't include you nor does it include the hidden mist being the hidden mist anymore." Moji didn't quite understand what Ji was implying but he didn't have the strength to ask anything and just turned into a corpse. The monster flicked his tail throwing away the limp body of Moji a few meters away on the battlefield.

The shinobis from both sides looked at the corpse of Moji and gulped their saliva. They didn't expect such a strong shinobi would die so easily. Jiro also understood that he can't order Ji around like he used to and now Ji had the upper hand.

"Ji, what do you mean when you said that the hidden mist won't be the hidden mist anymore." Jiro asked in a calm voice. Ji just nodded at Jiro and then looked at the shinobis on the battlefield and shouted "After killing each and every bloodline clan shinobi and civilian, the hidden mist will be turned into the base of the Jashin cult. All of you shinobis from the Mizukage faction listen to me. Either become a member of the Jashin cult and enjoy unlimited power like me and my men or end up as an appetizer for my ally over here."

The shinobis of bloodline clans were horrified to listen that Ji had casually said that they and everyone in their clan will be wiped out while the shinobis of the Mizukage faction were confused as to what they should do. It didn't take time for a few squad leaders of the Mizukage faction and their clan leaders to come forward and accept Ji's offer.

"We happily agree to become a part of the Jashin cult and serve you, Priest Ji." A squad leader stepped forward and said with a forced smile on his face. He removed his mist headband and threw it on the ground.

Seeing him openly disrespect the headband like this Riko shouted "HOW DARE YOU DO THAT YOU COWARD?" Even though they were from the enemy faction, they were still mist shinobis and everyone needed to respect the headband.

The mist shinobis of the Mizukage faction hesitated for a second but they didn't want to become food for the monster in front of them so they undid their headband and threw it onto the ground as well.

Seeing them obey so easily a wide smile appeared on Ji's face showing his teeth covered in black blood. "Welcome my fellow cultists." He then looked at Yami and the clan leaders and said "It's time for your meal. I apologize we couldn't present them to you in a more appetizing way."

The monster roared as he heard that and stepped into the battlefield staring at the bloodline clan shinobis.
