Chapter 2: Finally, the Ninja World!
"Don't rush, I still need to finish my explanation."
'Is he going to talk even more?'
"Yes, but it will be quick, I just want to avoid unnecessary worries in the future.
When you reincarnate, your origin will be that of an orphan who has ancestors from the Yuki clan (Hyouton) and the Chinoike clan (Ketsuryuugan) to explain your kekkei genkai.
Your soul will merge with that of a baby, but not completely. For six months, part of your soul will be an observer who cannot be more than 10 meters away from the body. After six months, your soul will be 'sucked' into the body, and the fusion will be complete.
The reason for this is that I want you to understand the circumstances that brought you to Konoha."
'I understand. It will be a bit boring to do nothing for six months, but it's better than being thrown into the ninja world without knowing how I got to Konoha, and anyway, it's not like I could do anything as a baby.'
"Now that I've finished speaking, good luck in your new life!"
God clapped his hands, and immediately my vision darkened. I didn't even have time to process his last words.
The white void that once contained two figures now has only one. The figure moves its arm, and a TV screen appears in front of it.
"Now it's time to watch your life. Try to show me a good story, boy."

In a beautiful forest covered by winter snow, located somewhere in the Land of Hot Water, a group of six people is passing through, jumping from tree to tree. If a normal person looked in their direction, they would barely see their silhouettes moving, showing the superhuman speed of these individuals.
"Stop, I detected a village ahead; it looks like it suffered some kind of attack."
The figure leading the group stopped and warned the other members, who stopped right behind him.
With everyone stopped, it was possible to observe the figures correctly. They all had different appearances, but they had something in common: they all wore a dark green vest and a headband with the symbol of a leaf tied to their foreheads.
"Should we go check it out?"
One of the figures asked the old man leading the group.
"Let's approach first; there may be some survivors."
"Understood, captain!"
The people nodded and started moving towards the village. When they got closer, they could observe the destruction, several houses turned to rubble, and some on fire.
"How horrible."
"Indeed, it's a shame, but unfortunately, it's a common sight in times of war…"
The group conversed until the captain interrupted them and said:
"I will extend my chakra field; maybe I can detect a survivor."
The group leader placed two fingers on the ground and extended his chakra field to cover the entire village and a few meters around it.
"It seems there were no survivors… no, I detected a small chakra signal, but it's very weak."
"Chakra? Could it be an ambush?"
"No, the chakra level is very low, and even if it's a ninja hiding their presence, they can't be very strong since they couldn't hide completely. However, don't let your guard down; it could be a trap.
You two come with me; the others stay here and be alert for any strange movements."
After speaking, he started running with his two subordinates towards the location where he sensed the chakra. In the blink of an eye, they appeared in front of a pile of debris and began to search. When they removed part of the debris, they were surprised by what they saw.
A man and a woman were hugging, using their bodies to protect a baby who seemed to be sleeping soundly in their arms.
"It seems the parents sacrificed themselves to protect their child…"
"Yes…"
The captain approached the baby and picked him up, then a green light shone in his hand that he placed on the child's head.
"Fortunately, he is not injured; it looks like he's only a few days old. He also has no seals or genjutsu on his body, so we can rule out the idea of a trap set by some ninja.
I must admit, I'm surprised; I didn't expect to find a child born with awakened chakra."
"Born with awakened chakra? That's rare."
"Yes, children born with awakened chakra are usually very talented. What should we do with him?"
The old man thought for a bit and replied:
"Let's take him with us to Konoha. It would be good to have another talented ninja in our ranks."
…
In this world, children usually awaken their chakra after the age of 3, but some talents unlock their chakra before the age of 3. This child is an example.
…
While the group was talking, the boy began to open his eyes. He had light blond hair, skin so white it seemed albino, and gray eyes.
When he woke up, he looked at the old man's face and pulled his beard while laughing.
"It seems he likes you captain hahaha"
"Stop laughing! You're only laughing because it's not you. This child has a strangely strong grip hahaha"
While the group laughed at the cute baby's antics, they couldn't imagine that there was a person floating around them, observing the scene.
'They really can't see me.'
After leaving the white void, my mind was dark for a few hours until I regained consciousness and found myself in the middle of several debris next to two corpses and a baby.
'I was really scared because I couldn't touch anything or move too far away.
Luckily, about 10 minutes after I regained consciousness, this group of Konoha ninjas appeared. I almost thought that 'God' was joking with me and I would die before even merging with my new body.
Now there's nothing I can do but observe.'
The group, completely unaware of being watched, continued to talk.
"Captain, let me hold him for a bit."
"Okay."
When the old man handed the child to his subordinate, as soon as the baby left his arms, he started crying, making the old man take him back instantly, which also made the child stop crying.
The old man then looked at his subordinate with a proud face.
"It seems he only likes me."
"That's so unfair…"
While the two talked, the third person was doing their best to hold back their laughter. And the human floating around them thought of something.
'I have a feeling I will end up being adopted by this old man, judging by how things are going. What clan is he from?'
I started looking at the old man's clothes, trying to find a clan symbol, when I looked at his shoulder and saw a symbol printed on his clothes.
'Isn't that the Senju clan symbol? I thought they had disappeared since I don't remember any living Senju, except Tsunade, appearing in the anime.
Well, that doesn't matter. If I get adopted by a Senju, it will be great. I'm sure they have several water release scrolls, some might even have been made by Tobirama himself!'
I was really happy. The Senju clan might not be as strong as before, but they should still have several resources at their disposal, considering they were one of the founding clans of Konoha.
While I was lost in thought, the group started moving.
'I think they are finally going back to the village.'
....
Almost a day and a half later, the group of six, now seven, individuals arrived in Konoha.
"All right, the mission is completed. You can go rest; I will report to Lord Hokage."
"Right!"
The group responded in unison and dispersed, while the old man walked towards the Hokage's office with a baby in his arms.
When he entered the office, he saw Hiruzen and Danzo with papers in hand and tired expressions.
"Lord Third, I came to report the completion of the mission."
"Welcome back, Seijuro. I'm glad you returned safely, but who is the little one?"
"This is another reason why I came to report personally to Lord Hokage."
Seijuro began to recount the events that led him to find the baby. He also mentioned that the child was born with awakened chakra channels.
Both were shocked by the news, and Danzo, who had been silently listening, didn't miss the opportunity to speak.
"Hiruzen, give me this child to train. He will be a great addition to Root in the future if we develop his talents properly."
'No!!!!!!!!!'
I screamed with all my might, even knowing no one could hear me.
'If I'm handed over to Danzo, it will be like signing my death sentence. Please, old man, don't put my head on the guillotine!'
I begged Seijuro, hoping he would save me from the embrace of death. After all, Hiruzen would hardly oppose Danzo in this case, considering he had a soft spot for him in the anime.
"No, I intend to adopt him as my grandson and train him personally to be a ninja."
"But Seijuro-" Danzo tried to argue.
"No buts, this is my final decision." Seijuro didn't let him continue speaking.
I sighed in relief; I was very scared of being handed over to Danzo.
'Thank you so much, old man, I should call you 'grandpa' from now on.'
While I was revering Seijuro as a god, he continued to speak.
"Furthermore, I would like to announce my official retirement."
"Are you crazy, Seijuro? We are still at war, how can you retire at a time like this?" This time, it was Hiruzen who spoke, perplex.
"Hokage, no, Hiruzen my friend, I'm older than you and still active as a ninja. I'm far from my peak. If I keep working, I'll end up dying soon.
So, understand, my old friend, I've lost many things during the war and I'm alone. That's why I'd like to spend my last years away from the battlefield.
I want to turn this child into the heir of my legacy. I've always wanted to be a grandfather and this little one can give some meaning to the little time I have left."
Realizing he wouldn't be able to convince his old friend, Hiruzen sighed and said, "Seijuro… you're still strong, you can live for many more years, and you've already left a great legacy in the village."
"Hiruzen, you and I both know that after we die, our achievements will be forgotten as time passes. That's why I want to leave something for the future generation and I wish for this boy to carry part of my will in the future."
"It seems you've already made up your mind… Very well, thank you for all your efforts to this day, Seijuro Senju!"
"Thank you, Hiruzen. I'll be taking my leave now."
When Seijuro left, Danzo immediately complained to Hiruzen.
"What were you thinking, Hiruzen?! How can you let him retire at a time like this? Besides, that child would be perfect for Root!"
"Danzo, you know very well how stubborn Seijuro is.
That was his final decision, no matter what we do, he won't change his mind. Also, he was right. Not just him, but you and I are old, we may still be strong but we are far from our prime."
Hiruzen stood up and began observing the village.
'I think it's time to decide my successor.'
...…
Outside the Hokage's office.
'Beautiful words, grandpa, but I didn't like the fact that you talked as if my life was already decided. Know that I will walk my own path.'
I was really moved by Seijuro's words. If I were a child, I would say the 'will of fire' is burning in my heart.
'I think he's going to the Senju clan complex now.'
Seijuro began to move, heading towards a forest. When he reached the entrance, I could see the walls with the Senju symbol on them and the houses that seemed to blend perfectly with the surrounding trees.
'Is this the Senju clan complex? It's beautiful, but why are there so few houses?'
While I looked around, grandpa continued to walk. Whenever someone passed by him, they greeted him respectfully, calling him 'elder.'
'So he's an elder of the clan? My future is secured!'
Seijuro continued walking deeper into the forest and away from the other houses. After a few minutes of walking, I could see a two-story house built in the style of feudal Japan. Nearby was a small lake, now frozen thanks to the winter.
"What do you think, little one? This is your new home, beautiful, isn't it? Wait until spring, when the flowers bloom, the landscape will be even more beautiful."
'It's really beautiful.' I responded, even knowing I wouldn't be heard.
Grandpa entered the house. The furniture was simple and very clean; it had a cozy atmosphere.
He looked at a calendar on the wall and said:
"Today is December 31st. Since I'm now your grandfather and you don't have many days of life, we'll celebrate your birthday on this day every year.
I think the days will be more lively from today onward.
Come to think of it, I still haven't given you a name…"
Seijuro started thinking deeply and looked out the window where he saw snowflakes falling.
"Fuyuki… Fuyuki Senju, that will be your name. Do you like it?"
The baby in his arms began to laugh as if approving the name.
'Fuyuki… it's a good name. We'll get along well from now on, grandpa.'
I was satisfied with my new name.
'I'll have a good life in this world.'
And so, before I realized, two years had passed.
