Is he a tsundere?

Ino searched the school grounds but couldn't find a shadow of the red head. It seemed that Naruto all but disappeared.

She searched the playground, various empty classrooms, the target range, even the school library but she still couldn't find Naruto.

As she was thinking of giving up she soon spotted a large group of boys running. She moved away as they didn't seem to notice her. They were too busy talking to each other, just as she was going to call them and tell them to watch where they were going she heard their conversations.

"Quickly let's go"

"Tch, it seems the Inuzuka clan heir's group found the loser first! I'm pretty sure they went to the rooftop"

"Ah, I wanted to taste Yamanaka-san's homemade meal too, how the hell did the dead last get her to give it to him?!"

"Maybe he tricked her?! My mom said that he was bad news" One of the students in the group said as they made their way to the roof.

Hearing that Ino suddenly froze and thought to her 'Did I cause him trouble?!'

'I mean I am extremely cute and beautiful... Awe man, Darn it Ino!' She scolded herself 'I implicated my benefactor, AAH why do I have to be so cute!?' She thought as she chased after the group of boys.

She knew that most boys in the class had a crush on her. Though they didn't confess to her since she was 'infatuated' with Uchiha Sasuke. Ino was pretty sure that they didn't cause Sasuke any trouble because of how he easily dominated everyone in their class spars as well as during the target practice.

If they tried to bully him, won't the bullies themselves get beat up instead?

'Jeez, Why do you have to hide your skills? If you didn't, then this wouldn't have happened!' Ino thought as she scolded the red head that she pictured in her mind

She ran after the group of boys. After about ten minutes of running up some stairs she finally saw the light from the door. Running out, she saw Naruto's confrontation with Kiba. She was how Kiba approached him and how he tried to ignore the Inuzuka before it escalated.

Before she even realized it, they were already raring to use their fists.

"What a coincidence, I was thinking the same thing..." she heard the red headed boy speak before they both catapulted to each other with closed fists. The next thing she knew Naruto turned into a red blur before attacking Inuzuka Kiba.

"What a coincidence, I was thinking the same thing..." Naruto said as he tensed his body.

Clenching his fists tightly, he finally let a little of his true emotions go. Someone actually took the time to do something good for him, granted it was a 'thank you' but still. It was still a gesture that no one in the village had ever done for him.

Despite the annoyance of the blonde princess, it seemed she had a good heart or at the very least not prone to owing others.

It was customary for him to finish the food even if it was bad, after all he could see the intent from her cooking. It was... handmade, it didn't seem like she was poisoning him after all apart from looking funny it tasted pretty good.

It seemed that it was the blonde princess' first time cooking, he was honored even if he was a testing dummy.. Or at least that's what he thought was going on. Maybe she was just practicing so she could perfect her cooking, then when she does master it she can cook something for Sasuke.

Still, to him food was food. For someone who finds it hard to buy even cup ramen, something like a homecooked meal was foreign to him. After finishing the food, he was going to give the Yamanaka a review about it so she can improve. A helping hand to someone who was kind to him, help her improve her cooking so she can bag the Uchiha.

But now it was ruined. He was angry.

The Inuzuka obviously targeted him from the start. Though he wanted none of that. He didn't want to get into unnecessary trouble, so he refrained from refuting the Inuzuka and ignored him. Though this time he touched his bottom line, wasting food and worst of all wasting someone's heartfelt effort.

But even worse, not only did he do both he did one more thing, 'He wasted my damn lunch! Do you know how hard it is to find fresh veggies in the forest?' It was the first time Naruto had salad with good ingredients!

He locked onto the Inuzuka as he ran towards him with the intent of turning him into a punching bag. Naruto merely scoffed as he blurred towards the Inuzuka. From the widened eyes all around him, he guessed they couldn't follow his movements. He expected that, he knew for a while he was more advanced than most of his classmates, spending hours on end on training his physical body.

Tilting his head to dodge Kiba's punch, he lifted his knee to hit the Inuzuka's abdomen before he turned and performed a round house kick to the Inuzuka's face. It sent him flying into the crowd of boys, hitting and knocking a couple down. The fight ended as soon as it started, only a split second for his foe to be defeated.

"Ugh..."

"Ack... get off me!"

"Dude, help me up!"

Various boys shouted as they quickly got the unconscious clan heir off of them. When they looked back they found a red head with narrowed eyes staring at them. Some of them flinched at his look before they hear him.

"Do anyone else want to try?" He asked as every boy shook their heads.

"Then take the Inuzuka away and get lost" Naruto said before he grabbed the now fallen bento and started scooping the remaining salad that was left on the floor.

"Let's go, he really is a demon" One of the boys said.

"Yeah, my parents were right."

"What a freak, is he gonna eat that? It fell on the ground" Another boy said.

They were all so shaken from Kiba's quick defeat they didn't notice the target of their affection was standing near them. Yamanaka Ino stared at the red head in wonder, 'why did he seem so upset when the food fell down? It's just food' she thought as she approached him.

She approached the boy but before she could talk it seemed he already knew she was there as he apologized. He did so without turning to her, too busy with trying to pick up the salad.

"Sorry"

'...?' Ino was confused at his apology. "Sorry for what?" she asked.

"I let your effort get wasted. It's your first time making someone a bento right?" He merely said as Ino widened her eyes. Glancing back at the red head she felt her heart beat fasten and her face burn up.

*ba-dump*

"It's okay" She merely stated but that seemed to upset him more.

"No it's not, you put effort in something you obviously had no knowledge in only for it to get wasted. I merely wasted your time" He said before closing up the bento and wrapping it. He stood up and handed it to her before walking away.

"????" Ino still in a confused state didn't know what she was talking about. Shaking her head she looked back at his figure that was about to leave through the door. "Then I'll just have to make you another one!" She yelled and he stopped for a second before turning his head back.

"Why?" He said, she could feel his desire for her answer. She only smiled brightly as she replied.

"Why wouldn't I?" She said tilting her her. She saw the boy's eyes widen slightly before quickly turning his head back. "Tch, f-fine suite yourself. But don't misunderstand and think I'll enjoy it though, I'm merely using you for free food"

With that he left. Though Ino could have sworn his ears were red, she also picked up on the slight stutter at the start of his sentence.

'Is he a tsundere?' Ino questioned before she smirked. 'Hmph! Fine then, Uzumaki Naruto... I'll make you fall for me!'
