Konohagakure No Sato.
Chunin Exams Stadium.
Everyone was in high spirits as all the participants started to walk into the tournament ground.
Jin, Naruto, Tenten, Temari, Shion, Choji, Gaara all were there. All except Sasuke.
Just like in the canon, Sasuke was late and being the first match did him no favours either.
Hiruzen saw this and was very unimpressed with Kakashi's lethargic behaviour. This is not how a ninja supposes to act.
"Where is Sasuke Uchiha" The Sand Kage spoke.
Only Jin out of all the people in the village knew that the real Kazekage has been long dead and this person sitting beside Hokage is none other than the snake Sannin, Orochimaru.
Orochimaru was getting a little restless after not seeing Sasuke. He had invested a lot in Sasuke and wanted to know whether he could be the right container for him or not.
Everyone in the stadium was talking about this as well. They were finding where Sasuke Uchiha is. Naruto and Sasuke have to fight in the first round and here Sasuke is late.
All the participants were there. And they were feeling the tension. Particularly Sakura and Ino who could not spot their Sasuke Kun and were going mad because the first match was his.
Naruto on the other was also looking for Sasuke. He did not tell anyone but he too was looking forward to this battle. The most amazing thing about Naruto and Sasuke's relationship is that both acknowledge each other as rivals but never acknowledge each other point of view.
"If Sasuke does not come in time then I have to disqualify him from the Chunin exams." Said Hiruzen after getting information from his anbu that Sasuke no were to be found.
Orochimaru could not have that as we have interested in Sasuke's growth.
"Why now wait a little more Hokage Dono? Almost all the people here are excited about seeing the last royal Uchiha and his fight." Said Orochimaru wanting to change his old sensei's decision.
Hiruzen also understands that part of the fault for Sasuke being late is Kakashi's. Another very important thing is that Kazekage was right. Sasuke is a very strong promotional material for the village right now and he needs to use that.
"Huh, Okay I guess we can post-pone his match by a little but not much" said Hiruzen
After getting the news that Sasuke's battle was delayed. Proctor ask Temari and Tenten to come to the fighting ground.
Temari fly on her big fan and landed on the while Tenten simply walk in.
Temari was confident about winning without any trouble as her opponent was someone who mainly use weapons throwing skills and close-rank Kin Jutsu.
She is mainly a long rang fighter and she had a huge advantage when it comes to fighting Tenten because of her wind style.
Tenten on the other hand knew this and was ready to handle whatever came her way. She had specially trained to defeat Tenten who is naturally her biggest competitor.
Temari and Tenten, two of the most skilled kunoichi in the Hidden Leaf Village, stood facing each other on the battlefield. They were both armed with their respective weapons and were ready to engage in a fierce battle.
Temari, with her fan in hand, began to move towards Tenten. Tenten, on the other hand, held her weapon, a set of lethal throwing needles, and waited for Temari to come to her.
As the battle began, Temari began to whirl her fan, generating a powerful wind that pushed Tenten back. Tenten was able to dodge the gust of wind by jumping to the side and throwing a few needles at Temari.
Temari easily blocked the needles with her fan, but Tenten used the distraction to run towards her and deliver a swift kick to her abdomen. Temari was caught off guard and staggered back, allowing Tenten to take advantage of the opening.
Tenten was learning Taijutsu from Guy and was working hard to increase her speed so she could handle Temari's winds.
Tenten continued her attack, throwing a barrage of needles at Temari, who struggled to defend herself. Temari tried to use her fan to deflect the needles, but Tenten was too quick, and she managed to land a few hits.
Temari then decided to use her ultimate technique, the Great Sickle Weasel Technique. She summoned a massive weasel made of sand that charged towards Tenten, intending to crush her.
Tenten quickly realized that she was outmatched and needed to come up with a strategy fast. She began to analyze Temari's movements and techniques, looking for a weakness.
Suddenly, Tenten spotted a small opening in Temari's defence. She quickly took advantage of the opportunity and threw a needle at Temari's fan, causing it to fly out of her hand.
Temari was shocked and unable to defend herself as Tenten continued her attack. Tenten threw a needle at Temari's leg, causing her to fall to the ground.
With Temari defenceless, Tenten was able to land the final blow, delivering a devastating kick to Temari's head, knocking her out.
The battle was over, and Tenten emerged as the victor. She had managed to outsmart and outmanoeuvre Temari, proving that her hard training to overcome her worst weakness was not gone in vain.
Tenten was happy not only because she won but also because she knew that if she were to fight Temari in the semi-finals then she would have lost to her, no question ask. But after a month of hard training, she was able to change that outcome.
"WINNER TENTEN".
Proctor said with a smile as a kunoichi of his village won the battle.
Just then when Tenten get out of the stadium and Temari was taken out on a stretcher.
Sasuke And Kakashi entered the Stadium. It was the same dramatic entry which they pulled into the canon with new clothes for Sasuke as well.
