Hammers were actively being used by Tazuna and the few men he could collect to finish up the bridge as fast as possible.

What they were doing was laying the metal foundations for the later concrete that would be layered above.

"We are ready, kid. You can keep it flowing."

So that the work would not take unnecessary long Kaito was also standing close by and made a few hand signs.

With placing his hands into some water the water started moving towards some white substance close by and started mixing itself together with it. The freshly mixed concrete then started moving upwards into a spherical shape and started rotating very fast.

When it was finished mixing the very thick goo then flew towards the construct that was prepared and slowly filled it up to the point where it was needed to be at.

"Thanks. You guys are really useful. If you would not be so damn expensive it would be so much better to let you guys help build up the infrastructure of the country. What wasted potential as soldiers.", grinned Tazuna and started to inspect if the concrete was placed well enough.

Kaito smiled wryly. He had a point there. The wood release alone could build up villages in nearly a blink of an eye. "Just tell me when you are about to make the rest."

"Sure, kid. With your help, it won't be long for the bridge to be finished."

Without really listening to what that bridgebuilder had said Kaito was already moving back over the bridge to the place where the others were currently sparring.

Sakura used a water whip and whipped the living hell out of Naruto's clones.

That brought a small smile to Kaito's face. She, sure enough, got pretty efficient in using the technique to the point where it became second nature.

But the thing was that she was running out of steam and Naruto could just overwhelm her with sheer resilience. Coupled with a massive stamina reserve that is.

"Damn it, Naruto. Just how much chakra do you still have to spare?", complained Sakura and gave up to sit down and recharge her own batteries.

Naruto and his still remaining clones only scratched the back of their heads. "Sorry, Sakura-chan. I never really feel all too exhausted that easily." Then his eyes trailed off to his brother after releasing his clones. "Brother, you are back."

"Yep. I finished up with everything on my side. So, Sakura is complaining about us Uzumaki now or are you genuinely interested in why Naruto got so much steam?", smiled Kaito and said that without thinking much. Only realizing his mistake a second later.

"You Uzumaki?", asked Sasuke from the side now who was actually getting some advice from Kakashi in his lightning release and use of the Sharingan.

Kaito crossed his arms in front of his chest and thought about it a little bit and then just shrugged his shoulders.

"Yes, as you know my brother and I are both Uzumaki. Did no one of you ever hear of that name somewhere before?"

"Should I explain?", asked Kakashi now after the trio looked a little bit confused. But Kaito only shook his head.

"It's alright. It seems a little bit of history lesson is in order. Alright, where do I start? You should know about the Senju clan, right?"

"Who would not know Hashirama Senju, the founder of Konoha.", snorted Sasuke lightly.

"He was the first Hokage, right?", mentioned Naruto thinking a little bit.

"Correct, but who was his wife?", asked Kaito with a smile.

"Ah! It was Mito Uzumaki. I read it in a book. Wait...What does that have to do with anything?", said Sakura and tried to connect the dots.

"The Uzumaki is a clan like the Uchiha or Hyuga that was famous for certain genetical traits. One of them being their high vitality, high chakra, and red hair." The last words were supported with him pointing at his head. "Does that answer your question?"

"Wait, then you two are from a famous clan? But why did I never hear anything about other Uzumaki in Konoha? And how come Naruto is blond?", questioned Sakura.

At this moment Kaito sighed. He could see the confusion in Naruto's eyes as well while Sakura went on a rampage for knowledge.

"That is because our clan is already nearly extinct...You could probably count the survivors of our clan on one hand with Naruto and myself included." He also glanced over to Sasuke that had a clear reaction to that revelation.

Kakashi who heard Kaito's words slowly became solemn and concentrated on what he was about to say, ready at interrupting if he was revealing some stuff that would be detrimental to this team.

"Really...? But I thought the first Hokage was married to one of your clan's members? Would he not have protected the clan of his wife?", asked Sakura confused.

"Sakura...The Uzumaki clan did not have its home in Konoha. There is a country to the right of the Fire country known as the Whirpool country. That was the home of the Uzumaki.

An alliance with Uzushiogakure did exist at first but think about what happened? As soon as the first Hokage died, so did the alliance stop its function. Those marriage alliances only hold until one party dies. Both sides had no obligation to help each other out at that point.

It would have also resulted in total war again if Konoha had sided with another village without having a clear reason to do so. The other villages would have made an alliance and attacked Konoha by then..."

"What!? But were they not allies before that!? How can they just ignore that and let a whole clan just die!?" Now Sasuke was shouting. His anger was clearly shown. It seems he also put some of his own bad emotions into that question.

That actually surprised Kaito. He thought it would be his brother that would burst into outrage but on the contrary, he was just sitting around with a gloomy face and listening while Sasuke was screaming.

"That is...." Kakashi wanted to say something.

"Konoha was weakened because of the previous war. And Kirigakure in the Water country that was further to the right saw the opportunity to get rid of a country that they deemed to be in their territory. There was just no way for them to help. The other hidden villages also just used the opportunity and pressured Konoha. For them, it was a way to get rid of a powerful neutral clan famous for its sealing techniques...."

"That is horrible...", said Sakura while looking down to the ground and then watching over to Sasuke who had gone through the same.

"..." Kakashi looked at the four of them.

"Hey, brother. Let's make sure that someday all the villages get along, alright?", said Naruto now after thinking something through.

That surprised the three besides Kaito who nodded.

"Of course, that is what we promised to do, didn't we? We can't keep our faces down from already spilled milk." He grinned brightly now. "Anyway, now you know why we both got so much chakra. Well, at least more than normal shinobi. But to be correct we are only part Uzumaki since Naruto has blonde hair. Which tells me one of our parents was not an Uzumaki..."

"I see...Still, sorry to have complained about something you can't do about...", answered Sakura.

"Now, should we prepare some grilled meat? Who else is starving?", asked Kakashi now to lighten the mood.

Kaito did raise his hand. "Me! Tazuna also said it won't take long anymore. Only a few sections still remain until the bridge is finished."

"Alright, let's stop training for now and get some rest.", ordered Kakashi and they all went off to Tazuna's house after the workers went home as well.
