46 Glimpse Of True Genius?

"We did it!!" Naruto was screaming joyfully when he stood upon the very peak of the tree that he and Sasuke had been climbing this past week.

Both of them also looked rather exhausted by the amount of chakra that they wasted to get up there.

Kaito was looking up to them and smiled. "Looks like they finally made it." His comment was going towards their Sensei.

Kakashi nodded. "All things considered that is some progress. Now they should be able to train their bodies with body-flicker to gain a higher form of speed. It should help to keep their endurance up against Haku."

Kaito got a weird expression when that technique was mentioned. "Body Flicker, is it?" He scratched the back of his head. "That will be a challenge to teach my brother."

Kakashi chuckled lightly. "Is that so? From my point of view, you are doing a great job! Keep it up! Sakura even learned the chakra scalpel from you."

"Oi, you are getting lazy...Sakura just has an innate talent in it." Kaito looked at Kakashi and sighed at how he could just push most of the training to him. Then his gaze wandered towards Sakura that was currently using her chakra on a finger and carving a wooden figure from a log.

Walking over and leaving Kakashi alone he could see that the design of the figure had some resemblance towards a plant.

"Making a flower? You are doing great.", he commented.

That got Sakura distracted and her chakra blade became dull. "Ah...", she exclaimed. Then looking over to Kaito she frowned. "I am busy here."

"Sorry, sorry. Kakashi-Sensei is just pushing his work on me again. Thought I could lend you a hand.", said Kaito.

"Really? Since Kakashi-sensei became bedridden he has done nearly nothing. Such a lazy guy.", said Sakura while taking a look at Kakashi who had his Icha-Icha book out again. How long was he going to read that anyway?

Kaito smiled wrily. "I know, right? But I kinda enjoy it. Make me rethink some of my stuff as well. Anyway, as soon as those two get down I am going to talk about the next step in their training."

"You are talking about us?", asked Sasuke when he approached them.

"Oh, you are already down? That is good to know. Yeah, I was talking about your next training step. Let me think...", thought Kaito.

"Brother, how about we start training our ninjutsu for once? I am pretty sure the Great Fireball is now pretty large.", suggested Naruto.

"Nope.", denied Kaito immediately.

"Huh? Why?"

"Now that we talk about that. Here, take these." Kaito reached into his pouch and took out four pieces of paper from it. Handing everyone one piece and keeping one to himself he smiled while not saying anything.

"What is this?", asked Naruto first since he was the most impatient one.

"Why don't you go and figure it out?", smiled Kaito. He wondered if they would figure it out quickly.

"A piece of paper? I guess it is somewhat special?", said Sasuke with a raised brow and examined it some more.

Meanwhile, Sakura actually had some reaction from the paper after she infused a tinge of her Chakra into it. Half of it crumbled away and the rest became slightly transparent and moist.

"Looks like Sakura is still the smartest among you three...These are special Chakra-Papers that come from a tree that was grown by daily chakra infusion. When it is made into those paper pieces it has the effect to tell someone what chakra nature the person has after some of it is channeled into the paper." Kaito started explaining after seeing her result.

"Sakura here has Earth and Water affinities. It's because half of it crumbled away to dust and the other became moist and transparent. I would even go to say her two natures are close to being balanced..." Kaito thought about the intensity of the transparence.

It looked like the rest of the paper became slightly harder than before. What could be the same effect oil has on paper.

And oil was a combination of earth and water. But of course, he would not speak about a Kekkei Genkai. For that, her paper would have to be completely drenched with that substance and as they already saw, half of it crumbled away.

It was still a certain thought to keep notice of for later, though.

"So that would explain her talent in Medical Ninjutsu. Water is a very suitable nature for it since it has healing properties. Anyway, the other results that can happen are crumbling for Lightning, cutting for Wind, and burning for Fire. Two natures are already pretty uncommon. More than that is rare. Congratulation on that, Sakura. Now you two should try it out as well.", commented Kakashi now after joining them.

"Hmm." Naruto tried it out and his paper was cut into two pieces. "Huh?"

"Looks like you only got the Wind nature, Naruto...", said Kakashi.

Sasuke also did the test and his paper burned away completely after it crumbled up a little.

"Fire and some Lightning." That result got Naruto's morale down to the ground. But his eyes glistened when he actually looked at Kaito again. He focuses on the paper in his hand especially.

Kaito noticed it and smiled wrily. Concentrating he channeled his chakra into the paper and at first, there was actually nothing happening.

That got a frown from Kaito and he increased the output from his chakra so much that it became visible for a short moment. His red chakra was like a flame that enveloped the paper before it vanished.

"Hmm, that is weird. Everyone has at least one nature...", commented Kakashi but at that exact moment when he said that the paper split into four parts, and each of them did something else.

That let Kakashi widen his eye. "Well, that is a surprise...I don't think I ever heard of anyone besides the current Hokage having all five natures...And he is someone that trained for decades..."

Looks like the natures showed themselves already far sooner than the natural level on his status. At first, Kaito thought he would end up with only Water and Lightning.

That in the end made Kaito somewhat guilty when he looked at Naruto but his brother was only grinning from one ear to the other.

"Haha, Kaito got all 5 natures then, right? He beat you, Sasuke!", he exclaimed proudly.

"Why is it you are comparing us both instead of your lousy talent...", grumbled Sasuke back and got a clear annoyed look.

'So that was what it was...' Kaito smiled happily. "Now, that is why I didn't want you to keep learning the Fire Style, Naruto. You got a greater affinity with Wind. So using wind-based jutsu will be much better for you. Though you can still try other Jutsu. Just keep in mind that your speed in learning them and the general power they show will be weaker."

"I see, but Kakashi-sensei should teach me one then. I don't know any. Wait, did you not use one before?"

"That is correct, I can teach you the ones I know. The same goes for all the other styles. I guess that explains why I don't feel any difficulty learning them...Haha." His last little chuckle was more awkward than anything. Did he maybe sound too arrogant?

"Good, then you can give me some lighting style Jutsu for the Great Fireball.", said Sasuke.

'Greedy little...', remarked Kaito immediately.

"Um...Can I also learn some water and earth Jutsu?", asked Sakura.

Looking at her he nodded. "Sure, but how far you get with them is up to you guys. By the way, Kakashi also suggested learning and improving your Body Flicker. Naruto, you especially can get pretty fast if you utilize your wind nature with it."

"Alright! I am hyped.", grinned Naruto.

"But before that...Let's train some water walking, shall we?", grinned Kaito now with a slightly sadistic expression.

"Huh? Wait, we can walk on water?", questioned Naruto.

"Sure you can. Kakashi-sensei did so last time if you had paid attention. It is just a lot harder than surface walking on solid ground or medium solid things like trees..."

"Oh, come on...I don't want that...Can we not just....keep that for later or something?"

"You do realize we are in a swampy region with many water sources, right? If you fall into the water you are basically dead. Especially when you fight someone like me that has a water nature...So you should at least be able to stand on it. So no complaining. The sooner you do it, the sooner you get your Jutsu as a reward. How about that?"

"I agree with that proposal. So do a good job.", nodded Kakashi in approval while thinking something else.. 'This kid already learned all that...Not to mention his affinities. What a little monster. If he didn't lack the combat experience, the last fight would have ended differently. Hmm, maybe I can actually relax a little bit?'
