115 S2 Ch 23 (Ch 111) : Talk for the future

Sanada left the Hokage office after some talks with Baki.

In their talk, Sanada promised that Konoha didn't have any intention or whatever to unsurp Suna, and all he did before was just because he didn't want to take the achievement for himself.

Rather than attributing it to a person from another village, wouldn't it be better to attribute it to your fellow villager, Sanada persuades Baki.

In the end, Baki could only choose to believe in what Sanada had said as it was for the better for them and to be honest, Baki didn't believe that the current Suna could do anything even if Konoha tried to unsurp them.

In Sanada's temporary residence, Sanada just entered the door but he was greeted by the scene of his "only" disciples waiting for him.

Temari, who was waiting for Sanada in his temporary residence, looked pretty worried as she didn't know what Baki wanted to discuss with Sanada, but when she saw Sanada was able to return safe and sound, she sighed relief.

" Teacher!" Said Temari as she greeted Sanada.

Sanda nodded at Temari's greeting and proceeded to let Temari sit on the sofa, where he would explain his original aim at Temari.

Temari followed Sanada, and now the two were sitting across each other.

" Temari, you must have a lot of questions to ask me, but please listen to me first!"

Said Sanada, to which Temari responded with a nod.

After that last life and death incident, the trust and admiration she had for Sanada had raised on the whole another level, and it could even be said that she was already on the same level as Sakura.

Combining it with her feelings toward Sanada, Temari now felt that Sanada was her most trusted person in the world.

She didn't know why, but sometimes she caught her sensei was looking at her dazedly as if he also had some hidden feelings for her, and it made her very happy.

However, she also knows that a love story between two villages was not something that their current system could accommodate, and if she wanted to do this Romeo and Juliet thing, she would at least need to change the relationship between Suna and Konoha.

Sanada took a deep breath as he began to explain:

However, Sanada could only shake his head at this response.

" You are both right and wrong, Temari. In the third world war, the sudden disappearance of the Third Kazekage might be the fuse, but it was not the actual reason. The actual reason was the huge discrepancy between the big ninja villages. Konoha's location was just too strategic, and that has made the other ninja village envy them and decided to declare war on them."

Temari nodded, but she still didn't know why Sanada said all this to her.

She just stayed silent and waited for Sanada's next explanation.

" You might be wondering why I bother to ask all the previous questions, right? Actually, Temari, my identity is not as simple as a delegacy from Konoha. My actual identity is a member of a secret organization that aimed to make peace in the entire ninja world. Our aim is to spread our knowledge and management techniques through the ninja world so everyone could enjoy prosperity."

At this moment, a trace of disbelief appeared in Temari's eyes. She had readied herself if Sanada said that all of this was Konoha's arrangement, but to say that all of this was a ploy of a secret organization, her mind could not easily accept it.

Sanada saw this, so he continued:

" I know you have your own suspicion. But please think carefully, the wind-style chakra armor, the secret healing technique that could even heal you after you were that injured, and that paled face villain. All of it was only possible because of the secret organization, and for that paled face villain, he was our enemy that intended to destroy the ninja world!"

Sanada's explanation was a bit absurd, but when Temari thought it like this, it began to make sense.

If Sanada could teach those techniques to her, then why hadn't she heard those techniques being used by Konoha ninja before? The only explanation possible was because Sanada was not entirely a Konoha ninja, but also a member of the secret organization, as he said before.

Sanada saw this, and a smile appeared on his face. Things have become like this, and he would only need a bit more push to take down Temari.

With a bit of aggressiveness, he held Temari's hands on his and said:

" Come with me Temari, together. Let's bring peace to the ninja world!"

It wasn't known whether he was deliberate or not, but Sanada was able to take advantage of Temari's hidden feelings toward him.

Being held so close like this, even Temari was not able to keep her calm anymore.

She blushed hard, and with her thinking ability being diminished, she eventually nodded to Sanada's offer.

" Alright, that's a promise. You must not back down on your promise, okay Temari. Or else, I would get really mad!"
