Naruto would have continued observing the rest of his classmates, his eyes darting curiously from one to another, but the teachers chose that moment to walk in. He paused, his attention shifting toward them.

Naruto tried to gauge the level of Mizuki, but the outcome was the same as before. It revealed a limit to his abilities; his own level was simply too low to access the more detailed stats of higher-ranked ninjas. This realization stirred a flurry of questions in his young mind: How could he increase his level? Was it only through completing quests? And what about his own stats—what were they?

The idea then struck him that if this was like a game, there might be a way to access some sort of command prompt.

"Profile," Naruto said quietly to himself, hopeful but seeing no change. "Pause. Menu," he continued, each command spoken a little louder, a little more insistently. Finally, at the word "Status," an orange menu popped up before him, shimmering slightly in the air.

Naruto's eyes widened as he leaned forward slightly.

[ Description: Uzumaki Naruto is the dead last of the Konoha Academy having failed the graduation twice before while clearly not prepared to graduate. His past is shrouded in mysteries for him to uncover. ]

"It's over 9000!"

"You need something, Naruto?" Iruka's voice snapped him back to the present.

"No, Iruka-sensei."

He hoped Iruka would just keep talking, allowing him to fade back into his thoughts about the mysterious system.

But Iruka wasn't finished. "Then you can tell me what I just said?" he pressed, his eyes locking onto Naruto's, expecting.

"You said that graduation will be in two months?"

"I guess you were paying attention," Iruka conceded, moving on.

Naruto had to restrain himself from jumping up and down and cheering. He checked his status again, and his LUK stat was still '?'. So either it was really high, or negative—if that were even possible.

What the hell does LUK do for him anyway?

Naruto tapped the '?' symbol in the top left corner of his Status window. Instantly, several small boxes appeared in black with greenish-yellow writing, and yellow lines were drawn pointing to each area of the status window.

[ Race: The species or ancestry of your character. Each race has unique traits and abilities that influence gameplay. ]

[ HP (Hit Points): Represents the health of your character. If HP reaches zero, the character is incapacitated or dead. ]

[ AC (Armor Class): Indicates how hard it is for enemies to land a successful attack on your character. Higher AC means better defense. ]

[ CP (Chakra Points): It represents the character's chakra reserve. Used to perform jutsu and other special abilities. ]

[ Lineage Traits: Special abilities and characteristics your character has due to their race. These can include physical or magical traits, unique skills, or resistances. ]

[ Class Features: Abilities and skills specific to your character's class. These define how your character functions in their role. ]

[ Feats: Special talents or abilities that provide unique advantages or capabilities to your character. They can be chosen or earned. ]

[ Stats: Your character's core attributes, impacting various aspects of gameplay. ]

- [ STR (Strength): Physical power and carrying capacity. Affects melee attacks and ability to handle heavy objects. ]

- [ DEX (Dexterity): Agility, reflexes, and balance. Influences ranged attacks, evasion, and stealth. ]

Naruto sighed deeply, overwhelmed by the flood of information he was trying to absorb. Closing the menu that displayed his mysterious new ability, he attempted to focus on Iruka's lecture but found himself quickly drifting into daydreams about the incredible things he could accomplish with his newfound powers.

"Okay, students, please read this booklet, and then we'll head out to the practice range to work on kunai and shuriken bukijutsu," Iruka announced, breaking into Naruto's thoughts.

As Mizuki moved around the classroom, distributing the booklets to each student.

"Why do we have to read this again?" Kiba complained loudly. "Every year we get this damned booklet."

"Because every year we like to refresh our students so they don't get sloppy or lazy in their techniques," Iruka responded sternly, his sharp glare quickly quieting the outspoken Inuzuka boy.

Naruto glanced down at the booklet placed in front of him. Just when I thought I could escape into my thoughts.

[ Notification: Opportunity detected to acquire skill 'Kunai and Shuriken Bukijutsu'. ]

[ Action Required: Confirm acceptance or declination of class skill. ]

Naruto nearly tore his hair out. He knew how to throw damned shuriken and kunai. What the fuck was wrong with this game? He tapped 'Acceptance' just to see what would happen.

[ Alert: Unable to learn skill 'Kunai and Shuriken Bukijutsu'. ]

[ Requirement: Please acquire 'Shinobi' class to proceed. ]

Naruto's gaze hovered over the Class option, noting that no class was currently assigned to him. He wondered, a little hope kindling within, if the system would allow him to choose one now.

As he tapped to select a class, his heart pounded with anticipation. The moment he clicked, the screen shifted dramatically, unveiling a vast array of class options that spread out in a colorful display.

Each class came with a small icon and a brief description:

- [ Wizard ]: Masters of arcane magic and spellcasting.

- [ Barbarian ]: Fierce warriors with unmatched strength and rage.

- [ Warlock ]: Wielders of dark, often forbidden powers through deals with mysterious entities.

- [ Spirit Warden ]: Guardians who draw strength from their bond with nature and spirits.

And several others:

- [ Paladin ]: Holy warriors driven by a divine cause.

- [ Sorcerer ]: Innate casters with unpredictable magical abilities.

- [ Bard ]: Charismatic performers wielding the power of music and charm.

Naruto's eyes widened in awe . His heart raced with excitement; this was unlike anything he had ever seen before. Wow, a wizard? That would be amazing!

Naruto clicked the "Wizard" class.

Naruto growled again as the system screen flickered.

Naruto blinked. What the hell?

"What's the point if I can't select the good stuff..." he thought, feeling a bit deflated. Reluctantly, Naruto tapped on the 'Shinobi' class.

Naruto, feeling a glimmer of hope, clicked 'Acceptance'. As he did, his stat points (27) were automatically distributed, updating his stats:

Naruto's eyes widened as the words 'Uzumaki Clan' appeared on the screen.

The names Uchiha and Senju flashed through his mind, famous clans he knew of, but Uzumaki? This was his heritage, a connection to something greater that he had never known.

Suddenly, Naruto stood up. His chair scraped loudly against the floor, drawing the eyes of every student in the classroom.

"I gotta... go and take a massive piece of shit!"

Without waiting for a response, he dashed out of the classroom, leaving a wake of confusion behind him.

Hinata, who had been watching the blonde closely, noticed the tears glistening in his eyes. What's wrong, Naruto-kun?

As he ran, Naruto's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. An Uzumaki Clan... What does this mean? Who am I really? Questions raced through his head, each one echoing louder than the last.
